Pippo made his chance harder for himself by taking it so wide, but that doesn't excuse him not finishing it. Same with Gila, he cannot be excused for not taking his chances, but like Pippo he's a player that can miss the easiest chances at times.

I think you were too harsh on Pirlo. His game is based controlling the game, passing out to teammates to build attacks, but when teammates don't give him options (too often the case), then he struggles to have great effect. The Samp match exemplifies this well, as in the first half he struggled to pick out good passes, but in the second when the team improved, it was his pass to Gila that opened up Samp for Kaka to score.

Yesterday I don't think he was bad at all, even if not at his best. The only real disappointments were his shot and a pass out wide to Cafu that went out for a throw. But his freekicks were normally fairly dangerous (when he crossed in) and he was trying to make things happen.

Now Galliani and Carlo are talking about the refs mistake for now giving us a apenalty. The panalty was clear, but for Milan to cry about one penalty in a home game against Torino is just pathetic.

Carlo said we player great first half! What the hell are they talking about?

I will point out few things:

players positioning during the matchOur players didnt run enough and so they were never in the right place in the right time. Most of all I judge Favalli, Cafu and Pirlo for that. Without right fitness status and will to play at 100% every game you want to win, you will play like a veteran, like theydid yesterday. Favalli and Cafu didnt make any good runs that follow the build up, Cafu only made like 3 good runs during the game, and Favalli none! Pirlo didnt follow up as well... You cant play seriousely when you have 3 players that arent running at all.


Also ,Carlo's tactics are completely wrong for serie a matches, as our playes are too complicated...

We look like we dont have 3 actions trained and ready to play them in real games. It all depends on individual moves by KAka' and Seedorf. Our corners are ridiculous, and throw in plays make me lauhg! Play something from training for the love of god!!!

Ambro is making fould every time he feels like it, Pirlo is shooting from everywhere while he has 6 or 7 man waiting for the cross in the box. Cafu is SHOOTING on the first cornes instead of passing it inside, which is his duty. But no, he is a legend and he can do whatever he feels like!

Its not the fact he missed, again, its the way he kinked those 2 chances! What the hell was that?? Every single person that played football for few times in his life know that what Gila did is not a proper way to KICK THE BALL!! And he does is all the time! Just take a look again the way he did it, like he never played football in his life! Missing it completely in 100% chances. Hitting it the wrong way! Like those legs are not his own!

Man, make your own players fight and run or get lose already. If you cant make those players, ask for new. If not, dont be a pathetic excuse for Gallianis and Silvios way of making money go into their own pockets. Have some selfrespect man!!!

Actions are overplayed, too complicated, way thought the middle of the field, players touch the ball too much... positioning is wrong...

What will Pato do?? Stop lying Galliani!! Will Pato make Pirlo run? Will PAto make FAvalli and Cafu have 25 years again? Will Pato make our players defend by pressing instead of staying 40 meters from our goal?? This is all BS!!

Good post mrki, I think the same way.Favalli, Brocchi, Cafu, Inzaghi, player like them should not be in Milan and Galliani is putting too much pressure on Pato, he is only 18. Galliani go shoot your self if you depend on a 18 year old to save your season.

The first half was very good. Gila had two great chances, and Kaka had one great opportunity, we had more possession and did look dangerous.
You can't expect the same thing out of Favalli and Cafu as you do out of Oddo and Janku, they are not at the same level. And Pirlo's role in the team is not to run, it is to set up play and control the tempo of the game.
You can call it irresponsibility if you'd like but I think it is mor panic than anything else, they don't know what to do late i games. Ambro fouls becuase he is desperate for the ball, same with Pirlo shooting those free kicks late in the game.
If you are going to bash Gila for his technique you should do the same to Pippo. Gila has been improving game after game recently and deserves to be supported not bashed because of a 0-0 draw.

It is easy to critize when we our team is losing but come on. We've been playing this whole season with forwards who cannot receive a pass and dribble past defenders. We are missing an important aspect of attacking soccer. Ronaldo will bring that aspect back to Milan. You can blame the management for the lack of options for Carlo but blaming Carlo and the players lack of motivation and will to win is just 'pathetic' as you would say.

I don't want our fortunes dependent on a hobbled Ronaldo and an 18-year-old. That alone would've set off an alarm in any management...except ours, of course.

The main problem lays in the defense played by the other team. Teams like Catania and Empoli knows that the only way to get one or three points, is to play compact. With 9 players behind the ball, and one attacker on top, like Spinesi, the still have that little chance to score. Milan play ball, but can't get around theird defenders, and they get nowhere

Pato? no1 said he's gonna be the best player at Milan, but he will be a good option for playing a 4-4-2 you twat...(and no dont say Milan played 4-4-2 vs Torino they havent since last match Inzaghi played in with Gila, and not last night's match )which also means less DMs and more forwards...

back to Gila... he didnt score, he had 2 great chances, well true, but he played like a professional not like someone who hasnt played football in his life...
Mrki, Try playing Football with 4 Defenders marking you/Holding your shirt and then come talk about Gila's Performance(also Seedorf's and Kaka's)

at times I saw 11 Players of Torino playing on their Half... and 10 of them are in the area... wasnt surprised we didnt score

the point of this post is to say: mrki i think this is the first Football match you have ever watched in your life...
