Moutinho is starting for portugal, that means he they also highly rate him, he starts over veloso and quaresma, so look out for him, the new rui costa. i hope he plays great to silence all you doubters, and renew milans interest.
Joao to the Werl.

I have always used the code that if any article (on tribal or channel 4 fi) has quotation from anyone other than any club's insider or any player's maid, dog keeper; it is reliable.

Moutinho's assist for the 2nd goal has a touch of rui costa in it. He certainly look decent and promising. I hope milan is keeping a tab on him.

I agree; but tonight's games are not very enticing in general. I'm looking forward to Italy vs. Holland!!

on the sources topic,
last year acmilan.com said that we got suazo, but in fact we didnt as inter was the team to get his signature.

Suazo must now regret moving to Inter, and looks likely to be on the way out now Mourinho has taken over. But that whole thing was handled badly.

We seem on the road to take Antonini from Empoli as vice-Jankulovski ...
To be sincere, I don't know him !! |

he and Abate were really good when Empoli played us. To be honest i think its good, hes a younger, faster version of favalli. At worst he could play some coppa and Uefa games.

So he would be a good replacement for Jankulovski (and eventually a better starter than Favalli) ??

Mercato off topic, but Alves topic: I was born in a city(Petrolina) that it is in the front of Alves city(Juazeiro)...they are just separate for a big bridge(and a river), and I can say itīs hard to be born in a family with problems(poverty) in our region. I was luck, my family didnīt have the same problems, and Alves has all my respect for to have win in this life, cuz I know itīs hard coming of where it comes. I heard several of his brother stories...as when his father left for the city of Juazeiro(Alves liveed in the agricultural zone) early morning to sell the little that he obtained of his onion plantation(itīs hard to be a little agriculturist in a barren ground, with a climate of 40°C and without money to work with irrigation), to earn some money and bring back food for the family lunch...yes, his brother said they didnīt have food in the house that day, and as his father only come back one day later, it was a 2 day without nothing to eat. His brother tell it was hard for him, but said Alves was always smiling, talking to him to not worry, that he(Alves) would be a great football player in the future, and they would not have the same problems with food or money in the future. Also, said to his young brother to close the eyes and just think about every good thing he wanted in the future, that he(Alves) would give it to him...and as his brother said, this helped it to forget the hunger. His brother said more heart touching stories, but they are long and off topic to be posted here, but this quote of Palop(Sevilla GK) I read today in Diario Sport shows a lot about the type of professional Alves is: http://www.sport.es/default.asp?idpu...icia_PK=516734 “Pocos laterales hay en el mundo tan completos como él. Es incansable como demuetsra el hecho de que tras los partidos se entrena con los suplentes para hacer más horas. No le duele sacrificarse por el equipo y le encanta el trabajo físico”. For the ones that donīt know spanish, Palop is saying Alves is untiring, and after the games, he train with the substitutes to have more hours of pratices...maybe this explaing why he was the only one to play all Sevilla games(Spanish Cup, La Liga and UEFA Cup) in a season without any injure. Sure Alves isnīt more a reality for us, but thereīs no need to the unfair statments and lack of respect showed against this amazing player(and person). At least for me... cuz I really wanted to see Alves(the best RB in the world) in the right and Zambro at left in a Milan game ![]() Last edited by Brasileiro; 08-06-2008 at 01:02. |

![]() Brasiliero, how did Pato play against Venezuela ( if Im not wrong ), 0:2 it was? P.S. also, I would like to say this, after I seem to realised it: Galliani had a signing of Buffon - Berlusconi didnt want to pay 40mln, he ahd Toni last summer - money didnt come from Silvio, he had Ribery - money didnt come. Now he claims he has Ronaldinho - Silvio doesnt want to pay more then 15mln, ysesterday Bronzetti said Milan has spoken to Eto'o and its all ok, not its time to talk to Barcelona...Im also sure Milan and Adebayor have an agreement as well... So, mr. Berlusconi should start and invest some money for at least one normal transfer.
