pato was amazing today its just a shame that the rest of the team dont give a rats ass about the league and securing 4th place.

at this moment in time we are playing really poor and are very tired against arsenal i hope that kaka, nesta and pirlo are back.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Well, first of all this was a joke. I bashed Gila here on very few occasions.
My message was along with others - that he has to leave.
I cannot believe you would ban me for this joke.

totally agree! therefore i think dida needs to give away a good slice of his fat salary to kalac!

Kalac plays 3 or 4 games good and is a new Buffon ?? Some sups forget very easily ... Remember how Dida gave us the CL in 2003 and the Scudetto in 2004 with fantastic performances ?? Now Kalac plays 4 good games and he's superman ...

Though , i'm glad that Ancelotti didn't start with 3 defensive midfielders ... That was my biggest fear. So Carlo, tuesday NO Pirlo-Gattuso-Ambrosini, but Rino or Max on the bench and 1 attacking player in the line-up.
I hope Seedorf is match fit, than i would prefer Seedorf-Kaka-Inzaghi and Pato as our four attacking players against the Gunners.

What can I say? Recorded the game on the DVR, tried to watch without fast-forwarding, saw the lineup, I thought some positive thoughts, but then by the 25th minute I had had enough.

Fast-forward all the way to the Bianchi goal, watched that, then continued to fast-forward to the end of the recording, even past the equalizer.

With all that said I can definitively say we are in for some dark days the coming three months. Things at Milanello could get ugly, and quickly. We are slow, predictable, out of ideas, and shallow personnel-wise. And hanging our hopes and dreams on an 18-year-old who's getting the crap kicked out of him. I hope and pray he won't be disenchanted/seriously injured by age 21. The current attacking situation is dire. No one is backing up, stepping up, and helping Kaka and Pato, and look at them right now. Beaten up, pounded on, bullied. It is unacceptable and criminal to surround these footballing gems with incapable support and incompetence.

Fortunately for us Viola's best player (Mutu) is out for extended period of time, so the fight for 4th place might play out until the 38th week. Who knows. To be frank, looking at the way the team is conducting their business, putting all their eggs in one basket, Milan don't deserve the last CL spot for next season.

Surely Galliani and Co. have some major plans for us this summer. Surely they do...

But I'll end with this. Let me preface by saying I hope I am wrong like last year. But no way lightning strikes the same spot twice.

Milan will not win the Champions League.

hi guys

does anyone knows why www.acmilan-online is out of the internet? maybe their server is down.

well..i saw the game..horrible performance by the lads. The only ones that were playing were pato, paloschi and gourcuff...obviously kalac had a near perfect match despite the goal that was not his fault. Well.

hope fiorentina loses tomorrow against juventus...

and one more thing..SEEDORF IS ****! i will thank him for all he has given milan but is time for new blood.

bring on arsenal next tuesday

Probably the best thing I've read today. Kalac kept us in the match, but the earlier post comparing him to Buffon and calling him "Fenomeno" was beyond ridiculous.

I'm getting more and more nervous for Pato. Is this the second or third time he's reaggravated his ankle injury since coming back? If this keeps up, he's going to turn into another what-could-have-been whose career was cut short by injury. The league needs to do something about teams who decide to become makeshift hit squads whenever a high-profile opponent (in our case, Pato and Kaka) comes to town.

Anyone who's ever followed the NBA knows that they try to protect their star players, because they're the ones putting asses in the seats. Hence, an old quote from a former ref: "You take these guys out of the game and we're all out of work." FIGC (or whoever runs Serie A) needs to follow suit.

I think it was a normal game that the team played to half potential in order to preserve energies for the CL clash. We aren't in sparkling conditions, therefore Carlo played a decent match with the second team.

Am i the only who found Digao's performance decent?

@ Bram: i think Kalac has secured us not less than 6-7 points in the last 10 matches. That's what a keeper is supposed to do, in other words to be a positive factor. This proves our point about Dida: Dida wasn't a positive factor, but a negative one. I see the defenders more calm knowing Kalac is back, and the defence stats prove my point: we get few goals by late.

The saves he made in 2003 counts for nothing, 5 years later.

i won't be holding my breath if i were you, at the end of the year, they will promise us some impossible target, then galliani will be coming with the most stupid comment about how perfect we are, ancelotti agrees like always, and inter will beat us to every good player in the market because we don't want to pay any kind of money.

now, i'm more afraid that we won't get that 4th position in the league more than ever, we are so predicatable, in the league, it is not about form, it is about well, we are not playing to win, ancelotti takes a lot of blame for that, since inter has a lot of injures too but still they are playing there guts in the league week in week out, i'm not saying manchini is a good coach, but sprite wise, he is miles ahead of ancelotti, not to mention we don't have the players to win, we need good wingers/ LB, RB, i seriously doubt oddo or yanko abilities, we need driblers, playing "ok i can't drible method" is not getting us anywhere, we need someone other than kaka or pato to get through defenders, and we need some real striker other than the joke gila, who next to gatusso were among our weakness links in the game.

this might come as a surprise to me to say this, but i do rather to get kicked out of the CL, and get our 4ht position in seria a, and build a new team, for next years, rather than continue in the CL(not winning it), and not getting the 4th spot, and not getting any transfers because no funds for the transfer for next year, i even don't want us to win the CL this year if we are not to build a strong team for next year, because if we won it, be sure that the modification on our line up will be extremely menimum.

I guess it depends on whom you ask. The consensus on R&B and Milanfan is that he played poorly.

No, you're not the only one.
I think Digao did pretty well. He was unlucky in the situation of their goal, Rocchi did something very classy, changing the direction and caught the whole Milan's defence unprepaired and left Oddo to fight with Bianchi for a position, Bianchi had an advantage and scored. But in every other situation Digao was very solid, I don't remember Lazio to had any other opportunities after the goal.

Well, we couldn't expect much from a match without Pirlo and Kaka'. Wasn't very surprised to see that our performance yesterday was the same as Gourcuff's. Very poor in the first half, and a little bit better in the second half. But sure there's plenty to ask for more. It wasn't easy for him either, looking how bad were (again!!!) our fullbacks, and the other our MD's were Ambro and Gattuso. The only one who tried to help was Pato.

Let's hope today Juve will beat Fiorentina...

Bonera at left back? Has Ancelotti lost his marbles?
Bonera cant kick with his left foot and should only play at CB. When Digao came on for Janko, Kaladze should have moved to LB not Bonera.

Why does he persist to never play Kaladze at left back when we need cover there? He has a great left foot and can put in decent crosses and even played there a few seasons ago.

I prefer Kaladze at CB but in emergeny situations like this he should move to LB to give the team balance.

Certain situations?Oh come one we had played him in 4-3-2-1, 4-3-1-2, 4-4-2, Alogside with Kaka,Pato,Oliveira,Ronaldo,Pipo and he was the same like he is today.Gila is a static no shooting and no creativity striker. Some of you says that Gila needs a good second stkriker, to make good passes to him so he can score, great crosses to his head so he can score, and help him to help us. Thats a joke. Pato is so litle time with us and he don't need help from anyone to show who really is. Why Milan should help Gila?Gila should help us. Sell him and buy a player like Amauri,Benzema,Drogba who doesn't need someone else to help him.Gila is finished, and the football he plays has finished years ago.

Gila needs to play regularly and keep his confidence up.
Last season he was the same Gila like all the years he had played with us.Nothing different.and i can't se him changing to a great striker after so many chances he had with us.
Gila needs a new club not only for Milan's good but and for his carrier.

Mate Gila ha so many chances from Carlo in so many years and he did nothing. For god we can't start Gila in every single match knowing he will not help us.He had his chances and he did nothing. And also is not only gila we had and other strikers, we can't play gila in every match.
And for last Gourcuff hadn't so many chances like Gila.
