I think the fact that Inter won three Series A in a row will really hurt Berlu's ego. THats why he came out and said R10 will be playing in Milan with a powerful Striker(Drogba).

Someone seems to have problems with serie A players, he ?
Actually, Domenech isn't an ass like said Warro, he's what goes out from asses when people go in WC ...

Flamini was called for his first time, so it was sure he wouldn't be taken for Euro.

Trezeguet wasn't even called for the pre-selection of 30 players ... and it's true, I don't like Domenech, but why taking him whereas he never scores with France in Domenech' system ?

Lassan Diarra is Domenech's favourite ... so don't worry if he's always called in French NT while Domenech is the coach.

Gomis has taken "Cisse's place", he will probably won't play like a starter, but anyway Domenech wanted him because he can be called by Nigeria or Ivory Coast (or maybe none of them but another African country).

It's not a secret, Domenech and Mexes hate each other (there would have been a story between Domenech's wife and Mexes in past lol) ... and like he was injuried against Inter, he had an excuse not to take him.

Mexes has the same problem that Trezeguet, Pires and Giuly all have with Domenech ... and it would be, for Pires and Giuly, related to a past story with Domenech's wife ... it's so funny !!

Im kinda upset why we can't finalise 1-2 deal involving youth but hot prospect future players like Lloris,Cigarini,Zapata, while we already have 24 million Euros after Gila and Oliveira's sale. Lets say our board is so stingy that they wouldn't spent much. But hey with those sum we can sign Zambrotta and 1-2 talented players above.

Then, we can focus to purchase to sign world class players we need because I believe especially after Euro it will be hell of a battle for sign players.

Or perhaps rebuilding our squad will depends on who is our coach next season >

Do you know that Lloris can come ? We'll know tomorrow ... that's up to him to choose us. So ...

If I was Zapata, i'd have doubts about coming to Milan this season. I know I won't take the place of Nesta, and I don't think I can replace Kaladze either. So why leave now? Why leave a team that assures me a first team spot, heightens my visibility so that when an availability in a top team arises I can take it. That was the mistake Gourcuff made, and I don't think anyone wants to repeat it. Also, I doubt Milan want to pay Zapata the wages he would expect to get and only use him as a sub. You can argue that this is what happened to Emerson, but maybe the board is learning from that mistake. If they believe Zapata can be a starter, then Kaladze would have to be dealt with. Both are too good for the bench, so you can only have one to partner Nesta.

Edit: CB's and the GK are probably the only positions that don't require heavy rotation. The stability that comes with a week in week out performance, and the partnership that develops is essential. Having 3 great CB's is not a good idea. One of them will miss out and suffer. Competition is great, but so is stability. And you can't pay for too many great players.

Good point BRK, but if Zapata is sign, Kaladze can move to LB

Kaladze was a pretty good versatile player back in the day. Remember he started off as a left midfielder. Right now, though, he seems to have made CB his only option. Its strange that when Kala and Maldini play together, the older Maldini played in LB; a position that requires far more stamina and pace. That makes you wonder if Kala really has it in him, or if he refuses to play in that role anymore.

Well, true to that, but what about Flamini, I am sure one of Pirlo, Flamini, Ambro and Gattuso will be bench. Same case with Zapata, if Milan do go hard after Zapata, Carlo will have more options, such as two of Nesta-Zapata, Maldini and Kala. Also, Kala, I believe have the skills to fill in Pirlo's spot a game here and there.

Here's something to discuss: We don't need a Pirlo clone. That was the problem with the Dhorasoo and Vogel purchases. At one point the board considered Corini. Pirlo is irreplaceable. His talents are pretty unique in world football. The closest you can come to a comparison is Fabregas and maybe even Scholes these days. What the team needs is an alternative formation that does not depend on Pirlo.

Wings. Target man. Spread the small teams so thin their walls will begin to crumble.

The main formation is great. In fact, in my opinion, its the best formation in the world since its the only one that allows Kaka the freedom and space to dance his little dance.

Trying to plug Brocchi in there against Napoli is what destroyed our season. You can't replace Pirlo, so don't even try.

From http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/may28i.html

Galiani said for Zamrotta's transfer:“The difference today, just as yesterday, is £1.5m,” Galliani explained. The player wants to play for Milan and the Barcelona directors know that and I hope that a deal can be done.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a joke. These statements are making us a joking team and not a world class team. The difference is so litle and Milan wants the player.Barca wants to sell the player,we want to buy him, barcelona is not asking the big moneys and Galiani said the difference is 1,5m pounds and he can't find an agreement.Who are we Parma,Atalanta,Modena or Bologna and we cant solve that 1,5m pounds situation? For me the biggest problem of our club firstly is Galiani. And i don't know if behind Galiani is Berlu who tells him to make transfers but as cheaply as you can, and if you can't sign world class players less than 10m pounds then don't make any signs.I dont know what is happening with our team, and what they are trying to do for the future of that team. But those statemets from Galiani are awfull for our club.
As for his others statements about Eto: “As soon as you set your sights on a player they ask for £20m, £30m or £40m – the kind of sums that aren’t compatible with anyone’s budget.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Galiani is an idiot even Man. Sity who wanted Ronaldinho were offering as Barcelona wanted to sell the player, eccept us who wanted him in the half or more litle from the Man Sity offer. And in the case of Eto, i would say that if Eto is a world class player,if he is a proven player,if he is still in good age then he really deserves 20, 30 or even 40m because he is in the top 3-5 of the world for his role! And you know what,Eto really deserves that price!

My god i really wish that we can loose Ronaldinho,Eto,Zambrotta and Drogba because our manamgment are awfull. We are loosing many good players each year but our managment is making the wrong desisions on the transfers. When Bayern was buying Toni we were buying Ronaldo or Oliveira. When Barcelona wanted a LB they bought Abidal and we Favalli. We cant buy anyone and in recent years noone will want to come to us instead if we offer him big big big moneys not because he will love to play for our team!

From know i will never talk for anything unless officilal news, and i will talk only in 1 September 2008.Untill then i will say many times what these team needs but until 1 September i will never talk for any transfer rumours or any Galiani's statement.
The team wants the fans back to the San Siro to support our team, but with those reactions and statements they make us to go more away from San Siro.

And by the way Barzagli seems to be join Wolfsburg! My god! http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/may28j.html

Bye, bye Barzagli

Of course, one of them will be benched, most likely Gennaro. The second half of last season, he barely finished a whole game. What's up with that? Did he burn himself running his heart out all these years? Anyway, Flamini was too good to turn down. I'm sure if his price tag was 10-15 million euros, Galliani would have thought twice. I doubt he will start every game, unless Ambro or Gennaro suffer a serious dip in form.

Also, Flamini is a great way to start solving the Pirlo problem. Not by replacing him, but by allowing the team to play a 442, or a 433, with Ambro - Flamini behind Kaka, who was two wingers and a target man in front of him. Pato can work as one of those wingers, actually. He tends to like going wide to cut in behind defenders. Gennaro really sucks in this role that Flamini would be in, since his distribution is terrible. He always seems nervous with the ball, and tends to look to Pirlo to save his ass, or just pass it along to Oddo. Whenever he tries to do something positive, he ruins it. He needs Pirlo to survive offensively. Flamini doesn't, and in my opinion, neither does Ambro.

Good point, but I still think that Milan should go hard after Zapata as he does allow more options for the team

(More impatient childish rantings)

If the difference is so little, then Zambro is ours. If there was another team willing to jump in and pay that 1.5, then he would have already joined that team. Galliani knows Barca will sell, as they have no option. Eventually the teams will agree on a price. You need to cool down, bro. There's no shame in getting a good deal. I'd rather have a competent director controlling my team than a vain or insecure fool. Galliani is not an idiot. Sure, sometimes his declarations can be annoyingly optimistic, but when it comes down to it, he's a realist. We'll get Zambro. We'll get a striker. We'll get a GK. We are Milan, and you need to remember that.

Edit: Abidal. At the time, we had Oddo and Janku. No one would have predicted the Janku injuries, and Oddo's form. You're judgment is wrong on this because you're looking at it in retrospect.
