Anyway Marzoratti will be a regular Italy NT starter in the next 3-4 years. I'm sure within a couple of years he will be called up by Donadoni.

The only who can improve our defence in January is Zambrotta. We must check the italian market to find a good CB as well for the future.
In 2 years from now, when Oddo and possibly Zambrotta are burned out he could perhaps fill in the right back position at Milan.

Do we still own Boriello actually?

It would be great if we signed Zapata as cb but I guess we would be competing with Juve for his signature.
I'd also like the idea of Pasqual on the left.

Zambrotta Set To Move To Milan In January - Report According to TV show 8TV's programme Força Barça, Gianluca Zambrotta will leave Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window in order to move back to Italy.
Zambrotta Set To Move To Milan In January - Report

Zambrotta's marriage to the Blaugrana is coming to an end, according to Catalan television station 8TV, with only the detail of when he will be allowed to leave being the main problem.

However, according to the latest reports from Spain, the Italian wing-back will leave the Catalan giants in January to join AC Milan.

Apparently, the main reason behind his departure from Spain is that he has family problems and therefore he wants to return to Italy as soon as possible.

Barcelona are set to allow the player to leave due to his strong desire to go back to the peninsula, as Zambrotta is himself negotiating the deal which will free him from his current contract.

Nine days ago, Zambrotta's agent insisted that no move to Milan was forhthcoming, but these revelations throw that statement into doubt.

Should it take place, though, this will be an important transfer for the Rossoneri who can therefore count on another World Cup winner in their bid to climb back up the standings in Serie A

However, Zambrotta will not be available for the Champions League games since he has already played in the competition for Barcelona this season.

For Barcelona, the search for a new right-back may begin, although Carles Puyol has lately deputised there to good effect.

here's one more news....too good to be true, IMO

Milan & Inter Battle It Out Over Benzema AC Milan and Inter are set to battle it out on the transfer market for the signature of Lyon sensation Karim Benzema.
Milan & Inter Battle It Out Over Benzema

The French striker, who is still only 19, is one of the most explosive talents in European football.

Benzema has scored 12 goals in 17 appearances this season, including two fine goals on Wednesday night as Lyon knocked out Rangers in the Champions League.

This has led to a host of European clubs such as Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus all wanting to sign the hitman.

However ‘Il Giornale’ claims that Milan and Inter are both ready to offer Benzema four million pounds a season to get their man.

Benzema, who currently earns £800,000 per annum, is valued by Lyon at €15m, however this is expected to have doubled by the summer when any possible transfer will take place.

The 6ft frontman is certain to be named in Raymond Domenech’s France squad at Euro 2008, and is likely to play against Italy in the final group game in Zurich on June 17.

Benzema has so far scored three goals in eight appearances for Les Bleus.

Hi everyone after 3 months! I comed back again and i will stay for a long time everyday again!

Back to topic. As i can read from the news if Milan buy in January Zambrotta and Benzema it will be great transfers. We really need such good players. The bad thing is that they will not play in CL this season and that is a hard thing if we gonna buy these 2 great players in Winter or in June?

i think they should both come in January coz
1.) They would at least help us out in Serie A
2.) Their arrival would also weaken other strong opposition (not so much for Barca though as Zambro wasn't dat good there anyway, but a big blow for Lyon if Benzema leaves for us)

Agree, Marzoratti is definitely one that I have high hopes for in the future, he's got the potential. I feel in him and Darmian, we could well be looking at one of the future classic defensive pairs.

Theres nobody that would come in the winter market that would boost our weak parts in the team.I say negociate for the summer transfer .

We need two defenders(center back and a right back) and a midfielder whit pace ,in atack we should be fine if pato turns into a new sheva,if not we need a world class player not a tapper like gilla.

I really, really, reeealllyy hope Zambrotta joins us in january even dough he will not play in CL. He is, in my oppinion, still the best fullback in the world and can play both left and right. At this moment I would use him on the right side as Oddo is simply horrible and Im sure Milan staff sees it.

Zambrotta is my big wish for years and if this comes true it will be brilliant! He can help us alot with his brilliant defending and brilliant attacking play, fingers crossed for Gianluca to Milan!

If we SOMEHOW manage to get Roonie fit for spring, along with Pato and Zambrotta that would be a huge plus for us, but that is not anything special actually as we are in REALLY bad position and we simply need to catch 4th place. Also, one more fast midfielder would do us wonders!

About Benzema everyone knows everything, the man/boy is brilliant and looks like a mix of Trez-Sheva. Who ever gets him of the big clubs will make the best attacking buy of the summer.

Actually; if you look at the table, you'll realize that if our aim is the fourth place (really), then it's not as 'bad' as some people have been thinking. I simply fail to see the logic of some people thinking MIlan is in deep trouble all the time; whether MIlan won 5-1 or lose 1-0 or after 4/5 years people still crying out loud that Milan is an old team exactly.

For god sake, is an average age of 28 that bad for Milan? What do people want? Age of 18?

Don't forget Antonelli on the left, who had a great game for Bari today, racking up two assists.

If we win against Inter and win our games we havent played, we would still be 4 points our of 4th place... am I right?
