anyways are we the team with most international trophys now ?

I was quite happy with the team's performance. We were making a number of good passes that weren't pulled off, and the fullbacks did well going foward except there was little end product. Pippo, of course, worked hard. Pirlo had a hand (or foot) in all of the goals, so I feel he's MoM. Nesta did good in defense too, got to watch his shirt-pulling though.
There were some defensive slip-ups, such as a poor clearance by Oddo in the first half and again near the end of the match but that's what happens in football. We seemed to relax a bit too much at times as wel. Dida's positioning and decision making was poor in the first half and he wasn't really threatened in the second except for the last few minutes. He doesn't like crosses, does he?

Subs came on too late to make any real impact.

A fitting tribute to Puerta in the end, and on that note, I'll leave Puerta out of this post now as I want to talk about football (though respectfully, like the team, I will abstain from my usual elated celebrations of cup victories).

We played well on the whole, controlled the game and were dominant. The first half was a bit strange, the feeling of the game was a little subdued (naturally). We weren't too good and looked a little out of sorts, never looking completely focused and never really looking like ourselves. Defensively we were poor with crosses, especially on the corner that lead to Sevilla's goal. Still on the whole we still dominated, managed to restrict Sevilla's attacking play and create chances.

The second half was much better, as we looked more confident and determined and our focus streamlined. Our play was much better on the whole and we never really looked like we'd give anything away in the game (with exception to the brief minute after the 3rd goal where the side switched off).

Player rundown...

Dida - Started poorly, looking very shaky, but improved as the game went on.
Nesta - Another stunning game, never fails
Kala - A wall, had a great game
Oddo - He looks great these days, his attacking contribution is good and defensively solid. However, he can improve on defending crosses from the Left as he tends to leave space behind or deal with the cross poorly.
Janku - if he can continue this form all season, then I have no complaints for not buying a LB. Awesome goal.
Ambro - A Captain's display, assured, calm, solid and important.
Rino - Typical Rino, all over the park and fantastic for Pippo's goal.
Pirlo - Easily my MOM, simply outstanding. Passing was superb, on the ball he was composed and he was instrumental in all 3 goals (back heel to Rino for Pippo's, pass to Janku for the second and Pass to Kaka when he won the penalty).
Seedorf - Not as good as other outings recently, solid if unspectacular.
Kaka - Seemed to struggle to take control of the game, often lacking support when on the ball. Did the job in the end and was very important though.
Pippo - SuperPippo strikes again!!!
Brocchi - solid
Gila - NA
Emerson - I felt he did pretty well for a player who joined last week. He looks in good shape.

I felt we did well on the whole. Kaka was again important to us and has become a symbol of this team. Pirlo for me was simply amazing. I think credit to the players too for showing a lot of class. They definately kept in mind the events of the past week and showed great respect.

There was no atmosphere in the second half. I don't think they should have played the match but Sevilla insisted, from what we know.

Make no mistake about it, the win was very important tonight. You could say it was put into perspective, but let's not trivialize what we did today.

And also, we paid the required tribute to Puerta. We played with the appropriate sobriety, which can't be said for, let's say, Poulsen, who was filthy as usual on the field.

Beyond that enjoy our win because it's another trophy and a fairly significant one. We have now won this trophy for a record fifth time.

Oddo, Pirlo, and Gattuso were amazing, even if Oddo's first touch let him down a few times.

We were just great in the second half but i keep saying we needed transfers!!. No one doubts that we have the best starting line up but what is coming afterwards?.
You show when Rinno and Pirlo got out and Brocchi got in that we had trouble these players are not unlimited bateries. If we had players like Tomasson, Rui Costa who we had in the past the things would be ideal.

So it is probable some of you to have the virus in its initial form. I work now with my old computer which is out of danger because i have windows 98 and expiro is for new technology computers.

i am so noob my first time in site check my post on how to see the game if u want it was for here i guess. and i have to add to more things how important is abro this year hes not the star of the team but hes giving some important things in our game with 4-5-1 tactic and i am happy that emerson seems to be ready to give solutions from hes first match
