I am no genious at comparing and buying stuff but Dani Alves is a better buy than Zambrotta.

Zambrotta is 31. He's the better defender of the two and can play on both sides, which Alves can't do. He costs 1/4 of Alves and he's a world champion, so let's not start to bash Zambrotta before he actually plays. Unless you want me to save the message and expose your football ideas when Gianluca starts to burn both flanks

now Deco and Rafa Marquez sound as possible additions in a package with R10... several sources...just watched it on GolTV

I read some remarks about Deco...

My few cents:

Deco is IMO, the REAL reason why Barca won their title, not R10...the industry, passing, scoring, assists and yes, defending done by Deco won them several games...its always good to have players of R10´s quality, but he was the heart of the midfield, and we all know that its in the midfield where games are won or lost.

He is, when on form, the best replacement we could find for Pirlo, even if he plays slightly more advanced.

He is a complete midfielder, and if rejuvenated by milanlab and his "new" team-mates, I can only see him making a stellar contribution to our "treble" winning season next term:

Scudetto, Coppa Italia, and UEFA Cup

I would welcome the Portugese international with open arms, though I confess to being undecided about Marquez...who isnt really a bad player...

Marquez is a great CB, and very good playing "the Pirlo" position... only problem has been that this past season he had a few injuries... but that field of Camp Nou must have a curse, or a technical problem because everybody gets injured there...

as far as alves goes, i think milan are looking @ him, but its not everything that we do will be reported.

and i dont think he has anything against milan, and with this large brazilian body, i dont see why he wouldnt want to come. And we can afford him.

i also said on an earlier post that seedorf must leave if r10, is here, now goal has an article on it.

Seedorf MUST leave if ronnie is here, and we need a young(which seedorf is not) player to back ronnie and kaka, who is fast(which seedorf is not), and also realyy skilled on the ball.

as far as deco goes, im not really interested in us getting him. to me he is washed up and 30, we need some young players.

if you want a portugese look @ veloso and JoAo Mounitho, a DM and AM repectively, both are great, and play for lisbon. We have grimi, who lisbon wants, so i dont see why we cant get one of them. Veloso would also be great expecially if we dont get Flamini and Gattuso leaves.

Give me Deco any day...but for me, in Seedorf position he would do better...Marquez isn´t a bad player, but as a defender...no way!!!

veloso would be great .. he is technical excatly like kallstrom ecsept that miguel's right foot isn't totally paralyzed .. he is also tall and only 21 ... he is great !!!

The Perfect person to play in the midfield, is Luka Modric, Or Ibrahim Afellay, both can play anywhere in the midfield, and are young great buys.

Modric can back, R10 or Kaka or Pirlo or whoever else will be in our midfield next year.

i can also suggest we can carry brian lara, and kobe bryant to milan, i hear their both good @ football.
