Summer Mercato

We all have to remember, without a Champions' League spot, it's going to be tough to lure top players from other teams. The implications could start now as several teams are starting negotiations with players. Without a CL spot secured, other teams have the upper hand to start the summer which by reading reports, has already begun negotiation-wise....

It's been a very tough year as a fan, probably one of the hardest I can remember. Arrigo Sacchi stated it pretty well, Baresi, Maldini, etc were all bred from the youth sector. It's time to get back to a youthful team. I like the inclusion of Paloschi and Pato, we need more....

The CL spot is lost, Oddo is out untill the end and Nesta is out of Juve game with " objective " suspension by probably some Moratti commision. Its over, we need to start again.

Galliani, Berlusconi are to balme becouse they have been arogant and unprofessional, while Carlo is simply not a good coach when he doesnt have players who play on theirt own, it has always been like that.

If, after 3 years without big transfer, we cant buy Gk, Zambrotta, Eboue, Diego and Toni...for first 11, then we can just say goodbye to scudetto next year also.

This team needs big players and strong and fast players, new coach and some fresh bolld in rotation sistem ( flamini, boriello, Di natale, Hernanes, Santacroce and so on...)

things are clearm there is no need to overcomplicate it. Buy players or - nothing.

I think we should give a chance to Kaka's Brother.Digao is not the best defender but I think he will do well in the upcomming games if he gets a chance.

maybe but i wouldnt mind seing Darmian or Albertazzi getting some time aswell

It's over? There are still games left and it's the not the end of the story when you are like Miami Heat being eliminated from the playoff series and we are calling it over?

For god's sake it's not over yet. If fans don't even have the spirit to fight, why would the players?

Guys, i've heard that the fans stopped the club to sign Cesar. They had already arranged it but the ferocious fans sent (black)mails insulting the society and telling them not to sign the over the hill Cesar.

This team, for sure, would be amazing and, maybe not perfect, but almost (the balance defense/attack would be perfect, the balance right/left not but only because the right side would be amazing lol) ... but all these players coming in one time is suicide.
This team has to be done in 2 years: Alves-Zambrotta-Flamini this year (these 3 guys will be probably sold this summer) + Amelia or other goalkeeper, and then, the following year, Benzema, Aquilani and 1-2 players for the bench ("young" ones like Dessena, Rosina, Montolivo).

Spot on. Rome wasn't built in a day and you better expect us to sign a successful team for the next years at least in 2 years. It will take this summer and the next to buy the players necessary to win in the next years. The same happened in the 2001 champaign (Rui Costa, Inzaghi, Pirlo) and 2002 (Nesta, Seedorf).

Don't fool yourself, guys. Don't expect 8 signings. That just won't happen.

good, the management need to know we cant go on signing finished brazilian players and hope somehow they will become the next best thing since sliced bread. This summer should be a oportunately for us to cut away some of the dead wood. Not for us to go backwards and continue this theme of buying old players.

Does anyone know if Emerson was signed on a 1 or 2 year contract?

I dont think we will spend alot of money on more than 4 players, but with the numbers that could possibly retire leave this summer i think we will get some back from loan. Like Sammarco, Mazoratti, and Borriello.

Yes, it's why I don't like hearing the fans in the stadium whitsling (umh correct me for that word lol) ... It's true that the team sometimes (often this year) plays poor games, but it's now they need to be supported like never. Because it's too easy to support them when we are the best, the most beautiful, the most impressive, the most unbeatable, etc ...

Some signings Milan made are just pathetic,and signing Cesar (34) from Inter would be a discrase. I think that Digao could also play as a Defensive Midfielder. We should bring back Marzoratti.

To hear that Galliani was AGAIN ready to sign Cesar, that he had NERVES to do it agaion, is just sooo horrible I cant express myself!

When Berlusconi doesnt want to give any money and when your GM loses his connections and DOESNT WORK SO HARD AS HE DID BEFORE; you get what we got... In business you need to work like hell, and Galliani is not doing that.
