Back after my short trip and even though the market is quiet, it sure ain't here.

Gattuso, to be honest, if he really wants to leave, leave u pitbull, since there is no point for us cheering for a gloryhunter like you. If he does leave, it really shows what colors he is.

For defender, I really doubt Alex will be sold since he is doing well at Chelsea.
My dream purchase for defense are Canna and Zapata. With Lucio being third.

There is something I think might happens is that Mournho is going somewhere and he does want to bring Lampard and Drogba and both of them wants to follow him. But if I am Chelsea, I will never let the players follow JM. Thus, if Inter did sign JM to be their coach, Chelsea will probably sell us Lampard and Drogba and who ever that wants to follow JM to Milan just to piss Inter and JM off. Wouldn't that be interesting.

I must say that if we don't get Ronaldinho, Galliani should quit and never show his odious mug in public. What a loser. Not that I would be depressed if we don't get Ronaldinho, but failure to do so will heap more shame on this ridiculous management. Why does this imbecile Galliani get hopes up? For one summer, I wish we would just pay a bit more to land some decent players. You see what happens? The management pinched pennies last summer, and now we are struggling to make the Champions League, which could cost us more in the long run.

Ronaldinho's move to AC Milan could be in jeopardy as the Italian club have failed to agree a transfer fee with Barcelona during preliminary talks.

The 28-year-old Brazilian playmaker, who has been linked to Manchester City, has agreed personal terms with Milan.

However, the European champions' chief executive Adriano Galliani told Sky Italia: "We had a conference call. The figures haven't fallen into place.

"Maybe Ronaldinho won't come and a main striker arrives."

Former world player of the year Ronaldinho has had a difficult season at the Nou Camp.

He has been dogged by injury and fitness problems, starting only 13 of Barcelona's 30 league games, and earlier this month a leg injury ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.

Milan need to boost their attacking options as Brazil striker Ronaldo is sidelined for a lengthy period with a knee injury, while 34-year-old Filippo Inzaghi is in the twilight of his career.

However, they face competition for Ronaldinho's signature as city rivals and Serie A leaders Inter Milan are also reported to be interested in the former Paris St Germain player.

Galliani said he did not believe Ronaldinho would be deterred by the prospect of playing in the Uefa Cup next season. AC Milan are currently fifth in Serie A, outside a Champions League place.

"Ronaldinho went to Barcelona when they were in the Uefa Cup. It happens to all the great European clubs, I hope it doesn't happen to Milan," added Galliani.

"Anyway, Ronaldinho is a Barcelona player, not a Milan player."

Just watched the highlights of Ricardo Oliviera in action with zaragoza where he scored 2 and assisted in 1. Looks like he's regaining his form and I think milan should bring him back next season. Wrt to ronaldinho - is Galliani so naive that he thinks he can sign the most marketable player on the planet at a less than hefty price ? For 35m pounds we can get a much younger Benzema !

it seems Barcelona demands 50m E for both Dinho and Zambrotta while we offer just 20 m euros for both of them.it will be really long mercato for us in summer market.

if we cant manage to sign Dinho,we should sign a complete midfielder and a striker like Eto'o or Adebayor or Torres or Berbatov.

our priorities should be world class gk and world class side backs before strikers,Kalac is not WC also considering Milan doesnt think Dida in the squad next year,Cafu,Serginho and Favalli should leave and we must rejavunate the side backs with Zambrotta and one more side back like De Silvestri,Lell or Corluka or Rafinha.

The more I read about this R10 saga, the more I believe we will actually land him this mercato...

The soap opera is playing out as predictably as they always do:

1. M indicates a love interest for R
2. R at first flirts, then says no to M´s advances, as R is happy with B
3. A whole year passes, with M still looking longingly at R, but no dice...R is "committed" to B
4. R falls out with B, and starts to flirt with M, as R is upset by all the younger more attractive people that B is so-called "working" with.
5. M and R try to get together, but B tries to win R back...or to make M´s life difficult, or both.
6. Finally, M and R do get together, leaving B to look for a younger, better version of R...or to play with the younger more attractive people B was already "working" with.

Plays out every week on ABC, CBS, NBC, or other free-to-air channels with soaps, on a tv near you.

Actually, Juve are simply looking for another attacker, not for someone to replace the current attackers.
With Del Piero and Trezeguet being 34 and 31 when the new season will start, and with Iaquinta obviously not being someone who can lead the attack, Juve are after another attacker of top quality who will be rotated with the other three attackers.
The priorities in serie A will be set higher while Juve will have to play at least 8 more tough matches in CL next year. That's why, just like Inter are doing, Juve will need 4 attackers of top quality.

Inter and Juventus don't have players like Kaka and Seedorf so they can't allow to play with 2 or 3 attackers during the season.

Ok, Hasan and hitmann....u guys are both intelligent, mature individuals, yet you seem to keep being upset by Galliani et al´s statements/activities with regard to our mercato....and I dont understand it.

Galliani, it must be remembered, says nothing without Berlu´s approval...puppet yes, unintelligent, no...Kaka, Rui Costa, MVB, Weah, $heva, Pippo, Pirlo, Seedof, Pato, etc etc, more than make up for the few Rivaldo´s, Simics, and Guglielmienpietro´s we have aquired in the past...so their track-record for me, in terms of overall quality of 20 years of aquisitions is still good.

Good ole "Uncle Fester" may have simply been telling the truth. We may have an agreement with the player, but as long as the player is under contract to a club, negotiations have to be successfully completed by the clubs, or, the player forces a move under Bosman, or some similar ruling in the past (where players over a certain age can buy out the remainder of their contracts).

Basically, R10 can buy out his contract and up and leave Barca for where ever he so chooses...so the most important thing is to have an agreement with the player, in this particular instance.

I am sure that Milan are trying to go this route as an absoloute "last option"...because of the damage it would do to relations between the clubs....and also because we are trying to get Zambrotta as well.

Its premature at this point IMO to make any judgement, or statements like:

...I mean comon bro! We have agreed terms with the player(s?), we now need to negotiate with the club..of course Barca didnt accept our first offer...they arent stupid either...and so we will haggle...I am sure we will...thats why they call them "negotiations"...and the window isnt even officially open yet, and I can understand Barca´s reluctance to confirm anything, with several important matches left to play in their season.

Bro...Galliani has told us that we were close to an agreement with the player..he has never mentioned being close to an agreement with Barca...I credit you with a tonload more intelligence than this post gives you....dont misconstrue things because of "what you want to hear"...

The bottom line for me is that the mercato isnt officially open yet, Chelski and Man City havent entered discussions with Barca either (as far as I know) so there is little, or nothing to worry about. If R10 has made up his mind to go to Milan, there is nothing Barca can do to stop him.

These are just ordinary negotitions. I don't know why some of you guys are flipping out in mid April.
This is normal in every market not only in football. Ronaldinho wants Milan and Barca knows that. We have an agreement with Ronaldinho and that has been confirmed. Now.....it is only normal that Barca will demand double than what we offer. In the end we will probably meet somewhere in the middle of both numbers.

What do you people want to hear from Galliani........ooo Barca is asking for a lot but we can find a solution!.??? Of course he won't say that and he will go to the press and say that "numbers don't add up, we might not get Ronaldinho, we might change our objectives." These are all things that will lower the price and the deal might not be done untill later on in the summer.

It's easy for us to say just pay the money or if not be honest whether you are going to buy him or not. But for Galliani and Berlu it's a business and 10 mil Euro does make a lot of difference.
