The way he scored that goal in catania is sheer brilliance and elegance and arrogance, taking on the defender then from 30 yards out swinging in the ball with the inside of his foot into the far corner of the goal while still only 18 is sheer arrogance and football marvelness, I know 30 year old stars who can't do that ball as good as Pato did it against Catania.

Pato was a pleasure to watch yesterday. He created more chances then Milan had for the past 4 games. I also think he'll benefit our team because it looks like he can play in any offensive position. Man, if Lazio didn't foul him at midfield on that one run he would have ran 70 yards and scored a goal!! My one concern so far is his durability.

I think he needs to pass the ball more, but I'm confident that he will develop in that department over time. He already is a joy to watch. Let's wait and see what the future holds for this young but extremely gifted boy...

He is still so young. I know he didn't play well and I think he was so lazy tonight but that's what we should take if we buy such a so young player. He still needs to learn lot.

Sorry, there are people that actually have a life and dont have the entire day, every week, to come here and post. Actually the other day I passed by to post a rumour about a GK, so I guess I didnt wait until Arsenal defeated Milan to show up. Sorry, if you are frustrated because Milan has been eliminated or because Pato isnt a great player, its not my fault.

I think at this moment, milan really need all bashed words to raise management and players motivation back again.
Just enjoy it and show how the 'have grown' fan react at this condition

Actually, instead of taking it too hard on Milan I prefered to tip my hat to Arsenal since they were fantastic during this series against Milan. And yet, if you look back, in spite of that superiority we were right on it until there were 15 minutes remaining in yesterday's game. I, for one, thought that we were going to extra time. But well, let just say that the best team won and we were at least 2 goals worse than Arsenal in the series.

Gio, though I understand why you reacted, but I urge you to calm down.

GilaAttack, quite what makes you think Pato has been underperforming? At 18 he's the only player right now performing with consistency in a squad full of the best players of the last 10 years (and many of them will go into history as greats). His strike rate is impressive (something like 5-6 goals in 8-9 starts?), even moreso considering the fact that our attack is lacking any kind of cohesion or quality. In fact, nowerdays our play has resorted to simply giving the ball to Pato in hope he can create something by himself.

At 18, the fact he's been able to handle the responsibility and pressure placed on his shoulders is quite stunning. So no, there aren't no Pato glasses, the fact is he's performing well considering what he has to work with. Quite why you constantly feel the need to bash him (you've done this since we were first linked to him), I do not understand.

Well, serves us right to depend and turn around our season/fate on a 18yr old boy... He's still a teenager, had only 77 minutes of CL experience, and yet we expect him to play at the same level as Kaka or Ronaldo...

Come on, be somewhat realistic and realize that Berlu and especially Galliani fed us all the bull about how this wonder-boy is going to score 30 goals just to make up for the fact we didn't sign any world class strikers during summer and winter...

I think every coach on the planet said what we were doing to Pato is wrong, and that we do have a super talent on our hands, but he'll only be ready in 2 years, not 2 months...

The fact that he is outshining Gila and Pippo already says alot, and Milan players keep giving the ball to him and hope he does some magic, get by 5 defenders or something crazy like that...

It's just wrong... completely wrong... and bashing the 18 yr old right now for not performing is completely unfair...
