Ok, so now we're losing players to Lyon?!?! Did we really try hard for this Lloris or do we have other aces up our sleeves?

Anyway, we're losing a 21 year old and someone in here suggested Coupet who is 36? And our other main targets are Zambrotta and Sheva according to Galliani, are we using our good old transfer policy and only signing oldies?

oldies and players nobody else wants too. es, can't wait to see cesar mess up in our shirt too. can somebody tell gayliani to f off already?

I will bet that if no superstars arrive, Galli and Berlu will blame that on not playing in CL. But did we won the CL last year and still no superstars arrive???????

For crying out loud, it is not even June yet and almost everyone is crying about not signing who and who. Look at the big picture, have Barcelona, RM, Juve, Violo(Gila not offical yet), Roma, Inter, Chelsea(One RB signing), Pool(One RB signing), ManU, Arsenal, Bayern sign any players yet. Even if they did sign someone, is the name of those players, R10, C7, Drogba...........

There are a few reasons why teams will not make any signing in the near future b/c, Euro2008, as a lot of players price will be increase up to 50% due to that competition. Therefore, if the owner of the team is smart enough, they would not sell their players till after Euro2008. Thats also include players who are not playing in Euro.

Don't expect a lot of signing till after the Olympics.

Beside, we really should not read into too much of what the media is saying, b/c most if not all of the reporters are as clueless as us.

I have as much faith in the MGT as ever, b/c I think missing CL and INTER winning 3 Series A in a row will really bother Berlu's ego. Actually, I was hoping Inter beat us in the derby, b/c that might actually really piss Berlu's off and he will spend crazy.

Over and all, the time that we are discussing this and that, Galli and Brida might be already talking with Vargas, Zapata, Drogba, Dossena, Zambro, R10, Gomez and Cigrani all together.

I am not saying I won't be upset if Milan signs players like Borreillo and says that we got our WC striker......but like I said, this is only May, relaz and save your anger come early Sept.

it's always been a tradition for those who sell the newspaper that the team who won CL will always reported related to departure of their players. now is United's turn on Evra. i dont think Evra will even close to our door in Milano. good news about Quagliarella and Zapata. nice choice for talented players. Ancelotti admires them. on Sheva case... better for Milan not to take him back. i want new faces here. and Sheva just not qualified for that

this has nothing to do with the timing, it has all to do with attitude, galliani and brida again stating they are not intersted in certain players because they are expensive, and this is not a tactical procedure to get there prices lower, it is the way it is, since that what happend during the last 3 years or so, i don't know if you were watching the mercato in the past years, but we all waited, and ended up empty handed, or with cheap old lad, i do beleive we will get zambrotta who is 32, and coppet who is 35, and sheva who is 31 - 32, because they are ALL cheap, we are not running behind big targets if they exceeded 20 M tag price, we become something like hyenas, who eats from the lions left overs, we will wait the big spending clubs to take the good buys, and if any one is left AND fitting our bill(which is not a fancy one) then and only then we will take it.

my advice to my fellow milanistas, don't expect much.

I think it's because there is a worry that clubs are buying players sooner nowadays to get the talented players before other clubs act and not have to panic buy towards then end, especially when there can be less high quality players available at a decent price.

Clubs don't want to sell towards the end of the mercato because it means it gives them less time to bring in a replacement if they need it and it can also disrupt their preparations if the player in question was going to be used in the season.

Milan on the other hand, we go last minute discount shopping like students on a Monday night at Tesco. Buying early gives clubs the most time to get the player prepared and use to their teammates, even if it costs a little more to do this. Whilst no targets have gone 100% yet, it is disappointing to see them linked with Milan and then sign for other clubs.

I think the most frustrating thing over the past few years is that Galliani and co say we are after x, y and z who we will never buy as it's a typical smokescreen tactic and then get emmm nobody useful.

Galliani and co should keep their mouths shut and just sign players we need or do like he did in the past ie getting Nesta after being linked with Cannavaro for so long.
