its not, that i d not understand the concept of postioning, al i was saying is that he played well in that match @ LB, also Kaladze is a LB playing CB. if anything kaladze next season we may just need to play kaladze @ LB.

Alot of strikers are available out there so we should definitely be ending up with a good player..here are the ones that are rumoured to be on the market,

Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Saviola, Drogba, Sheva, Amauri, Boriello, Gomez, Berbatov, Crespo (??), Ibra (you never know), Adriano (I always wanted him here, still do)

The most likely that we will get is Ronaldinho, probably the best buy would be Sheva/Eto'o. If I was incharge I'd get Sheva and Adriano cuz they are cheap, and then Eto or Ronaldinho. However there is one player I want more than all of them but it is unlikely - Cassano.

Since gila is likely to end up with the viola,I think we should look for a swap between gila for montolivo rather than frey..since lloris looks more likely to be ours ATM..

Yes, I think it was against Cagliari. However, he's not anywhere near as effective on the left as on the right (especially going forward).

I doubt Inter would let us have Adriano, especially for cheap. As for Cassano, I don't think he's worth the trouble, I don't think he'll ever stop with his ridiculous tantrums.

with uefa being a huge possibility Guiseppe Rossi could be a option, using Oliviera as a trade maybe? Start to build a younger side while we can.

i actually agree, i think montolivo is a great player, and he is young, and would be a better swap.

rossi is also a great player, but he is playing Champs leahue next year with VillaReal, andhis game is in some way similar to Pato.

He's tactically crucial, that why Carlo puts him in the team even when he's unfit.
OK We can accept that he's good at holding up the ball. However I'm 100% certain we can find other AM's who do that PLUS MORE. If Seedorf is a starter next year we'll have the same problems in countering with speed. Also Seedorf barely does any play-making so Kaka has to drop even deeper to help him out. Is that what we need?

Ok, but you have to give names.
1. Who is better than Seedorf, and can realistically join us plus all the other players and investment we'll have to do?

2. What do you do with Seedorf ? Do you sell him ? Who signs him ? How much would you sell him ? How many moneys would you give him to break the contract ?

Let's reason on a realistic ground. If not, there are only empty words, like "let's sign a better player". What's the meaning of this sentence ? My question is : who is going to get Seedorf with his heavy wage ? who do you want to sign that can realistically substitute Seedorf ? how many moneys will you get for Seedorf and how many costs will you have to release him ? how many moneys will you have to invest in this position, given that we have more urgent position to strenghten ?

The only issue with Cassano is his attitude. We all thought that we could change R99...

At the risk of sounding rather obvious, and without taking sides in this lively debate, isn't R10 supposed to be his replacement/"sub"?

Good points Gio for Seedorf.
But if you ask me i would say.........He is a 32 years old midfielder! He can't play like he was 25-28!
And i would say that there are many many good players like him who can play better of him and be payed less than him.
If our managment see our players like their children instead of professional players then they would keep the palyers as old they are and pay them as much as they want renewing their co(Roanldo,Dida,Seedorf,Cafu,Maldini,Inzaghi)

I understand what Mystik is trying to say and i agree with him 100% about that.
And i will give you an example i can't compare Ribery with Seedorf.Ribery is a player with future, Seedorf is a player without future.
And if Seedorf is payed more than he deserves to, then is from the managment fault. They can offer him a contract that he deserves, and if he says no then a big club like milan can't cry of loosing Seedorf, then can find many players like him.
