I don't think he had the best of games to be honest like quite a few of the German players. He was involved in the build-up to the goals which is good but other than that his performance was not sharp as he can probably produce and he wasted a few easy chances.

Not too reliable, if I'm honest...
Btw am I the only one over here who would rather see Benzema, Torres or Eto'o than Drogba at Milanello?

I (want to) believe our next transfers will be:
Maggio (within the next 3 days) Drogba (within 10 days) CB (end of June) Ronaldinho (end of July, beginning of August)

Thanks for the replies to my question guys.
@hitman Some of fans here including me wrote in our previous post that he didnt have a good match. @slicknick There are many fans here who also think like you. For me, as long as management can take one of strikers they've already mention, I would be happy for that. |

It's what we all think right here (if not, why are we there speaking about what could be good for our team ?). The fact is we don't know exactly what would be good or perfect for our team, if we did, we would be gods (I refer to the "religion" word) or at least professionals working in Milan ... I don't think you are, nor me, nor anyone else here. So your opinion is not better than someone else's opinion, mine is not better than the others, the others are not better than mine or yours, but like I said, we are all sure that our opinion is the best for Milan, we're just human beings. |

tribalfootball isnt reliable but
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso has welcomed the interest of AC Milan. The Portugal international told Corriere dello Sport: "There are talks and a chance to see me in the Rossonera jersey. "For me, it would be a dream. I am a cross between Andrea Pirlo and Rino Gattuso."

On a day where we're all looking forward to the Italy game tonight, I thought I'd put forward the names of players I think (or hope) we'll sign (based on reliable sources such as goal.com and a variety of newspapers
)1 Christian Maggio - I guess we'll use him as a right-sided Serginho, to provide cover at right back and enable to play with a real right winger. I'm still undecided on where he'd function best. 2 Center Forward - It seems from reports in the English media today that Drogba's our man. IMO not the ideal choice (if true) but then again you can't really complain. ^These two I'm almost certain we'll sign. 3 Central Defender - With Maldini's renewal and the possibility Simic will stay on, I'm not completely sure wether or not Nesta will get a new partner in the center of defence. The Matteo Ferrari-link has resurfaced, I think that if we sign a central defender it has to be someone for the starting XI, preferably Zapata. 4 Goalkeeper - After Lloris chickened out and joined Lyon, there hasn't been much talk of transfers. I'm still struggling to imagine Abbiati in front of our goal...Of all the goalkeepers out there (those who are likely to move anyway) I think Boruc is the best choice. He had a fairly good game against Germany last night, but I'm not completely sold on him. Man, we should've signed Buffon back in '06 ![]() 5 Ronaldinho - I sense the support for this idea is dropping in this forum, just as the reports linking him to us are fading. I still want though, and I just can't see him joining Man City - Pleeeeeease Berlusconi don't let Ronnie ruin his career by going to England, remember how much you were willing to pay for him last summer, now it's a quarter of that, Pleeeeease give us R10. |

if we sign maggio then
on right, we have Oddo Zambrotta Bonera Maggio On left we have Zambrotta Antonini Favalli Marek we dont need four WB's on each side, its best we sell two, one left and one right. imo, oddo and favalli.

What is the big deal with a victory over juve with that formation once although i can't be certain even that is true as i remember ancelotti only flirt with that formation for a short period of time and rui costa is the one used as RM. Moreover how many teams did we kill with 4-3-2-1 formation? Even Lippi used that same formation with italy to win the WC in 2006, enough said. You can argue to death the formation but its still gonna be 4-3-2-1 or 4-3-1-2 next season. Its how we built the team around it. The arrival of Flamini only serve to further confirm the formation we are gonna use next year. |

If zambrotta is on left then he can't be on the right. Bonera should be played as a CB IMO, Bonera with Nesta sound good to me. If we get 1 more RB, then oddo can leave but who would pay for him?

Well, a flat mid can spread out those defensive teams and make thing easier for us. Our diamond midfield is better against those big teams who dare to come out of their defence.

To start from yesterday: I hope you all realised that I was right when I was saying that Gomes in not the class of Drogba, Adebaayor, Eto'o...he is just a very good player that scores in Bundesliga, not much more. Could be a good signing for Napoli for example. Not for Milan.
Giancarlo you are italian ( if Im right ? judging by name ) and you know Milan and serie a well, but, dont be offended, Maggio, Empoli LB ( I can never remember his name for some reason ! ), and Abbiatti are NOT FANTASTIC PLAYERS. They are good and experienced players that canhelp our squad in rotation - with necesarity of being surounded by great heart of the team as Pirlo, Rino, zmabrotta and so on... those players are not expencive and can help us in a long and exausting season, and Galliani has that in mind. To have MAggio would be ok as this year we had palyers likeBrocchi and Emerson, Cafu - who are 200% useless. And Oddo who is 350% useless as well aldough he is not old. MAggio's advantage is that he can play well in midfield also. but to say he is a fantastic palyer is wrong. Zapata is on everyone's mind, but with Maldini staying, Nesta, Kaladze...who knows, maybe we just sign Ferrari for 0 and Simic leaves. Boruc - there are reports in Croatia that Simic will leave for Celtic, I hope we can include him in Boruc deal. We have made many mistakes in selling players without getting involved in some deals ( Stam -Ajax, Rui - Benfica, Abbiatti and so on - Atl. Madrid and Torres - HUGE mistake, Sheav - Chelsea ( Gallas ) ). to conclude your list, it could look like this, if youi ask me: Boruc Maggio Empoli LB Zapata Zambrotta Flamini young midfielder CF Boriello ------------------------ that is not too much for Milan. P.S. EURO And after Croatia palyed PATHETIC football, thanx to the fact that 2nd best rated by the papers player of Duch league, AHEAD of Huntelaar and behind Heitinga, Pranjić, who scored 9 and assisted 10 goals, plays as a LB in our team, not LM as he needs to. And the slowest, most pathetic and overrated palyer EVER in universe, Kranjčar, who is not even a professional player by the ammount of phisicall running he makes, palys as a midfielder and constantly making our midfield suffer and not protecting fullback or doing anything forward... I went mad almost when I saw he cant run in 35th minute of the 1st half - horrible palyer. The thing that he can rolle the ball once in 90min means s.... for real football. Meanwhile, Rakitic sits on the bench. Now I wait for Italy to see our Pirlo, Rino and ZAMBROTTA I put a bet on Italia to win EURO, the same thing I did before the start of the 2006 WC.

i dont think 4 or 5 good players will join milan in this remaining summer mercato.
i'll feel satisfied enough if we sign 1 decent center back plus 1 world class striker. that's it ! ![]()
