Im not on Mars but Im close

I understand that Sheva will be a GOOD player in Milan again, but it is not real tobexpect the old Sheva back. As well as we train him, 3 seasons have passed, he hasnt been playing, he has lost his speed ( it is visible from first glance at his movement ), and so on...

Still, we need to get 2 fullbacks, NOT ONE. One player like Zambrotta ( who is 32 and gotinjured a lot in recent year and a half ) WILL NOT BE ENOUGH. I hope Galliani will not make a mistake and rely on Oddo for the right flank. Or even worse ( if Zambro is to play RB ), for Marek ( who is cronicaly injured ), Sergio ( ex player ) and Favalli 8 ex player ) for the left... Milan needs 2 fullbacks. MArzoratti is not good enough - I know he is italian and young, but that doesnt mean he is good enough.

Sheva, Ronaldinho, Flamini, 2 fullbacks, GK - that is the mercato we need. And we need a bew coach.

I don't think those were the reasons he left us. Do you think his son couldn't get quality education in Milan? Why, then, all of Italian players do not go to London, because most of them has family, sons and daughters that need quality education. Or you will say they don't care enough for their families?

Anyway, it's sad to see him leave after everything he did for us. I'm still hoping he'll stay, but that seems highly unlikely given the way he's been treated recently. He's not and wasn't as bad as Spanish media made it sound. Last season he was the sole reason why we were equal on points with Madrid and spared us the humiliation of being the first former champion of Europe who didn't get past the group stage. This season he was injured a lot but when he came on, he looked way better than last season Ronaldinho. Hopefully, he'll find his football again in Milan where there will be less media pressure on him. I certainly wish you the best!

I can't find the link, but I certainly remember seeing a quote from Seedorf last summer in which he says he would give up his #10 for Dinho. There's also the chance that Seedorf won't be here next year....

Actually, Sheva is simply ... a married man: his wife probably told him "London or you're alone" lol, and like 95% of us in this case, he has chosen his wife.

Last reports say that Inter could waste our recruitment with Dinho thanks to (for them, because of for us) their current sponsor (Nike).

Someone (mrki) said that Marzorrati wasn't good enough ... I don't hope this way for next year, but if we don't qualify for the next CL, Marzorrati could come back and learn one year in Serie A-UEFA Cup with us, he is not a CL player yet, but if we don't go in CL, let's give him a chance ?? He will improve for sure if he often plays like a starter with us and could then be ready for CL games ... All that is only a probability, nothing else !!

Important news!

From: http://sports.pathfinder.gr/football...ly/610261.html (its at greek)

Gianluca Vialli today said that Didier Drogba had already sign with a new team from Milan. He also said that the team he had signed has 2 stripes on their shirt wich the one from the 2 colours of the shirt is black.

Well Vialli is playing a nasty game with us! So it is Milan or Inter!
Wow today we are having some great news!Lets see what else.....

Drogba-Ibrahimovic for Inter next season and Mourinho at the bench. That is the tipe of forwards that do the job in serie a.

So it seems Drogba is going to Inter and Amauri to Juve.

Next season if we gonna play with X-tree wich will be the most logical system with 4-3 Pirlo-Gattuso-Flamini-2 Ronaldinho-Kaka-1 Sheva/Pato/Ronaldo then why we gonna sign a new striker when we will had already Pato,Borrielo,Sheva,Ronaldo,Pipo,Oliveira? Thats too many strikers. Well if Pipo retire and oliveira be sold again we will have many top strikers!I can't see signing another one striker.

Proved in CL.

Thanks for the information about Seedorf's opinion about n10 shirt. I really wonder what number he's going to wear, it's hard to imagine him wearing any other than 10.

Sheva would be the best squad player we could have, he's able to play everywhere in attack. Of course we'll need to sign another striker, not just Sheva, I think Boriello will suit us pretty good on Gila's place.
Look, we already have 2 very good young strikers, Pato and Paloschi, who just lack experience. Until they grow, he could use some experienced players (so called "short term solutions") along with the youngsters. Pato will learn some stuff from Sheva, Paloschi from Pippo and after 2-3 years (when Pippo's and Sheva's careers will be over) we will have 2 young strikers with enough experience to lead our attack.
You know, the best way to have success is to have a mixture from the freshness of the young players and the experience of the older players.
That's why I think we could only benefit from Sheva's return.

I think 5 forward will suit us - Pato, Paloschi, Sheva, Inzaghi and Boriello.
I can’t imagine Sheva being a good squad player. He’s versatile yes, but let’s not forget what he’s doing at Chelsea, where he’s very poor and just a squad player anyway. He’s been awful and it looks like his shape has completely gone and confidence looks to be shot. Truth is, I simply don’t see how we can rely on him as a squad player (who must have the characteristics to do a solid job when called on, even if only a little). Our signings must bring a fresh mentality in Milan, to try and influence the squad positively for next season (the mentality of the squad isn’t great), and Sheva for me isn’t a player in a position to do that. I also don’t think he’s in a position to mentor Pato either, as he has too much on his own plate to sort out before he can think about others. Many of our problems right now are a result of big risks taken in the market, and we’re already gambling with a couple of signings (R10 and Zambro probably), so I don’t think it’s good to take more. To me it’d make more sense to recall Oliveira from Spain to try again in Milan than to get Sheva, as he’s playing pretty well this year, seems prepared to return and fight for his spot (he said this himself in an interview during the season) and has similar characteristics to Sheva (other than the power).

In addition, Carlo has made it quite clear he’s not positive about the Sheva signing, and although this phone call changed his mind, I’m pretty doubtful he has. Unless the management seriously plan to axe him this summer, I’m worried Sheva’s arrival could cause disharmony in the club.

As for this debate on this thread about him being a traitor, I personally couldn’t care less (especially if it was for his family) and I made my peace a month or two after he left. Whether we bring him back shouldn’t be based on emotional responses to his past at the club.

All this said, looks like we should be prepared to welcome him back (which I still will do) considering the comments of the management.

I also lack confidence in Borriello. At Genoa the team plays for him (this is evident in that he’s scored over half of the club’s this season), but at Milan this won’t be the case. Plus he obviously needs to play regularly, something we can’t guarantee at Milan. There is also the strong possibility he is a one season wonder. I feel we need a forward with his characteristics, but I don’t know if he is the answer.

We could give a try to this:

- Oliveira back from loan, I like to joke about him but I like this player actually, he can be an amazing striker, he was coming back from injury, had to discover a new country and a new club, had a lot of pressure from the club, the medias, the fans, and had also the problem with his sister kidnapped ... it is too much for one guy in only one year !! Let's give him a new chance ? The only thing I may be liking more would be a trade between him and G.Rossi ...

- Borriello back (so Paloschi with a 6-month-loan and again a 6-month-loan if Boriello does again a good year) or Paloschi more regularly a starter and Boriello sold

- Pato and Gila still there

-> Ronaldo playing in Flamengo for the end of his career lol, Inzaghi, I don't know, perhaps a joker role for next year, but this guy needs and deserves to play ... so I really don't know what to think about Inzaghi for next year.

Yeah yeah, you read well, no Sheva, no Drogba, no Berbatov, no-one new, and all free !! lol

After having read the last report on Ancelotti declarations about Sheva, I think he will come back now ...

He firstly laughed by saying that Sheva wanted to come back to learn again Italian language ... he said that he wasn't against Sheva and that he just said that Sheva has the same skills that Pato has. He added that it is wrong to say that he doesn't want Sheva to come back to Milan: he can come back and be useful ...

Ok, so we have to take this like a "Sheva is going to play in Milan next year" ...

PS: That means, no more chance for Oliveira ...

What amazes me is that the same people who want Ancelotti replaced, are agreeing with him regarding Sheva.

Ronaldo was in the same shape Sheva is now when he joined us, maybe evern worse.
Milan turned him around and look what R99 did for us. Sheva would have a point to prove to the team and the fans, meaning he would work twice as hard as anyone else.

As a squad player or super-sub he would be a smart move, if management see him as the only solution then yes we are back to square one.

What happens when Pato gets injured or assuming we sign R10 and Berbatov and they don't adapt quickly. Whose going to score the league goals? Inzaghi doesn't have the best serie-a record.

We are quick to call him a traitor etc.
However, how many people here are married? How many people here have made a promise to someone else, in front of witnesses and God to forsake all others?

Sheva made that promise to his wife. Unfortunately AC Milan fell into the "forsake all others" category and he moved for the well being of his family or what was best for his family, not for his career.

He sacrificed his career for his family. For that alone I would never lose respect for him, even if he returns and doesn't perform.

btw...Henry had to get divorced to go to Barcelona. Rumours are going around that he wants to return to England because he misses his daughter.
