I would like that we loan Gilardino, not sell him, to Fiorentina, if he scores in the start of the next season, that will mean he will score a lot during the entire season because he will retrieve his confidence, and then, when he'll be the top scorer of the next Serie A with 25 goals, let's just take him back the following year, we will have a Gilardino plenty of confidence to replace Inzaghi stopping his career for example ?

Same case for Gourcuff with Seedorf (anyway, if we get Ronaldinho, when Seedorf will stop, Gourcuff will only be his sub, so probably the same problem again and again, he's in a position that will probably never allow him to regularly play for us like a starter) ...

GeoTav, I agree the loan idea allows us to hold onto our investment.
That being said, lets assume what you said above occurs, what prevents Gila from falling back into the slump he is in now when he returns because the tactics revolve around kaka/pato and our mystery targetman?

Liverpool have already signed Philipp Degen for the right-back position, so I doubt they'll go for Rafinha.

Milan's teenage striking sensation Alberto Paloschi will be sent out on loan to Reggina according to reports in Italy.

Paloschi looks set for Reggina loan spell, which is probably good.

Also heard according to Gazzetta the Balotelli contract negotiations apparently aren't going too well. I think if true we should step in for the guy.

seriously now, it's just another rumor, but galliani did say we are after 2 forwards...so it could be robinho+drogba or ronaldinho+drogba.... hopefully.

This blad man keeps counting Seedorf as a striker, what is the matter with this guy. Seedorf play on the right side of the midfield or as AM. I understand for Kaka to be counted as a striker because thats what he played for a while.

Now with the "Kaka upset with Milan" story (channel4.com) circulating, expect a whole heap of rumors to start circulating about him doing one to Madrid...Arsenal, Barca and any other team looking for attacking options in the midfield.

I think one name that we might be keeping under our sleeve is Maggio from Sampdoria. He had a great season and he impressed against us both times. I would welcome him and he would be a great addition to our RB spot.
I know that Carlo really likes him because he has made good comments about him a couple of times. Cafu is leaving and we need a RB besides Bonera. I really think that Maggio will come.
