Does anyone remember my words "pray the god that Kaka doesn't have any injury in all these years playing with us''.
No my words comed true.Allright and with Kaka we weren't the superb team but we aren't the team we are right now.Without him now we are a serie-b team.

Milan is Milan and players will arrive if we pay them. But Carlo the genious said he wants Boriello or gomez up front, he doesnt need Toni, Drogba, and also, remember this, he said Benzema will not fit Milan stile...

Once again we started with wrong players and wrong attitute and we lost the 4th place for sure. We nnow have Napoli away, Juve away and Inter untill the end of the season, and we cant even draw games like this!

Another tough match that can be added to these three is the last round match against Udinese.
Milan play at home, but from what we've seen this year, that's not an advantage at all.

Maybe that match will be the 4th place decider ?

And even the other 3 matches aren't as easy as they look. You have Cagliari and Reggina at home and Livorno away. All these teams are fighting for their serie A lives and they won't just give up.
Milan will have to play with 101% till the end of the season and hope their rivals will lose points. That's the only way for Milan to win CL qualifications.

Ancelotti is going to change his tactics for the next match(s) ... and Kaka is normally going to come back ...

Are we going to see our Milan with something like 3-2-3-2 ?? (for example: Kaladze-Bonera-Maldini, Ambro-Gattuso, Gourcuff-Pirlo-Kaka, Pato-Palo).

Anyway, Nesta is out for the next game with this red card coming from nowhere !!

anyway, i cant believe what i'm reading atm... Milan totaly deserved the win in the second half, they put the Atalanta defenders in Pressure and if it wasnt for the ref and linesmen it would have been an easy bash for milan...

LONG LIVE SERIE A REFS!
Ace, sorry I can't really agree with you. Yes, we have a fair chance to make 4th spot still, but that's been the case for a good couple of months or so now. Everytime we get the chance to secure 4th spot, we completely waste it with results like this.

And yes, we put Atalanta players under a fair amount of pressure at times and the ref and linesman totally killed our chances (honestly if Serie A is clean then I'm the pope). However, there's no excuse in the manner we lost. We didn't actually start the game badly, but at the first sign of trouble, we started spiralling downhill and were totally dominated. Like Tony says we could have been 4-5 goals down, and at half time it should have been 3 for sure. It's the same story as Samp a couple of weeks back, at any sign of trouble the team seems to completely fall apart.

This performance imo wasn't as bad as the Samp one though. That match was a bigger embarrassment.

Though I still have doubts on Borriello (I'm not convinced he'll perform if he returns to us), Gomez for me could be as good a buy as Toni or Drogba, he's a very good forward.

Where did Carlo talk about Benzema not being suited, do you have a source?

We certainly dont deserve the CL this year...These players dont deserve the Milan shirt to tell you the truth, they are not fighting for every ball like Paloschi and Maldini.. Pato started the first 30 minutes brilliantly, but every other touch he was absolutely SH-IT, yes I'm talking about PATO. Gila was just Gila, nowhere to be seen. Very poor defense today (Oddo in particular), Pirlo - Gattuso were bad, but the worst of the night was easily Seedorf. Ambrosini only woke up in the last 20 minutes and played really well.

The blame should fall ENTIRELY on Galliani and the management for not making changes when needed. They had all of January to do something but they believed in this pathetic group of players who have struggled from 2 years now.

It doesnt look like we will be getting 4th after today but we still have a chance. Tonight, the only good thing was to see how amazing Paloschi was. He did everythin in the second half.

I'll stand by my post of a few weeks ago when I said some depth and additions will do the job, not necessarily a revolution...but one thing I have to say is whoever is responsible for making a squad that calls upon Brocchi when 0-2 has to wake up or leave the team, injuries and even any tactical needs are no excuse.

Regardless, Milan is officially in huge trouble (it has been unofficial for the past year).

I'm sure within my first 10 posts on this site I said something to that effect. And in my mind it was official as soon as the summer transfer window closed.

i agree we need a mass clear out(about 10 players), but based on the attitude of milan management, i am afraid they will keep these players and still believe the winning cycle is not finished yet.

I think we should extend Favalli's, Cafu's,Serginho's, Brocchi's, Emerson's, contracts.

Regarding the game: Atalanta played a great match, and we sucked badly. It has been a terrible cycle an indicative that we will lose or tie when one of the 2 halves we play like we don't care while in the other one we use more heart than talent. The ref was terrible mostly starting by not sending of Gattuso and latter by screwing us, but we lost inspite of him.

Overall view: I can't just go and blame one sector or one person. Everything has gone wrong this season. From a bad mercato, to bad decisions by Carlo, to players who are out of it completly, to medical-physical therapists who aren't exactly doing wonders, to tiffossi's that jeer certain player of their dislike in the first time he touches the ball or who prefer to point out the typical individuals to blame instead of realizing that is that element isn't the only one-and is probably the least of our problems-. Heck, just watch the amount of posts we have after a game in which we win in Serie A compared to any win a CL game...we are the perfect reflection of what our management believes.

It's also a normal part of football, dark periods (been waiting for this one for some years already, it actually got delayed) are always going to be part of it, heck maybe if everything was done the way I wanted things wouldn't have change. However that doesn't mean that there are things too obvious to our eyes that we can just be ignored.

I'm not specting a revolution (nor is it the solution in my eyes), but I do expect changes in many places. And I hope that we analyze several things, like a lot of players that were high regarded failing with us (and not the typical "he couldn't handle the preassure of playing with us" or "his no better than 'x'", cause that's the very easy way out of our problems); like is it just the strikers that suck or are there other more influential factors that aren't helping us nor the strikers out?; like why players who were wonderful at making crosses rarely make one good cross each 2 games?; like why don't we have more creative players in our bench?; like why so many physical problems ? (age, bad preparation, what is it?); like why if Kaka has been having pain in his knee for 2 years nothing was done, specially after last season?

don't worry...fiorentina will either lose or draw their remaining matches
