Too bad really that w are not looking up for Vargas, to me he does look like really good player. Aldough it is hard to watch him in Catania since the players he plays with are not good enough.
I understand Gattuso can be changed, tactically speaking. But the spirit will be lost without him. Its not the same looking at Rino slappiung coaches after Milan wins and looking at Diarra playing well...Rino is Rino I hope he will stay in the end and Galliani will promise him new players and new challenge ( uefa )Ask fans that dont support Milan do the ywant Rino out - everyone will say YES. Becouse Gattuso is a brilliant defensive player and will always be a BETTER player then Diarra... Giovanni once said Rino is stuffed with the way club has been running in past years, and I also heard it from some Milan fans...too bad ![]()

read on an arabic milan forum that tuttomercatao has a report on Braida meeting with Diarra's agent as recent as May 3 in the Nice game. They talked about Diarra unofficially but Milan is yet to offer something to Madrid. I know for sure that Braida is a big fan of Diarra from his time at Lyon but he was too expensive, now that he is 26 and that Real is fully loaded with midfielders of high calibre, maybe we could sneak an offer. Diarra is certainly a very very very interesting player that would be an upgrade over Rino.

Dani Alves repeated his desire to leave Sevilla. Maybe we should make a move before Real or Barcelona grab him?

Vargas would be really good addition but it seems only us doesnt want to sign him.our options could be Sagnol or Pasqual,in a swap deal with gila or Rino.

If we buy 8 "star" players, how are we going to fit all of them into the starting XI? "Stars" don't want to keep the bench warm, they want regular game time.
If we change the starting XI overnight the first half of next season will produce the same results as this season. I agree with Geotav, small regular incremental changes are required, not massive clearouts. I also agree that Ancelotti hasn't done that badly in serie-a over the last few seasons. We must remember that the Champions league has always been the #1 priority at Milan, and again Ancelotti's record in Europe speaks for itself. Last season we managed to win the Champions league, and finish 4th after starting with negative points. This season we finished 5th after a disasterous start to the season, we were near the bottom of the log for most of the season. Despite all the injuries, lack of form, lack of goals we did relatively well imho. Our end of season performances highlighted just what Milan are capable of when the players who score consistently are fit and in form. We lack depth and another striker who scores consistently. Following stats for this season are from Wikipedia (probably not 100% accurate) Name App Goals Gila 30 7 Inzaghi 20 11 Kaka 29 15 Pato 18 9 Kaka, Pato and Inzaghi averaged +/- 1 goal every 2 matches, Gila didn't. Inzaghi missed most of the season through injury and Pato only played since January. Things might have been different..but thats a case of could of, would of, should of. We need a target man who is good in the air and can also average a goal every 2 games and if the other strikers also maintain the same kind of form and we close up the holes at the back, we could do well in serie-a next season. Just my 2cents worth |

Quite a few interesting rumours, mostly based on Galliani’s comments since yesterday’s match.
To start, Gattuso’s future needs to be discussed according to Galliani, and so he wants to find out asap whether Rino will stay. La Stampa suggest should Rino leave, then our primary target for a replacement is Diarra of Real (a player I’ve mentioned before after Carlo said some good words about him). If true, I would be very happy, the man’s a big time player, although it would be sad to see Rino leave. Galliani has also said that we will get at least one top star in each of defence (rumours suggest Mexes, I hope Zapata), midfield (Dinho?) and attack (my dream is Gomez). He’s also said he’s already started work to get new names in Milan since yesterday evening. His idea reiterates what others like Berlu and Carlo have said at the club, which is we want a competitive squad, both first team and a players on the bench. What’s positive is that everyone at the club seems to be in agreement with targets this summer, unlike last summer where there were a lot of mixed signals. All comments are on the official site. Lloris is apparently almost ours according to L’Equipe. The player and Milan have agreed on a 4 year contract, though I’ve had mixed messages about us agreeing with Nice. Some say we’ve agreed a price of just over 5m euros, others say no agreement is in place yet. Laporta spoke of both Dinho and Eto’o (I read it on goal.com), both of who we’ve been linked to in recent weeks. As for Dinho, he said he needs new challenges and his problems aren’t his party attitude (apparently he’s always been professional), but rather fitness problems. He hopes that he leaves through the front door like Rijkaard. On Eto’o he says that he leaves with dignity and in a good way. Both definitely seem to be on their way out of Barca. |

Regarding Naldo, I've never seen him play. Is he fast? I would assume that he is not considering he's about 2 meters tall. If my assumption is correct, then I say we are better off without him. We already have a relatively tall CB in Nesta and coupling Nesta with Naldo might come at the expense of losing speed. Better to couple Nesta with a smaller yet faster CB (someone of the Cannavaro mold) so that our backline is versatile enough to deal with both fast attackers as well as physical attackers.

I'm not 100% sure yet but i think Juventus have just signed Amauri.
12 m euro+ Nocerino+ one youngster who plays for Bari on loan Oh, and what's more important for you, Gattuso is staying at Milan. He confirmed it after talking to Galliani. Check Gazzetta's site.

yeeesssssssss!!!! FORZA RINO!!! Im so glad he decided to stay and Im also glad Amauri went to Juve becouse we need a better player then he is. He will be there in rotation with Trez and Del Piero, Milan needs first striker of highest class. Like Drogba.
