Galliani has confirmed that Flamini will sign a four-year-contract with Milan tonight.

And how is his wage? He is free and in superb form (only) THIS year but he is not special one. He doesnt deserve to be the top three highest paid in Serie A (if the post by a user is true).

I have to give you this news: Berlusconi said Ronaldinho is not coming.

I think the news was built up for the elections. I'm pissed off because this means the fans are once again cheated, but i'm too happy for the derby and the 4th spot to complain.

Many will say it's a blessing in disguise.

hmm... as i was suspicious when many people thought 'Dinho is surely coming, am i suspicious now, too...

i remember few times when Berlu or Galliani said that xxxx isn't coming, and eventually he came... for example Nesta, and i'm not sure, but if i remember Uncle Fester said something like that (that Milan give up on Gila) about Gilardino's transfer to Milan...

Naah, I think he's bluffing, this is a sign to Barca. We want to show them, that we don't need R10 at all costs. I think we're trying to low the cost...

I think its a blessing in disguise too. We would have to spend 10 million pounds plus his high wages.

That being said, I do want us to sign a big name player who would be more appropriate than dinho. Perhaps Drogba seems to be best available option.

Also, seeing Seedorf's play towards ending of the games, I feel we should start finding a young back up for him.

I am sure that with the arrival of Flamini, Gourcuff will start getting better. They both will be of help to each other.

No, please no. Milan should loan him or sell him. He needs experience by playing ton of matches and he cant have it in Milan.

Sammarco (Sampdoria) will probably come back from loan next season. He and Flamini will be the youth freshness injection many on this thread always asked for.

I disagree Don Gio, even if u r in Italy and I am thousands of miles away.....I think he will arrive, and that this is just a bluff as a couple people here also believe.

The translations may hav sumting to do wid it dough, as all the english articles I have read, quote Berlu as being "doubtful" that R10 is needed, rather than outright denying that he is coming...

Basically, this is not someone I will readily believe doesn't want R99...not yet.

After the euphoria of the fourth place, and a couple of weeks have passed, then things will be a bit clearer...

I for one would like to see Gorky given another chance next season, or loaned out if he won't get space in the side and time on the pitch.

I welcome Flamini's apparent emminent arrival, and look forward to seeing him in our midfield next term.

Gio: Sammarco...remind me of him....attacking midfielder, Italy under 21 or something?
Has his season been good enuf to warrant him being a viable option over R10? ....I honestly don't kno how good a player he is...

Not a good thought. Ibra is talented, but disruptive to say the least. I am quite thankful we never ended up getting him, he would have caused chaos in the dressing room.

As for R10, I think Berlu and Galliani are playing it smart. Unless R10 has a drastic change of heart and has developed a new fondness for the EPL or the blue color (Man City, Chelsea), he will end up with us for a cut price.
