Alves is worth 30 mln, and if, as Giovanni says, Milan is about to loan in Sheva and bring back Boriello, plus Flamini for 0 euro, then why not Alves? I stand by my statemant that HE IS WORTH that kind of money.
And Ronaldinho will not be sold for 20 mln!! Laporta is not drunk! I mean, even a drunk person wouldnt sold him for that kind of mney. 30-35 is his price.

To compare him to Kaka is ludicrous.....Last CL season Kaka won best midfielder....this time he won best striker....you don't get more versatile than that....Kaka has played in virtually every attacking position imaginable....except as a complete out-and-out striker

It's amazing how you both seem to miss the simple point i'm making, i'm wondering if either of you actually read what i wrote. Plus you can make stats prove any argument with enough spin.

I wouldn't like to see injury prone player, like Henry, in our team.
We have already bunch of old lads to take care of. And I don't want to spend non-EU spot on Sheva. I would rather like some young, high flying Brasilian fullback. And someone mention some Berlusconi's recent statements. The last one I read was something like: We will not buy players which form is going down (except for Ronnie, obviously) and we will buy versatile players that won't sit on the bench all the time (implementing rotation policy in full) So, get ready for Scudetto ![]() |

Henry is out of form, both mentally and physically. From what I read he's missing his daughter who still lives in London due to divorce proceedings with his wife and this is effecting him personally. I don't see any reason why he'd want to come to Milan where the league would be harder on him and he'd be even further away from his daughter.

Guys, Jim UK likes Henry, always has...jus like I like Raul...and because of this personal bias, we will always think that they can fit into the Milan team...regardless of the obvious reasons why they wouldnt work....
Indeed, this is one of the situations that can only really be determined if the player actually comes to Milan...

warro wah yah do? all ok?
Jankulovski has announced his retirement from the Czech NT right after Euro 2008, so that means he is going to dedicate himself to Milan. That is not what I wanted to hear as I had hopes we may be going for Vargas or another fullback. Silvio has today said that he is going for Sheva and there is a good chance of that happening. I'm thankful that we are run by Berlusconi, any other president would have listened to the fans and completely ignored Sheva..this move will be for the best. |

In Defence, hopefully milan sign zambrotta. De Silvestri and antonini will be good back-ups. They should do away with Kaladze, Simic and Jankulovski. Cafu, Favalli, Serginho and Maldini must retire by the end of the season. Santacroce will be a useful addition together with Heitinga from Ajax.
In midfield Gourcuff, Ambrosini, Brocchi, Emerson and especially Ba must leave. Cigarini, Montolivo, Flamini (hopefully he's free) and it looks like Ronaldinho will be coming to Milan. Mesto would be a good utility player. In attack Inzaghi and Gilardino should leave. Knowing Galliani, he'd probably keep Inzaghi. If he does, then Milan should sign either Huntelaar or Berbatov. I still don't see how Ronaldinho will fit in the squad. |

If we get Ronaldinho for about 30M and Sheva almost freely, by forgetting past of Sheva, it would be a good mercato for our offensive part of the team ?!
One more recruie (a striker, 24-25yo would be perfect) and it will be enough for the offensive part ... The only problem, actually, is to forget the past of Sheva ... and to accept him back in the team. Difficult ... One defensive midfielder, a RB/LB and a promising (or already very good) CB, that's it, you have our mercato ... Last edited by GeoTav; 09-04-2008 at 13:23. |
