I like Kasper Schmeicel but not that much. He was good when he played for City. But his height is 'only' 181 cm. In my opinion, a GK should be more more than 185 cm height.

Out of topic, anyone here knows why Kasper was loaned out to Cardiff? The City GK lately is Joe Hart (also 20 years old).

I don't mind Kasper but I'd rather pick Radek Petr of Parma or Sergio Asenjo of Valladolid among the youngsters...

I've loved him, I've hated him. Unfortunately no player can stay great forever. Dida's time has passed and the management must act fast in order to find a quality replacement. I've really admired Antonio Mirante of Sampdoria, but I think he is co-owned by JuBe.

Nelson Dida’s time is up, as Milan draw up a shortlist including Sebastien Frey, Mikael Landreau and Celtic’s Artur Boruc.

A succession of howlers have seen Dida lose the confidence of the club and Coach Carlo Ancelotti, so the race is on to find a replacement during the January transfer window.

The prime candidate had up until now been Fiorentina’s Frey, who is currently out of action following surgery.

Another favourite is Boruc of Celtic, who impressed the Rossoneri when they crossed paths in the Champions League both last season and in this term’s group phase.

Boruc would be willing to leave Parkhead, but Milan face competition for his signature from Arsenal.

This morning the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ claimed that Paris Saint Germain have offered shot-stopper Landreau to the Rossoneri.

The former Nantes star moved to PSG in 2006 and has never quite been able to live up to his potential, notching up only four senior Bleus caps.

Nonetheless he has a good pedigree and is known for his penalty saving capabilities. More importantly, he would be available to play in the Champions League, whereas Frey and Boruc are cup-tied.

There's no difference between Dida and Landreau.
Both able to make world class saves and few minutes later a blunder follows. Both have great reflexes.
I think Landreau makes even more mistakes and even more funny than the ones Dida is able to make.

According to rumors coming form France, Milan would observing with attention Hugo Lloris (21) performance, emerging goalie of Nizza. Rossoneri's executive could try to engage him on view of next season. Also Lyon, Valencia, Bayern Munchen and -during last months- Inter and Lazio-, are observing the goalie, that has a contract expiring in 2010.

That's a transfer that's definitely not happening anytime soon.

I think the media is having fun with this, they can write anything and everything and we would chew anything up that relates to replacing Dida...

Because they know EVERY single Milan fan wants Dida either out or sitting on the bench...

And i would bet my house that every single Arsenal fan hopes he's still between the post come February...

We're like Man Utd with Barthez (and some other doggy choices in between) a couple of seasons ago... then they came to their senses and bought Van de Sar...

I wonder when the Milan management will come to theirs...

Franco Ordine, a great italian journalist that follows Milan everyday, said that Dida today got one goal between his legs.

Thre days ago got 6 goals in a small training match, making 2-3 howlers.

I'm utterly speechless. Carlo will stick with Dida until the team starts to react.

Or until Silvio either:
a) Fires him
b) Orders Galliani to find a replacement, or
c) Both.

Its ridiculous then that Nesta could come out and support Dida, when he must worry every time the ball comes into the box, that Dida will let one more slip through his hands..or just dive the wrong way, (as he did in the derby for Cambiasso´s shot)

Dida has past his "sell by" date...if we buy only one player in il mercato, I hope its a keeper.

Yesterday on the Gazzetta there was an amusing cartoon of Dida on a camel in the desert losing the orientation and going wrong way, while the other teammates were going the other side...and the teammates said : "the usual Dida"...

This is ridiculous. He's been with the club for six-plus years and now everyone's suddenly interested in his practice sessions? The papers are looking for every opportunity right now to nitpick on every damn thing he does. It's blurring the line between reporting and gossip. I wouldn't be able to concentrate either if everyone were constantly on my back.

Never mind that we can't score, we're old, we're resting our hopes on some 18-year-old kid, and it's gotten to the point where Ronaldo and his phantom injury scoring a damn practice goal becomes a big deal.

Jesus, it's like being in 2006 all over again.

Thats how a team looks like. Dida hasnt played only 1-2 seasons with Milan. Dida played as first team player at the same year with Nesta. I cant imagine if Nesta blamed his fellow-for-years.

Fans should give more respect to Dida. Let him finish his work till the end of the season.

After looking for some years how Milan are, Dida-haters should prepare themselves to be dissapointed because Milan will NOT sign any GK this January to replace Dida. Milan are not a club that just throw away his player because of blunders like Dida did.

Dida made blunders but still he deseverd more respect.
