Im confident we will sign Ronaldinho, but even if we dont sign him, we cant let Zambrotta go to other club. To have him in Milan would mean great strenght on one of the flanks. Gattuso and Zambrotta on the right would mean no passing through

To conclude what Im trying to say, and Brasiliero also, beore I go to class ( aldough its raining and I really dont feel like it...)

Milan has a team that lacks at least 6 quality players, and if we want to have competitive team, considering that next year refs will probably be the same as this season, Inter and Juve will be stronger and so on...we need to invest properly. We cant fool uvrselves that buying Ronaldinho and Drogna will solve our problems.

I will say again: we dont need any new CB's for next seasn, we have Nesta, KAladze, AMldini, Bonera. its enough.

We need 2 new fullbacks and Ancelotti's game has always depended on fullbacks since we dont have a single winger. Zmabortta is one, and we need another one, I dont know who. Flamini can laso play as a LB, but he will refuse that for sure.

------------frey-------------
-zambrotta-nesta-kaladze-LB---
------------pirlo-------
----rino!------flamini------
-------kaka'---ronaldinho-----
--------------CF( Toni is my wish )----------

Depth is what wins scudetto. In this team we have Seedorf, Pato, ambrosini, Gourcuff, Jankulovski, Oddo, Pippo, Bonera on the bench, and that is the real team. If we rely on players like Favalli, EWmerson, Brocchi, Gilardino, Paloschi we can say goodbye to scudetto before it even begins, its clear. 6 new palyers is not too much for AC milan, even if one of them is Ronaldinho. We have some players to sell also: Oliveira, Boriello, Gilardino, Emerson, Dida... Sergio, Cafu, Ronaldo cant play anymore, Simic and Digao are useless ( aldough I love Adrio as a professional).

We have a complicated situation, but Silvio made it so by his own (non) reactions at mercato. To invest 100mln for palyers like Frey, Vargas, Zambrotta, Flamini, Ronaldinho, Toni is normal thing, as Bayern did this year. Milan's backbone is world class ( Nesta, Kaladze, MAldini, pirlo, rino, Ambro, Kaka', Pippo, Pato), but they play too much and the level of fitness is not right becouse of that.

News about 2 players Milan are after.
The first rumor is a complete BS one because Juve are not after him and imo the deal is done and the player will go to Milan for sure, but there might be some true in the second one, even though Blanc could have done it without the comment about Milan.

Juve consider Zambro return
Tuesday 22 April, 2008

Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta could be set for a sensational return to Juventus according to the Spanish Press.

The 31-year-old left the Bianconeri for Ł9m in the summer of 2006 after the Turin giants were relegated for their part in the Calciopoli scandal.

The Catalan daily newspaper Sport has revealed that Juventus have, along with Milan, registered their interest in taking the World Cup winner back to Italy.

The former Bari star has made 75 appearances for Barcelona in two seasons and has only a Spanish Supercup medal to show for it.

Zambrotta, who was made honorary President of hometown club Como in December 2006, has been itching for a move all season.

Milan are still favourites to sign the two-time Scudetto winner given that many Juve fans still feel betrayed by Zambrotta's hasty departure two years ago.

Blanc Confident Of Signing Flamini
Juventus managing director Jean-Claude Blanc says he is confident of pippin AC Milan to the signing of Matthieu Flamini, and reveals that the Arsenal midfielder was a supporter of the Bianconeri as a child.

It is looking increasingly likely that French star Flamini will be leaving the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old, who is now regarded as one of Europe’s best defensive midfielders, has still to sign an extension to his Arsenal contract that runs out in June.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who has given Flamini a deadline to sign up or leave, is now almost resigned to losing him.

Juventus and Milan are the two main teams tussling for his signature, but it is the former who are believed to be in pole position.

“We have the advantage,” said Blanc.

“As a child Flamini was a supporter of Juve. We have a sporting project in place, and we will be in the Champions League. Milan will not.”

Flamini, who has Italian ancestry, has stated on numerous occasions in the past that it is his intention to play in Serie A at some point of his career.

Interesting Tony, but it is just media talks in my opinion.

I do agree with you about Zambro as he probably signed with Milan and as for Flamini, I really think he is heading to Spain where the money is.

A few things on today's mercato. According to tribal, Braida
is looking to strike deals for Zapata and Pablo Granoche. Zapata is fairly well known on these boards but I presume a few may be wondering about Granoche. I don't know too much about him myself, but he's been successful in South America prior to joining Triestina in Serie B, where he's scored 5 goals in 7 games so far. He's a 24 yr old Uruguayan.

Looks like Juve are hot favourites to get Flamini, which I can believe could be possible as it seems he wants CL football next season and Zambro is also targeted by Juve (I don't see it happening tbh). Both have been sourced by Tony.

Finally, there's rumours (goal.com was where I read it) about Adebayor coming. Apparently us and you guessed it, Juve, have both shown interest in him. According to his agent, who spoke of the interest, he'll provide similar
qualities to Drogba, but at 24, has time on his side.

Onto discussions here about Dinho. I've said some of my thoughts about the Dinho negotiations in the thread dedicated to him, but figure i'll give my two cents on the argument over Galliani's comments. I think one factor that has been missed is the timing of when all the rumours sprang up everywhere along with Galliani's comments, both of which came around the time of the elections in Italy (as we all know Berlu has since won). Berlu has always used Milan for political gain, and he seems to have done it again, and I'm pretty certain that's why we heard such strong rumours of Dinho and Sheva. That isn't to say the comments may not bite him in the backside later on (should the deal fall through), or gain a stronger position during negotiations, but i think most likely the comments were to strengthen Berlu's electoral campaign.

This kid has been exceptional at Milan and however scored 8 goals until now and most of them were decisive for us getting 3 points or 1 pont, why we need to bench him?also consideiring he needs to play with regularity to be better player year after year.he is still 18 off course i also doubt if he can play as a wall in attack but he is the prince of the Ancelotti and i dont see him benching Pato.

also i'd rather to have a player like Aquilani or Moutinho or Hamsky than Flamini in first line up,Gattuso and Flamini same typee of players and however there is no need to play them togehter,if Rino leaves,i dont believe if Flamini is at his calibre to replace Rino,Only Toulalan and Essien is capable of replacing Rino if you ask me.

Our midfield needs a complete central midfield who can play 2 part of the game and have continuity, creative and quick than Flamini typee player,as Kaka Leite is less decisice when he doesnt find enough space, considering this factors,Milan had better to sign this kind of player.

Finally Zapata, hahaha, the people have finally spoken, now all I have to do is convince everyone here that Milan should sign me. It will be a free transfer, I will be turning 30, (just like Drogba), I am 182(tall), 224pounds(power) and I don't mind sitting on the bench. That actually sounds like one of those Galli's signing.

Back to Zapata, if he comes, that would be really great as it will complete the defense as it will allows Carlo to move Kaladaze back to LB. Thus, with Zambro coming.

Milan will have Oddo and Zambro as RB, with Bonera as emergency.
CB will be Nesta and Zapata with Maldini and Bonera as backups.
LB will be Janku and Kaladaze with Maldini as emergency.
And if Milan calls back that kid from Empoli and with Darrian maturing. Milan defense will be set. Well, if Milan sign Grosso, that will just be better.

No more comment from me from Flamini b/c I wrote about it half an hour ago.

As for Adebayor, I think he might be the one that people here will want instead of Drogba b/c he is younger and just as good. Well, I will be happy to have either one but I think Milan will end up with Drogba, as Chelsea would just like to piss Mournho off by offloading Drogba to us and Lampard to Juve.

Good points Dev....the first post IMO to make me have any doubts about my position on the R10 soap opera.

While I totally agree with u re Berlu possibly using him as a ploy to get more votes, I will continue to believe my version...until such time as its proven wrong (i.e. R10 signs for Man City etc.) while holding on to the more positive visualisation of a Ka-Pa-R10 trident in our scudetto winning season next year.

We are looking for another striker so that we don't rely too much on Pato, wearing his body out before he's even started maturing properly. Another reliable first team striker will allow Pato to develop gradually and also protect him from injuries etc.

I don't disagree that he said those things to put pressure on Barca (I said the same in the Dinho thread), but I simply think the main objective of the 180% comment was to help Berlu first and foremost.

Like you said, everything they say is pretty calculated.

I've heard today that Lahm from Bayern Munich have turned down a new contract offer from them and is set to leave. His contract runs out in 2009. Good alternative to Zambrotta.

Very good point, as far as Lahm, he is not a substitude but a player for line up...
