Great victory for us, that takes us to Japan with a win under our belts...good game by Clarence, especially in the 2nd half when he played much more of the "10" role than in the 1st half.
Thought Gorky played well, and that Kaka, despite looking a bit off form, should have either scored that break away goal, or set up Pippo for a brace...regardless, Celtic were pretty toothless in attack, and for me, were playing for a draw, with the possibility of a counter attack goal. It was called an offside; further, it looks like before he headed the ball, he knew that it was called offside; so I wouldn't be too concerned about whether he missed it or not...

Jeff - so you think that Pippo knew he was offside, so he purposely headed the ball to the keepers arms?
 haha there's no way out of that one for Pippo.. it was a terrible miss! and the keepers facial reaction to Pippo's reaction was just priceless |

NO I don't mean that; but when you hear the whistle just at the moment when you head the ball; or at least during my experience, you often get distracted just at that moment and he didn't head it right
 .but yes, that GK's reaction to Pippo's miss is just one out of sincere mockery . |
