because of there's a changing players in both sides the formation changed too. will we screw since Fiori apparently the highest possibility in the goal?lastest news said that Kalac is on doubts to play against Gunners
c'mon 38 yrs old GK and never plays in such an important game in CL ? what a "LUCK" but crossed my fingers that somehow he plays the outsanding performance and makes some fantastic saves!
-------------Fiori---------------
--Oddo--Nesta--Maldini--Janku--
------------Pirlo----------------
------Gattuso---Seedorf--------
-------------Kaka--------------
-------Pato-----Inzaghi--------

have to scores some goals in Emirates so it'll be benefit for Milan so i put 2 strikers hopefully both of them scores in this game

as for Gunners:
since Wenger never likes 4-5-1 formation maybe this formation will plays by them:
4-2-3-1

-----------------Lehman-------------------
Sagna-----Toure-----Gallas-------Clichy----
----------Flamini-------Gilberto------------
Hleb-------------Cesc---------------Edu--
--------------Adebayor-------------------

simply looks like 4-5-1 but when attacking 4-2-3-1 is more likely.since awful performance by Eboue against MU i think Wenger will keep him out from the formation.

I don't think Gilberto will play.
Eduardo on the left is very bad because he never performs on the left..i think we will play 4-4-2 simply because we have to score...when we come to san siro we will play 4-5-1

if Arsenal plays 4-4-2.. do u think that one Flamini (the only DM there) could handle Kaka, Pirlo and Seedorf at the same time.if Wenger thinks so.. no wonder that he never lifts CL trophy.

If KAKA, pirlo and seedorf all come forward at the same time, i expect milan to concede ATLEAST 6 goals.
Flamini is the kinda DM that doesn't sit back...instead he attacks the other players upfield in order to push them back, win the ball and distribute.

Pirlo doesn't go up anyway, and Kaka and Seedorf (and seedorf also defends, but not as well) always go up. I think your assessment may be inaccurate.

a 4-3-2-1 with the usual formation will be perfect against Arsenal, then a 4-3-2-1 again at San Siro in the first half, and introduce 4-3-1-2 only in the second half or 60minutes or so in the second league will be Mister Carlo's (usual) game plan.

Arsenal will try to control the ball, which they will do so successfully. They'll press Milan hard, and Milan usually do poor away.

But if somehow Milan has a top day and players are passing accurately, then Arsenal will have a more difficult day.

Man u are a BPL follower and u guys only know 1 formation which is 4-4-2, which to be honest sucks
Its the Best side in the world, the most technical league, & Best players. Its not just Febragas, C.Ronaldo, Gerrard etc etc. We are talking about the VERY BEST here. ACM formation is different, its complicated for u guys U guys can't just fit Lampard and Gerrard in one team, where as ACM has won the CL with Rui Costa (similar to Kaka), Seedorf, Pirlo + 2 strikers all in 1 team. Any English can't even think of adjusting half of there players in 1 team. Thats all because BPL knows only 1 formation and it never works in the CL

Looks like the fullbacks are back for the game and Lehman will stick in goal. Eboue can replace Rosicky no problem, but please Arsene don't play Gilberto

I'm still unclear of the formation Wenger will play,

IMHO 451 - will be a safer way to take on Milan as this will pack the midfield and Kaka wouldn't have the room but scoring with this formation will be difficult, or
442 - this way it is more likely that Arsenal can score but at the same time is risky as Milan have a very dangerous midfield and more room.

I will still stick by my judgment and say Arsenal will play 442 at the Emirates and 451 at the SS.

And there are two things that I hate at the moment, they are:
1: 451, and
2: Eboue.

Fabregas, Hleb and Rosicky/Eboue do plenty of defensive work themselves.

I wonder a player like Pato or Kaką would have done instead of Rooney.
Sup Gio

Thought I would post the quote here as I don't think its right in the Pato thread.

I'm not saying Rooney didn't have a good game as he was immense but I'm sorry was this the same Rooney that has tore up the Arsenal defense on all our last three meetings with United? For the games in the past he has been in Kolo's back pocket, just like Ronaldo has always been in Clichy's back pocket. That performance was a 1 off and if it happens again I would be very surprised. Every team has had performances this season which they would want to forget and we can choose the best players from both teams Kaka, Hleb, Ade, Pato etc and say 'I wonder what these players would do in such a weak performance by the opposition.'

To judge an Arsenal FA Cup game and think you will face the same team is as stupid as judging Kaka on a few Seria A games.

Before Kolo went to the ACON the cb paring of him and Gallas was probably the best in the PL and again Rooney was kept quiet in the game at the Emirates. The only worry I have is that Kolo has not been the same player ever since he recovered from the injury at the ACON. He was wrong footed for one of the goals against Egypt and that is very rare to see from a player of his caliber.

Still hoping for a cracker game tomorrow, soo nervous.

The most widely used formation in world football sucks? Any more pearls of wisdom you'd like to share?

Funny, the last three CL finals have featured an English team playing 4-5-1.

Chelsea and Man United also tend to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 in the CL.

Fabregas and Hleb often to helps attacks than defense.and Rocisky will be out for this game.as for Eboue.. i don't think Wenger will plays him after MU saga.

but when u score in opponent home there always be a benefit as for the goal difference at the end.so it will be interesting if Arsenal plays 4-4-2 in SS and 4-5-1 or whatever formation as long as not 4-4-2 in Emirates.but that's just my opinion though.score in opponent home but save in the home.as for Milan Carletto will do the best i hope to see Pato's debut in CL here

If Pirlo doesn't go up anyway...it would be up to the centre backs and full backs to try and defend against his accurate passing.
That means Playing flamini (1 DM) will not have the consequences that the other guy is suggesting.
