We will make it. Two months ago reaching the 5th place seemed impossible. Now we are there, and with a few months in hand we'll make it. Our team do his best in Spring.

Juve will continue losing points. Not like they are in last 3 rounds, but they'll lose points for sure. Fiorentina can not go on like this.
The question is only if Milan will start winning match after match.

It's true that Milan are the best in spring but it's also a fact that due to the EURO 2008 the league will finish in mid May (not late May or early June) and some rounds will be played in midweek.
If Milan eliminate Arsenal then You'll continue playing a match Wednesday-Sunday. That practically means that your players will have absolutely no time for rest and the tricky part is that they're playing 2 matches per week since December.
In order to save some of your stars Ancelotti will have to play with the reserves on certain matches and i doubt the reserves will be winning their matches. Those guys simply don't have the class of Kaka, Nesta, Pirlo or Seedorf to decide the matches with a single touch of the ball.

I don't expect Milan to play the way they did in past 3 or 4 springs (unless Arsenal eliminates You) and this will make the fight for the 4th place interesting until the last round of serie A, imo.

The physical tests are exaclty the same as the last season. Physically we are in the same fitness level as we were one year ago. Mark my words: if we get through Arsenal, Milan will start his Long March to Moscow. And we'll spank arses in Serie A as well, just like we did last season.

1 nice ball cant be based to blame Gila. Every single player can miss chance. If he doesnt have skills, Milan wouldn't buy him.

Most poeple blame gila are wrong and biased. They mostly dont support their statements. They just look at the amount of goals Gila made. It's clear, Ancelotti doesnt only look at the amout of the goals but the contribution to the team.

I agree he should go. I hope, he could be better in other place

Your reason could be right and wrong. I dont have any exact answer.

When Milan signed him he was a completely different player. I followed all his steps both with Parma and especially with U21. Gila was a different player. It's clear he suffers the "miedo escenico" syndrom. He's afraid of the big stage. That's why his goals are scored all far from San Siro.

Yes, that's why he benched Gila in all the important games, preferring a one leg Inzaghi rather than a fully fit Gila. Go and look at all the finals Milan has played this year: Gila hasn't started one.

Just to give some other facts, look at the marks of all italian papers yesterday on Gila's performance.

This one seems to me the issue we had about Dida. I'm sure his lovers now appreciate the way Kalac has save our arse and secured us at least 7-8 crucial points. We were right then, asking to bench Dida.

Are you sure that Gila in Parma was surrounded by at least 3 players? that Gila had same chances (or less) like he has in Milan?

Inzaghi in Milan is much better in CL compare to Gila (in Milan) but in Serie A Gila much better than Inzaghi. It's very logic that Carlo used Inzaghi instead of Gila in CL last or this season.

Actually I talked about Gila's form generally. I dont say Gila has been playing well with Milan. I am also not satisfied with Gila's performance but judging a player whithout looking at their type of play and the problem that player has is biased.

About yesterday match Milan performance were really bad. But what people blame is only Gila and it's unfair.

i think the main reason gila cant score is because the quality of crossing from oddo and janku is piss-poor, gila in his first season scored alot of goals from serginho crosses when he was playing left-back also we had cafu right-back who was also good at crossing.

now oddo 9/10 cant get it off the floor or beat the 1st man imo gila would score alot more goals in the crosses were better

Dani Alves anyone?

If at least Milan has decent fullbacks who can cross (much better if Milan has old Seedorf, not Seedorf right now who is too lazy to run), I dare to bet Gila will score at least 15 goals per season in Serie A.

But what we have now? Jankulovski is pretty good when attacking but still fails to deliver good crosses. Oddo? This player shouldn't waste his energy to kick the ball to make a cross because we know, his cross 99,99% will go to other Stadium.

I don't know about that; what explains that Inzaghi can score from crosses while Gilardino doesn't? Maybe his positioning is just bad?

Anyway, I think both have a point. It's not totally Gila's fault, but he needs to step up, too.

Wait, people have been saying that for three years...

At this point Gila has age on his side. If he were already in his 30s he might be looking at the exit. Nonetheless, he'll be back next year because of Galliani's reluctance to get rid of the veterans.

because we play so narrow apart from the full-backs its essential that they have good crossing abilites which in past clubs previous seasons they have had but now looks like pub players in a sunday league.
gila is better with his head than feet so if we gave him better deliveries then he would score more goals in a team which play with more width he would also be better but i doubt we'll change our system just to accommodate him.

No player in this planet can beat Inzaghi's positioning. If the best attacker in the world has points 10 from 10 for the positioning, then Izaghi must be 11 from 10.

Inzaghi even can make a goal from a chance that is actually not directed for him, just like he did in CL's Final this year.

Imagine if we don't make it to fourth spot, Juve does, but we win CL and automatically qualify, kicking them out of CL ? It'd be super LOL

after arsenal and empoli's game, we have one week rest and then the LAST MIDWEEK serie A game vs sampdoria.
so i am sure we can catch fiorentina. we have played too many games every 3 days. the worst period is almost over, we just need to beat arsenal.
