It's the few performances that he made when he got the chance that made him that highly rated....If you think about it ALL young players make their name that way unless they have completely mind blowing exceptional talent like Pato or Balotelli. I realize that this thread will take the same pattern of the Winter Mercato thread where the mods will generally try to pacify the frustrated users or make them look foolish for venting their opinions. I remember how some of the mods, Zlatanov in particular laughed at certain members' pleas for Torres, Sneijder and Quaresma. The end result is that each of the three is doing EXTREMELY well elsewhere. Zlatanov's only rebuttal is that the league they play is is far inferior to SerieA and that they would have still been flops in Milan. I will not continue to subject myself to people who try to insult my intelligence (or lack thereof ) all for the sake of defending management. I think I need a rest from this forum, because in truth no amount of ranting can bring anyone here. But the frustration results from others denying the dire situation that presently faces us and their subsequent attempts to make us look PARANOID. Zlat hugely disrespected many members last time, particularly mrki- who is just a passionate milanista- and tried to make us look foolish for our ideas. However the SAME players we wanted are doing soooo well that the joke's really on him. I notice this trend creeping up once more so as the bible says "before the quarrel bursts forth take your leave". I'd rather log out than quarrel and fight with my milan brothers. This is dru signingout till whenever

dru, no one denies that the team needs lots of new blood, not even the management. The thing right now is everybody is thinking the world will run of out of superstars to sign before the end of May or June, believe me that will not be the case.
The 7-8 new players will come and some of them will super stars and some will be less known.
We will get the improvements but it won't be 7-8 galactico signings and thats a good thing.

I don't expect any new player coming to Milan before mid-July, except for the ones coming from Barcelona (and I'm not sure).

The fact is that our management, as poor is it, won a battle against a lot of other big clubs to take Flamini, but none of the people blaming this same management talk about that.

So let's be critical: all is not perfect (it's far to be perfect), but all is not so bad too like some want to say here ...

I don't think it's what happens here ... for moment, it's just opinions vs opinions, unlike my English doesn't allow me to understand all lol ...

On the topic of taking a break or leaving the forum based on some opinions...Some make more sense to you or me and some don't. If one opinion is overwhelmed by others it doesn't make it wrong or right and there will always be someone who disagrees or agrees with it. If there are any personal issues, even involving mods, someone like an admin must be told and everybody will do their best to deal with it privately, but if its just opinions we are expressing its not a quarrel or a fight.

It's NOT about buying every star available....it's about buying what we NEED in this case it's stars. We are in a bit of a hole atm (ro haven't you noticed) and STARS are how you get out of the hole (see "Bayern Munich" ) Last year we could have just bought a couple reinforcements and have maintained our strength. This year the situation is more dire.

Most however have the potential to be world class. Oh and you can include Lloris to the list.

So nowadays, a player is not able anymore to want to come back to his first club, his youth club, all is for money ... but like I like to say, if the guy LOVES Barcelona, and if he has choice between Barcelona (let's imagine ... 2M € per year) and Milan (4M € per year), I'm not sure the guy who loves Barcelona would choose Milan. If everything was like that, Gattuso would ask to go to Munich ... Kaka' and Pirlo to Real, etc.

If the mercato is half (based on 7-8 players) concluded with Flamini and pick any three like Nasri, Amauri and Modric I am 100% sure there will still be some unsatisfied here and in every Milan fan forum.

I don't consider any of dru's transfers to fit the aforementioned criteria, but I am in a line @ the bank @ the moment, and don't hav the time to scroll and check who he put exactly...

None of those, have either moved, or would qualify for a Milan shirt, as I could name 2 stars for every player who could yet come to Milan.

The tv company of Berloscuni (Mediaset) says that Lloris will sign for Milan until the end of the week...

What I can't think right now is why the management still haven't signed any single player who is NOT super star. I know we have still long long time to buy all players we need but if we can solve the problems that can be solved immediately, it's much better.

We ALSO need some of NOT-superstar players and I think this is the right moment to buy these players and give us more time to deal with WC player's club. We have to buy 7-8 players and also to sell some of our players. We should't keep thinking that we have time and time as time will be gone soon.

About Flamini, Galliani co. deserved credits to make him Milan player but not the 'short time' needed to bring him to Milan as many clubs chased him and it's absolutelny normal and very logic that Milan had to deal it in a short time.

AMAZING: Barzagli joins Zaccardo in Wolsburg ... and his contract is "only" 2M € per year ... (drucurl, don't you think he could have earned more elsewhere ?).

Is Wolfsburg a top-club in German League and/or a strong club in Europe ??
