I support my team no matter what, and I've been supportive for the majority of the season. The cry for failure comes when the fans see hopeless performance.
Last season although Milan struggled in the league I could see how they could win the Champions League, because if they took a game seriously they would get the result no matter what.

Now I've been watching the last couple league games and an Arsenal game. I DON'T SEE how Milan can even score at the moment, except for occasional flashes of brilliancy, (in the latest games from Pato, Gourcuff, Paloschi).
We cannot systematically create chances, in fact we can't even defend consistently.

I really want the team to do good, especially in the next game against Arsenal. And I hope that I have only 1% of the intelligence of our management that sees the picture better than me and is following a plan beyond my understanding. I really hope.

To wrap up FORZA MILAN, I am always with you!

Did Milan play that bad? I did not see the match as I was watching Inter&Roma and I have to say that ref was just horrible, not only he did send Mexses out for nothing but also the goal that Zanetti scored should have been disallowed and book Crespo instead! the goal was originally a cross that Crespo has no chance to get so he made a great dive that he should have been booked for as hes distracted all Roma's defence attention and the result was Zanetti with the ball at the edage of the penalty area with the defender looking at Crespo, Roma deserved to win at least 2 or 3 goals, lucky bastards.

You get tired; not physically but mentally. You can't stay in front of the computer playing Winning Eleven for 24hours; you need a break.

It's the same for the players.

I still don't undersatnd this cry for failure from people when Milan is obviously already failing in Serie A. For God's sake, stick with your team and say some encourging words. We have been hearing all these pessismistic talk for the past 5 years.
As long as you accept and are willing to find excuses for Milan's sub par performances, and not speak critically of them when they deserve it, why would things change.

They knew how many games they had to play. They knew fatigue would set in at some point. They knew that their starters would a rest, which would mean, quality replacements for starters would have to be purchased in order to give them rest and still get full points.

They felt that this team as it is could get the job done in all the competitions they had to compete in this year, so when they say they are tired, I believe them but it's poor planning on managements part that has caused this situation.

Their lack of foresight in this regard was astounding. And in my opinion sticking with my team means calling it the way I see it be it positive or negative, it doesn't mean I don't like them as much as someone who only speaks positively about them. It means that I'm trying to look at them objectively at times.

Enough people here have looked at the negative, and I'm presenting only the positive side. Does it mean that I'm content or giving excuse to the team? No. We probably all know that our performance has been awful.

For why Milan management doesn't do anything about it: Nobody knows except really the management. I have speculated somewhere else why Milan management doesn't change, so I'm not going to repeat myself here. The fact is that the Milan management has been the better than any other team at the moment (well, at least in terms of CL) for recent years, though performance in Serie A is worse than dismay.

Pedigree, of course, only count in the past. What counts is what the future beholds. But expecting Milan to play fantasy football game in and game out, sorry but it's just not going to happen, especially when you play one game per three days.

We fans seem to be unaware of the amount of preparation it takes to play against a team, big or small, and demand whatever we like. That's fine, we are fans! But you always want to be objective enough to say, "ok, maybe it's not totally the team's fault".

Nor am I ready to throw out some suggestions about which players to buy. Honestly if I knew, I would have been a player scout long time ago. I can only comment on whether I want a player to come or not, but I really have not much idea about which player will flourish and which player not. Anyway, this is way beyond the scope of the discussion...
