But the difference is that it does not depend entirely on us. Fiorentina have to drop points for us to leapfrog them. So Inter, hopefully, will beat them tomorrow.

MYstik lol at least someone here is still smiling, lol that could have been the case u know!

the goal was onside, i know the rules well, trust me

and Hasan's right, if it comes to a one-off game, maybe we can do it. But we need Fiorentina to miraculously lose 2 of the remaining 7 games, while we need Milan to miraculous win 6 of their 6 games.

A chance of a miracle to happen is, say 1/1 billion, so actually are hoping for two miracles to take place, so for that to happen its going to be 1/billion * billion, but lets not forget, we also need a third miracle to beat Inter, so the chances are 1/1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, exactly.... Galliani would say we are favourites to make it, we have just won the CL..Carlo would say after our win vs Reggina "We are alive and kicking!"

The best part about Fiorentina is that they are still in UEFA cup that means that they have more stuff on their plate.

It's not in our hands now, we've given away the initiative. We can win our last five matches and still don't qualify for CL. But again, I'll keep supporting the team and cross fingers until the end.

P.S. Dd anyone else think Kalac could have done better on the first goal? While watching it live, the ball did seem to travel past him rather slowly.

Great match. Draw would have been better overall (not that i have complains with the win).

First of all, HUGE RESPECT for hitmannq8 and his objectivity.
Second, Jeff no hard feelings, but you're really clueless for defending Bonera. He ruined the match for me because i thought Sissoko had a broken leg. If Bonera won't get a 5 match ban then there is no justice. This tackle was the same as the one Taylor made over Eduardo. Luckily for Sissoko, he's made of rock.
The ref had nothing to do with the final score even though both he and his linesmen made few mistakes. There were few fouls not called, even though very clear.
And at the end, the ref rushed out and clear goal for Juve was disallowed. Del Piero shot the ball at the same time with the final whistle and that ball went in

This is what happened :
Remember Siena's goal against Milan earlier this season when all of you asked for offside on Maccarone ?
The same thing happened today. When the ball was passed to Bonera Inzaghi was way offside. He wasn't out of action obviously because 1 sec later the ball was passed to him and he scored.
It was clear position when Bonera passed to Inzaghi but Inzaghi was offside and he took advantage of the offside when Ambrosini passed the ball to Bonera.

Anyway, as hard as it is to believe, i hope Milan, and not Fiorentina will win the 4th place.
That was a breathtaking first half performance from your midfield. It's criminal if this midfield Milan has won't play CL.

P.S: And the linesman made a huge mistake when he didn't give a foul for Gattuso when Molinaro made a foul over him. It happened right in front of ref's eyes and the ref gave goal out for Juve.

I agree that Bonera has to be banned for the rest of the season, and honestly I would be glad if Milan fined him for that.. That tackle is the kind of tackles that end careers. After how Kaka, Ancelotti and Galliani talked about how Kaka is being tackled all the time and how referees have to be more fair, they have to do the same to Bonera.

Ofcourse, he sticks out his foot like I would do on Sundays play to stop the ball. Needed a better reaction with his hand or somthing. I understand he is a tall man but still he had reflecses there like a horse. lol

The Referee Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nobody noticed that Kalac decrease his level, now that he's not a replacement anymore he doesnt give his best IT Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the Way. A observation:

Milan can continue playing touch and touch in their area, i mean Football or soccer Calcio nowadays is faster that u cant risk the ball like that, maybe with weaker and unexperienced teams yes, but with big teams is a Suicide.

Damn i feel so sad

Now let's hope we can win Inter

NO Europe this time T_T

pirlo should be benched 1. he needs a rest and we can tell everytime when he goes out there 2. he needs to get his head together so many times he lost the ball while trying to make a decesion he should be one of the difference makers in the game along with kaka but he never is..the only problem is all we got on the bench is...........brocchi carlo will never play gorcuff

I know it's a bvad challenge by Bonera, and the red card is deserved, Tony. I bet, however, that if the ref did right with some of the scandulous refereeing since the second half Milan players would be much calmer. Bonera is inexp, though inexp is no excuse. What I am saying is that the ref is directly responsible for the heat. With two bad challenges from Juventus on Maldini and Seedorf yet nothing gets called, and another one against Maldini, Idon't know how players will be able to stand the heat when you are playing off-home AND need the point badly and ANY of these decisions could have changed the game.

Such is life. Lets hope that we learn from the mistakes we made this past summer mercato.

On to the next match for me, wont spend any time dissecting this game....

We lost, with the usual debatable ref decisions from both counts, and really, its clear that we were always at a disadvantage with the defenders who we could field.

Not upset about the level of effort on the pitch though.

FORZA MILAN.

Scudetto 2009!!

The ref toinght is just horrible in the second half, and has gone completely wrong. There are some for us, but most against us that is too critical too bitter to swallow.

Re: last goal by Del Piero: Take it if he wants it.

And here I was thinking that the game would be horrible...it was exciting, till Rocchi, from Firenze (to add up to the fire) decided to take a stand and support Juventus. Man, I'm through with this. It's true, we deserve to be in the 5th place for having the team we have, it's true we have deserved several things (results, goals) against us...but come on, it's ten times more impossible to try to go up when there's a referee taking against you...each and every single game.

Now, we started the second half sloppy...that's our fault, our fault was also making naive mistakes in a defense that is already in trouble for not having more players...but come on! Camoranessi playing almost full 90 minutes it's just robbery, he should have been send off before Bonera (who deserved his red card, and it's probably the only thing that the ref did ok, but what about Grygera who did a similar foul on Maldini earlier too? That's when you know there's something fishy); Juve's second goal couldn't have come from a clearer offside, and that "foul" that led to Juve's 3rd?

We are already in enough trouble by ourselves (and it's our fault, and I have no problem in admitting that, it's not like I'm closing my eyes to try to justify what doesn't deserve to be justified). And this has reached a limit, it is happening game after game!!!!!

BTW...Kalac saved us from being humiliated, if anything he is the one that deserves less trash talking. Could have done better on the first goal...but hey with bad defense, even Buffon looked a bit clumpsy.

Better that we didn't bring Paloschi in, he wouldn't have gotten any good ball either way (besides, didn't we made our 2nd sub till the 83 minute? If you are thinking Palo is some kind of Maradona, that will change the flow of the game in 9 minutes with 10 men and with Pirlo, Kaka and Seedorf dissapearing from the act, then...we got bigger problems than I thought). Same goes for Gourcuff (specially cause our 3rd sub came at the 88th minute).
