SL Benfica vs Milan: Ambro and Pippo injured

well guys we will be facing the boys of the maestro rui i dont see this game as a huge challenge for us but they are playing at home but our record anway from home has been dominat and also of course it is the CL hopefully we can qualify so the game against celtic is meaningless for us only bad news is Ambro and Pippo are out Ambro picked up a thigh injury and pippo has the flu seedorf is travlening with the team but is doubtful this is ronaldos first game i think with him in the lineup we will have a dominate performence and benfica has lost their last game at home 3-1 Forza milan!!

I too anxiously await this match, as I again look forward to seeing R99 on the field of play.

I think we will get the full 3 points, although Benfica are no pushovers at home.

FORZA MIIIIIIIIILAN!! Lets take the 3 points home from Portugal, wrap up the group, and play the primavera in the remaining UCL group matches...

Let us hope Kaka finds back some form and #10 plays... if not we will lack the necessary creativity to break down Benfica's defence.

I dont think that will be the case Ho-Young...the thing is that Benfica will be playing at home, and thus feel "obligated" to attack...and if memory serves me correctly, I do think they are more of an "attack-minded" team than not...

So, I think we just need to be clinical on the break, and finish the chances I am sure we will create...as the pressure will be on them to attack, not us.

Interesting to see if Carlo will go with 2 forwards, or a single striker....

Oh what poor fortune -Ba is injured I guess that means we'll try to scrape up a draw then

@ Warro I thought Kaka was a striker Hell I thought Seedorf was a forward too? Why are we pushing them further down when their talents obviously lie in front of goal

it's Wrong...Benfica won 3-1 in Coimbra no lose the game

Benfica for the Portuguese Championchip don't lose for 32 games (it's the same a portuguese championchip (30 games) + 2 games)

Probably a 4-3-2-1 formation; is the '1' going to be "Gila" or "R99"? I actually wish that it's going to be 4-3-1-2, but I guess as Milan is playing away + need to play Counter more often than really attack, a christmas tree formation is more appropriate.

Carlo said that it will be one striker and the two forwards (attacking midfielders). He mentioned R99 probably won't start, so it'll probably be Gila.

Part of me wants to see Kaka rested for this game, but it seems unlikely
