I agree that Ancelotti screwed this all up, but can we blame him when Seedorf just came back from injury? Anyway, their first goal is kind of lucky too, but how the hell did 4 white shirts players unable to clear the ball is beyond me.

I agree that Paloschi or Gilardino will be a much better sub, in hindsight.

Take it easy Bosniaco, he is right.. the emerson-seedorf sub came around the 75th minute, then their goal at the 81st and then again at the 84th, then Gila came on 85th and Paloschi for Kaka at 88

Blaming this on Ancelotti doesnt make sense. This was entirely the players fault, the defense completely broke up the last 15 minutes. Emerson for Seedorf was completely the correct sub given that Seedorf didnt last the entire match due to just coming back from injury.

Why would you put in a 2nd striker when we are 1-0 up and our 5man midfield has had complete control the last 30minutes? It doesnt make sense. Who else couldve been put on? Brocchi? I'll take Emerson over him every day in a game where we need good techincal players.

Ancelotti did a good job today. He started with a smart 1 striker tactic, he made correct adjustments after a 1st half where Roma was slightly the better team. 2nd half we dominated until the last 15, and unless Ancelotti spesifically told the defense to start walking around and assume the ref would blow the whistle in every situation, he did nothing wrong.

I put all this defeat on Carlo, he made just one move all game Emerson, and that was a big mistake(the other two subs were out of desperation).

And i dont know how two times CL winning coach, doesnt adapt to other teams tactics after they sub.(When he obviously decides to defend the result)
Spalleti introduced two wingers in the game Giuly and Vucininc..and Carlos response was Emerson(a slow center orientated DMF), if not other than Brochi would have been the logical sub(who is quicker and plays on the right side, meaning he would double Vucininc with oddo and than Rinho could move on the left to double Guily.

I know we were a bit unlucky,however this was an easy task for Carlo. Everything was going right,until he did smth that gave the edge to Roma. I dont say lets kill him now, I `m only talking about this game and this game only.

I hold Pato and Seedorf responsible too for not being serious enough in finishing couple of great chances.

Hello all, I don't usually post, but I have to say that last effort cross that skmimed off Gila's head and right past Paloschi should have been a goal. An experienced striker such as Ronni, or Pipo would have put that in. Palochi's spacing on that play was horrible. He was dangeriously TOO close to Gila on that. If he has proper spacing, the ball lands right onto his feet and it's an easy goal.

I don't blame the young kid though, after all he's still just a kid. But you gotta realize, having 2 kids, pato n paloschi, and 2 veterans in Gila and Pipo, the goals are going to be fewer and fewer as the kids don't seem to have the touch yet and gila and pipo are struggling mightily.

And please when you're not clear (and angry, like all of us I think), don't write in majs ... it's not really useful.

Gila then entered for Ambro at the 85th.
Paloschi entered for Kaka' at the 86th.

So how many subs did he do by the 84th min? Ok I said 85th thats when I looked at the clock because everything happend so fast. So he is not right and Carlo did one sub by the 84th min.

Spaletti did two subs by the 61th min.

Every time we think we're good enough to catch 4th place the team and Ancelotti keeps letting us down... What a crappy evening... I guess someone is laughing at us somewhere...

Can you guys stop this BS about when Milan made their sub? It is really not an important point.

Spaletti made two subs exactly because they were losing. had they not been losing no sub would have been made.

Thats what I'm telling you Carlo did one sub in 85 min of play. Second sub happen in the 85th min, because we were losing and then Kaka got injured.

Jeff it is important, becuase if you watched the games you could see that Pirlo was tired. At the end of the game he couldnt even put a cross in. Subs are meant to refresh the squad during the game.
