Barcelona has played brilliant football with Ronaldinho-Eto'o-Guly/messi.

From what I can "see" an attack consisting of Kaka'-Eto'o-Pato would be extremly flexible position wise, and the fastest tridente in the world.

its a tactical question or attacking variations, but I think we need to choose our forward carefully as the rest of the setup will depend of it, and not slightly.

I will stay with my statemant that Dani Alves is the world's best right back, and the price Barcelona payed for him does not have anything to do with my statemant as I've said it way before this transfer happened. Simply, from what I can see from him I cannot see from any other player in that position, except from young zambrotta ( which is past ).

Zambrto is an EXCEKLLENT purchase by Milan, no doubt dough, my dream transfer. But we were talking about Alves, and I stand by the claim that HE is the best right back in the world.

Now Im off to the pub with my friends, Croatia plays in 2 hours!!

P.S.

What Tony29 said about Srna is 100% true. Absolutely a player that can play in top clubs, and would even improve more there, but that could be an minus of ambition or a greed for money...I dont know. Shame dough, he is a good palyer with spectacular crosses and fighting spirit. ( not a natural fullabck dough, cant defend as he should be ).
i cant wait for the croatia match, i want to see kranjcar and modric in action. croatia would have been one of my favourites behind only Italy and holland, if eduardo da silva wasnt injured, but i still wish them the best.

oh i forgot to add simic, the centurian.

do not expect an LB signings, as Anotnini is here, maldini is back, marek is still here, and also favalli.

however this thing about no Portuguese is ubsurd to me, why not, did they not see Moutinho yesterday, do they need to see him play some more or something?

Besides technically brazilians are portuguese.
to me it is a lot better to attempt and fail, as we did with r10, and many other players like berba, hopefully drogba (i still dont like him), than not to try at all.

the only reason i see them not going for a player like moutinho is if they are going for someone bigger like maybe silva. which to me even though silva is great, i still think moutinho is a better option, as silva will demand alot of games, and would preferbly be a starter, making playing two striker next to possible, im sure that moutinho would mind come of the bench in his first year, as long as he get opportunity to play. He is the perfect replace ment for Rui Costa, as even though i like seedorf, he is still not a legit number 10.

Brasiliero, how did Pato play against Venezuela ( if Im not wrong ), 0:2 it was?

P.S.

also, I would like to say this, after I seem to realised it: Galliani had a signing of Buffon - Berlusconi didnt want to pay 40mln, he ahd Toni last summer - money didnt come from Silvio, he had Ribery - money didnt come. Now he claims he has Ronaldinho - Silvio doesnt want to pay more then 15mln, ysesterday Bronzetti said Milan has spoken to Eto'o and its all ok, not its time to talk to Barcelona...Im also sure Milan and Adebayor have an agreement as well...

So, mr. Berlusconi should start and invest some money for at least one normal transfer.
Yep, Messi and Alves will be scary...Btw, people puting Alves and Contra in the same sentence just because both won UEFA Cup must be joking...Alves won the titles being the MVP of the UEFA Cup, and MVP of the finals...tell me one RB name that was chosen MVP of a BIG tournament?? This is what makes Alves unique as you said...heīs a playmaker, and as Sevilla coach(Manolo Jimenez) said yesterday, heīs a Rb you can build a team around, because he organize a entire offense(but also can defend).

Regarding Pato against Venezuela: imo the boy was one of the best of the first-half(Brazil played poorly). He did some kakáīs runs pasting for several players and was always a threat with the ball on his feet...Pato was better than Adriano, but the dumb Dunga take him off after the first half:
Itīs incredible how brazilian media is hyping Adriano for nothing. He was poor against Venezuela and Canada, but was given more chances than Pato
Thank God Luis Fabiano come back for the games against Paraguai and Argentina!!

On a side note, against Venezuela Anderson played at the famous "Seedorfīs role" at the left of Brazilīs midfield and not as a DM like in Manchester...and after to see he playing, Iīm still more convinced Anderson was the only one capable of to play like Seedorf...with that amazing combination of power and skills. Itīs a shame SAF is playing him only as a DM...

BTW, can someone describe this player for the ones that never saw a game...

Antonini is an ok player. I think he will be possibly a bench player.

This is the problem, payne...
I canīt see a young AMD wanting to be a Kakaīs backup. Kaká is a monster and play most of the games, so I canīt see young guys like Moutinho and Diego coming to be a backup in the most of the game...who knows?!?!

Srna? I can understand you are frustrated for some reason, but I never mentioned Srna in this mercato thread.

And that player has FAR, yes - FAR, less quality then Alves, which is obvious. that is why Alves has signed for 32 mln for Barcelona and he is in Zenith. Lets not lie to ourselves.

Why am i frustrated? Could you explain that to me.

So you're saying that any player that doesn't sign for a club like Barcelona and for a price of around 32 million that they must be low in quality? Srna is at Shaktar Donetsk and doesn't look like leaving for a figure of that amount, so he must be of Far, yes - Far, less quality than Alves. Your logic, not mine.

Jeff, i don't get why Channel 4 or Calciomercato are bad sources (in terms of reliability) for news and Gazetta/Corriere are ok sources for news. The former just take their articles from the latter.

Tony29, is it true that the clubs you mentioned in your previous two posts pay more money than clubs like Inter, Liverpool, MU?

I still doubt it. Can you post their wages (like Vidic, Skartel, etc) with russian clubs or other clubs in countries you mentioned?

A Milan youth system LB who has been out on loan for many years at various clubs. He's a pretty decent player but nothing outstanding, though his attacking contribution is usually quite good. He impressed against us earlier this year, which is probably why we brought him back.

Essentially, looks like Vargas definitely won't come. More so my fear is the thought in the club is right now that Zambro will be RB and Janku LB. I much rather hope to see Bonera on the right and Zambro down the left.

When did we ever really play Sheva-Rui-Kaka?

He is 25 years old but still he is owned by Milan, how could it be? Do Milan always renew his contract and he accepts it even he never plays for Milan?

I am often confused about the ownership of primavera players in Italy. They are owned by their primavera clubs for many years (not just 2-3 years).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I suppose calciomercato comes up with their own news pretty often while Gazetta/Corriere did not?

I agree that Channel4 doesn't fabricate as much.

The goal of the signature is to raise people's awareness that not all sources are reliable.

well, not only a back up as he should play uefa cup games, in order to give kaka a rest, as i dont want him to end up like last season, and in coppa italia, and he can also get the start against lower position teams, what i mean is we need to incoporate a better rotational system, as that one of the reasons gourcuff left, he want getting game. look at barca, the got both gio and bojan in rotation, and even madrid got Higuain in there games.

Plus im sure there will be sometimes we go back to 4-3-2-1, and in that case moutinho can be a starter.

Antonini is back at LB, from the games I seen, he is pretty good, and since Italian players are usually late boomers, I am hoping he is also a late boomer too.

Whenever I've seen Antonini play for Empoli I'm pretty impressed. While most of the Empoli team did not defend well, he usually tried his best, and his performances are rather impressive. AC Milan lends out youth players to gain experience. Sometimes it takes longer for some players, but whatever it takes. Yes, most Italian players are late bloomers... like Luca Toni for example.

I think Antonini is a very impressive player to bring back and he can contribute greatly to the team.

My remaining list: Christian Zapata, Oscar Ustari, Mario Gomez... but Drogba seems to be more likely now.

Zapata has to be a must, as is great GK and a good all round forward. That would leave us with needing to get a player who can take Seedorf/Kaka's role when they are rested.
