Many here seem happy at Gila's probable move to Fiorentina...but I wished he would go play in Spain, where we would only face him in European competition.

I have a feeling this move could be a big mistake, unless we get a 20+ goal/season striker, who would be able to deliver that performance as a new arrival.

Those are few and far between, and I would prefer a loan deal, rather than an outright sale...

Yes it's a mistake, a big mistake, because like some here mentionned, he did well with Sheva, so with Pato playing better and better next year, Gila could have become again the real Gila ... some here say that it wouldn't have been possible because he played so bad these last two years, but with summer rest (not taken for Euro, so a real physical rest but more important, a psychological one), and no CL but UEFA Cup, it was really the year for him to come back to his real level with us.

He would have had nothing to loose if he had decided to stay simply because plenty Milan fans think he will never do well again ...

I'm so sad about this move ... anyway, he wasn't really happy in Milan if he accepted to move to Fiorentina and to be paid "only" (lol) 1,x M€ instead of 3-4M € per year.

i dont expect anything form Gila in Milan anymore, our team/coach/stuff didnt know how to make most of his qualitis visible on the field and that is it. In Milan he will never play well, its over.

As soon as Gilardino arrived we all saw and said that he palys too far from goal, that there are no crosses and so on...the confidence dropped, the touch has been missing and that is it. A player that scored 70 goals in 3 years I think cannot forget to play football. He used to score with overhead kicks, volleys, turning round players in the box and so on. In Milan he lost confidence in few months - its actually a record

Ciao Gila and now lets buy better a player, Drogba.

If anyone is to blaime then it has to be Gila. I dont know any other Milan player who has played so many games and failed so bad aswel as being booed by his own fans. He has hidden within his shell pretty much the entire time.

The same Drogba, who just got a ridiculous red card in what he himself said was the "most important match" of his career?

I dunno...but I doubt we want players with that sort of attitude @ Milan.

Can u imagine Berlu/Galliani/Maldini's reaction were he to do something as silly as that in a match of equal importance?

No question of his ability, but its his ego/mentallity that is of concern...and he would be idmissed summarily from Milan IMO were he to pull a similar stunt wearing our shirt.

Plus, he will follow Mourinho wherever he goes, and that's likely to be Inter, or stay @ Chelski if rumors are to be believed....so mayb there is nothing to worry about after all!

Further, after that display, I would really really b surprised if we continued to target him.

We just got borriello, he is milanista until 2013, for 6 millions euro plus antonini and di gennaro. Marco is the same mould as Gila but difference is that marco is more physical has pace and very motivated. Something gila never showed at milan

tuttomercato, Boriello is Milans again.

he is a good palyer, but CANNOT be our target man for the next season, if we do that we are crazy. I understand Pato is a player we are counting on, but to think that boriello is top class, aldough he had a good season is insane. And Pippo is 35 and half injured. But Im sure Milan will buy another forward, Boriello is a sub for Gilardino.

I think the same, another target man is needed....regardless of Boriellos good season, his always been counted as a great talent, and I think the first time that he had time and space(genoa) he showed what his capable of.

I`m happy even more now and excited to see how will he perform in Euro next month.

Overall I think we made a really good deal, and I love the fact that the management is on even before the window is still open.

P.s His girlfriends will be much appreciated among the players and fans....even the president

i have a felling our big signings for the attack will look like Ronaldinho+Drogba either Eto'o,otherwise another dissapointing summer mercato is awaiting for us.

No solid CB,No another Side back,no complete midfielder like Hamsik,no big name striker.indeed;what a perfect mercato

Borriello is good as 3rd or 4th choice but nothing more than that.in Genoa,he was getting great service and all other players would play for him and however he would be another dead man in our system.

Do you think if we can manage to win the scudetto next year with this mercato?if inter signs the players they want and upgrading their weakness with the likes of Eto'o,Drogba,Carvalho,Hleb,Konko,Lampard
it will be very very hard for us winning it in my opinion.
