Amauri, Drogba, Benzema

The rumors are picking up pace after Ronaldo's injury. According to various websites, Milan have already started working on bringing one of these players to the club (although by reading the reports it would seem as though we're going to buy all three ).

Personally I would like to see Amauri at Milan, but Drogba would also be nice. Ancelotti has excluded Benzema, saying that he doesn't fit with our style of football, so that leaves us with two names.

The question is just if we'll be able to lure any of these players to Milan. Drogba seems to be heading to Barca, Amauri is a primary target for Juve, and Ancelotti doesn't want Benzema. So frankly I am a bit worried that we won't be able to bring in a world class striker in the summer, especially knowing the club's transfer policy. I think if we get into a bidding war over Drogba or Amauri, we'll pull out when the sums start getting really high, and we'll end up without any of these players.
I can imagine Paloschi scoring a few more goals this season, and then Galliani stating in the summer: "Pato, Paloschi, Gilardino and Inzaghi are our strikers for the next season," followed by comments such as "we don't need any reinforcements," "remember all the trophies we have won" and "we have absolute faith in our forwards." Maybe we'll also hear "Kaka is also a forward."

I'm just afraid it will be another summer filled with bull**** comments from Galliani, and then a team that looks pretty much the same as this season's, meaning we'll be mediocre in the Serie A and have a decent run in the CL. Again.

How doesn't Benezma fit our style, and crap like Gila does??

Don't want Amauri. Drogba or Benezma would be great, but I expect nothing but freebies with gayliani in charge.

Absolutely, but I think not having good strikers is what has made this season such a disappointing one. Our defence is second only to Inter's in terms of goals conceeded, and we have a world class midfield. We just lack those strikers who can create goalscoring opportunities on their own, and who also score consistently. Well, except for Pato, but he is young and is bound to be inconsistent in his performances for a few more years.

Actually if we had a decent keeper we'd be up the league by another 7 plus points probably. remember dida vs inert, kalac vs palermo.

A bit daydreaming but

---------kaka---------
----Pato------Benzema

Can become the deadliest forward trio ever.Plus Benzema and Yoan can help each other grow in to great players

I think we have already had decent GKs, and good DFs, but the inability to score often put a heavy burden on them. Inter conceded 2 and scored 3 (or more), but if we conceded 2, we lost (except the 5-2 with Napoli). Kaka & Pato might be not enough.

From some of his plays with Lyon in France that I watched, I think he is not a finisher. He is much more like Pato or Ibra.

We have already Pato but we dont have decent finisher who can score both in Serie A and Champions League (Gila is better in Serie A than Inzaghi but Inzaghi much better than Gila in CL). My hope is to see Drogba with Milan.

With Benzema, he is still so young, this year is only his first season as starter with Lyon. I also want to see Benzema play for Milan but not next season. He needs to play with Lyon at least till 2009 before he joins Milan, IMO.

So, for next season I'll opt for Pato, Gila, Drogba, Paloschi, Inzaghi as our strikers. Inzaghi can be counted as 'half player' as he couldn't play in most of our games especially in Serie A and due to his age and his injury-prone.

What use is a world class forward if they don't get any service?

Our fullbacks have been poor this season in terms of providing crosses and lets not forget how poorly Pirlo has played for the majority of this season.

Likewise if the defence and goalkeeper keep making silly mistakes and costing us points, it wouldn't matter how many we score. The goals are only 1 part of the problem.

Because Benzema cost a lot of money to sign while Gilardino is already here. Ancelotti is management's puppy, he says what management wants him to say. This is the same guy who said David Suazo doesn't fit our style only to have the management sign the guy the very next summer. Don't believe anything he says, he has no control over the transfer market.

i agree deffinetly its cuz benzema will cost money rather than amuri or drobga who will cause money as well but they voiced out that they want to leave chelsea and palermo its much harder to sign a player which the team does not want to let go rather than a player whose team is willing to sell him...benzema is a great finisher (i mean pato is a great talent simply amazing but we have seen if his finshing was better he would have alot more goals) benzema is almost like another pato but PROVEN in CL as well as national team i dont see us actually persuing benzema but more likely to go for amauri who is proven in serie A rather than drobga who would be switching leagues and i think thats why we will intianly go for amauri if that doesnt work than drobga but benzema a long shot (it would be a dream to see benzema don the red&black)

you mean in the games he wasn't fielded?
Pirlo is one of the best midfielders we have and lately he has been showing that

The most accessible is Drogba. I don't think Lyon will sell Benzema this summer, and they already refused a 40 millions offer.

Technicallywise we need a stronger striker. Benzema is a fantastic player but we need desperately a player with Drogba's characteristics.

Giovanni, I agree. Drogba would be a wetdream of a signing. He is big, strong, good ball control, and can finish like Sheva used to. One player like him can really change our game play. Just think how much space Pato would then have; two defenders would have to focus on Drogba, midfielders would have to keep a closer eye on Kaka, and that leaves Pato with space and Pirlo with great passing channels.
