Good news, though I do not know whether we should let him play that day or not....Since I do not know the exact extent of his injury, I fear it might just aggravate his ankle...Or maybe I'm just being too anal about it

Pato being a sportsman and only 18 years should recover even faster than that.

If Pato really take so long to recover then i would be worried about his general physical condition. That mean he might be an injury-prone player....i hope he is not like Messi.....
You know what, about an year and a half ago I played with some friends of mine with such injury. Well, the difference is that my right ankle was damaged, the damaged Pato's ankle is the left one, I'm right footed just like him. A week after the injury I was able to jog and that's why I tried to play football. I was able to lead the ball, to control it, but wasn't able to shoot or to stop a powerfull ball with the right foot. I tried to shoot only with the left foot.
I think Pato will be able to run within a week, but he won't be stabile...
He would be very fragile and I think the better option is to give him the time to recover without any pushing...

Agree and to me I prefer to lose a match than losing a player.

Dottore qual č la situazione degli infortunati rossoneri?

"Pato oggi sta molto meglio.

Translation please . . .

Pato is better, apparently, he will be available for arsenal game, Kaka too, but they wont play on Sunday.

Ronaldo and Inzaghi can play vs Siena. RIno is recovering and he will also be available for arsenal.

i see pato as a simular type as HENRY: fast, technique, and shoots when you least expect it.

I am pretty sure Pato will recover for the CL clash. He is young and determined.
I wouldn't like to lose the Serie A game though due to the injuries. Let's hope Ancelotti lets Gourcuff finally play.

Pato will be greater than Henry. Imagine Pato in 10 years' time. If he scores almost 1 goal per match at 18, can just imagine what he will be at his peak.

This guy will be n.1 player in the world. Mark my words. His technique and confidence in 3-4 years' time will be twice if not thrice the level it is today.

Once the guy will find the right times for italian and european football will score 30- 40 goals every season. Trust me.

I see the same things than before he arrived here: flashes of being a quality player while being prone to missing plenty of scoring chances. Yes, he has a 1 goal/game average so far, but we lost one game for example because he missed the easiest chance of them all.
And Pato has no chance of being the best footballer in the world unless something strange happens to the likes of Kaka, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, etc. And more great players will appear from night to day.
And signs of this is that you dont stop doing whatever thing you are doing because Pato is playing, but you are watching ManU or Barcelona because of those other players, even if you dont give sh*t about those clubs.

Yea we watch those teams because of the players you mentioned, but those players have been playing for those teams for a few years now. In a couple of years, if people don't watch Milan just to see Pato play, then you can say that because making that statement now makes no sence. I doubt anyone was watching ManU or Barca just because C.Ronaldo/Messi were playing when they first started except for the people that actually wanted to see what the hype is about those players. And trust me, I think we'll agree that Pato tops that list beating both C.Ronaldo and Messi because he has raised amazing hype around it.....and up to now you are the only one that thinks he failed to live up to it because he missed some easy chances.

Pato has such maturity in his game for such a young age. He just turned 18 in September. It hasn't even been 6 months yet, and you want to tell me that after what we have seen from him at 18yrs and 5mth old he will not succeed as the best in the world?? Yes, anything can happen and he can turn out to be another overhyped youngster. Signs so far however show completely the opposite and I don't know over what bases are you making that statement. Because he cost us a game against Atalanta??? No bases for an argument, because you are not giving the kid a chance.

Messi is 20, and yes he has been on the world stage from roughly the same age as Pato is right now. But Messi didn't have the whole Barca world on his shoulders like Pato has basicaly the whole Milan world on his shoulders to improve. Barca was performing great when Messi came to the stage and nobody was watching Messi with a telescope and talked about every single mistake he made. Something that is not the case with Pato (yourself as an example), because Milan is not doing that well and Pato was expected to help this team to the top of the table. So far, he has done that and has provided great enthusiasm among us fans and obviously the team.

I am not even going to talk about C.R. and Kaka simply because he came on the stage at later years. Ronaldo is 5 years older then Pato and although he showed signs of being a good player, only last year was the time when he established himiself as one of THE best in the world. Same goes for Kaka, who put himself into that category at rougly the same age as C.Ronaldo.

Messi is among that class at 20yrs old and make no mistake about it, if Pato continues like this by the time he is 20 he will be among that class too and by the time he is 25 he will probably own one of those golden balls, UNLESS something terribly wrong goes with HIMSELF, and not with the players you mentioned because he has every potential to be as good as those players.

sorry for the book everyone, just felt like proving a point!

agree, Pato gives all the signs of becoming the best one day..
we need to give him time and be patient, we need to be patient to his mistakes, because even the best players make mistakes

Just stop putting so much expectations on the kid like saying when he's older he's going to score 30-40 goals per season, that is just utter rubbish.

I agree that Pato will be something special. I dont think he will is better than Messi just yet, because for me Messi is only second best to Maradona..but maybe Pato will improve his game more. He definitely has had more responsibility than Messi had at 18 and certainly has impressed more than Messi AT 18 and don't forget he's only played 6 games (and already scored four and was decisive in 2 games at least). Messi was brought on games for experience and to make him learn better, Pato was brought on to SAVE Milan. Huge difference in the pressures on these players and Pato has certainly been doing much much much better than I expected him.

However Messi is another class, Messi is better than Kaka (maybe not right now but will be). Cristiano is only setting the Premiership alight, I dont really see him doing much on the International stage or CL.
