In all seriousness, he's a great athlete and runs around the whole 90 mins throwing himself into tackles, it's just a shame his passing/shooting doesn't match up to his defensive appetite.

Passing is not needed if he has a good creative player next to him. Kinda like Gattuso with Pirlo.
But i've never seen something similar to this guy. He's not the smartest guy in the world and he'll get many red cards in his career, but it's unbelievable how he manages to be everywhere on the pitch.

It was the same at Liverpool and people who say he's rubbish don't get his qualities. Yes he's not great technically, but if he just has to mop up in front of the defence then there aren't too many better than him. When he & Mascherano played together it was formidable, not too good going forward, but if you had the ball you'd soon have 1 if not both of them breathing down your neck!

He could easily be one of the best DMs in Serie A.

I think Drogba can use the uefa rule for those who are above 28 years old and leave for free the club just buying his conrtact.
And for lampard i think he is in his last year of his contract.If not that summer then in january of 2009 you can sign him as a free transfer.

But if we signed him this summer, we'd need to pay for him.

I don't know prices, that's up to Galiani, but I think a good summer for us would be:

Zambrotta
Vargas
Santacroce (young centreback with a big future, I want him before he's expensive)
Cigarini
Rosina
Drogba
and either Borriello or Sheva (haha, it's so weird having those two on the same page)

I think David Silva from Valencia would be a great signing as when Milan play 4-4-1-1 the left hand side is usually taken by Massimo Ambrosini or Gourcuff who are good players but aren't really LMs

Zambrotta seems to be on everyones wish list. I think he's gonna be Oddo part II when he arrives.

R.Sobis totally turned him inside out last weekend when Barca played Real Betis.

Get me Sagna for the right, Vargas for the left.

Flamini for the defensive mid.

Ronaldinho & Quaresma for the flanks.

Give me the monster named Drogba to play along side Pato.

Then give me M.Amelia between the sticks.

Potential team I would use to against smaller teams that we should be crushing 3, 4 or 5 nothing. This team would be fast, wouldn't stop running and score a ton.

This line up I'd use against more difficult teams that I want to play a more defensive game against. i.e a CL match against Manchester in Old Trafford.

I'd loan out Gourcuff, sell Gila & Simic, and tell Brocchi, Flavalli, Serginho, Dida and Ba bye. I'd have Genoa pay us to keep Boriello & Sporting pay us to keep Grimi, (Madrid can do the same with Abbiati), and promote Paloschi to the first squad. If a fit Ronaldo came back great if not no worries.

Maldini, Cafu, & Inzaghi would be mentors for the new players and be used at key times in key games.

Bonera & Maldini could be the other CB's. While Puma could rotate with Ambro if needed.

This team IMO would compete for EVERYTHING, and you would be replacing quality with quality when it comes to subs. You also could create very different looks/formations as you have many players with many different skills sets, abilities and talents.

Ok I know I'll get nailed for this post but my dream signing is Kenwayne Jones for Milan. Here's my case

He is from Trinidad (thus always in red (white) and black ).
He is rated as one of the fastest players in the Premiership
He is big strong and very tall he'll fit into our "big striker" role very well
He can play on the wing or as CAM
He is scoring goals (not much but hey it's Sunderland and they're rubbish)
He is learning some of the tricks of the trade from our legendary Dwight Yorke
He takes and scores free kicks for Trinidad and Tobago
He is super cheap (Berlu take note)
He is 24

Carrizo regained top perform, word back then was that Lazio and Milan bought the GK together. He is arguably the Argentinean league MVP so far and we are talking about a GK.

I agree,shevchenko hasn't been in form for two years now and he is 32 years old!Ronaldinho had a bad season and he won't fit in Milan.Players like Huntellar,Gomez,Berbatov,Eto'o,Drogba and others are much better for us.
