If Milan sells two or tree players for around 30 mln, which he did, and dont invest all in all around 80 mln, which in only 50 from MIlan and 30 from seling players, after 4 years of poor m,ercato then it really is disrespectfull towards people who buy tickets, tv cards and so on... Its not about money numbers, itzs about something else - loyality from BOTH ends.

Bosingwa is also a great player as a RB, we could have signed him....

Adebayor is a good option, he is a great player that is young and has phisiscal presence that can hurt any possible defence in the world. We all saw how hard it was evben for NEsta to play 1 on 1 duels with him.

Things are now actually quite simple: we invest and paly for the scudetto or we dont invest and pretend to play for the scudetto untill christmas and -20.

The point is that we won the CL two years ago and that is about an extra 60M revenue comparing to not winning. And yet, Milan still report a loss of 25M??? With a total signings of 20M in the following transfer season. To me that just does not add up.

The other thing is that I believe all clubs are running in the red, even Real or Barcelona or ManU, or Arsenal. Yet, ManU spent 15M on Nani, 15M on Anderson, undisclose amount on Tevez and around 10M on Hargerves. Thats like 40M and they were only semi-finalist.

What I am saying is that, running in the red is a normal thing for teams. I for one actually would rather see Milan sign 4-5 solid players to stregthen the squad instead of signing one superstars where still leave holes everywhere on the team.
Yah, so eventually who is going to pay for the debt? You? If you are then we can start talking, if not then don't think you have a right to demand this and that, same goes for everyone here.

Man U is hundreds of millions in debt. Real madrid is funded by the royal family, the spain government basically pay for them. Arsenal is feeding on the huge avertisement fees from their stadium to use the emirates name. Barca is probably in debt as well, not sure about that though.

Not to mention inter who operate at a loss of 180M a year.

Seriously, i think european football has reached an unhealthy state, remember how italy used to have 7 strong teams and what happened to a lot of them.

Your so called big money is not enough to pay for the starting 11's wages. You know how much are we paying our players?

Boruc (one new GK, optional), Zapata (one proven DC, a must), Hernanes (creative MC) and Drogba/Adebayor (one WC striker, a must) would make me happy with transfers (plus Ronaldinho of course, this player must be bought by Milan. I cant deny it). A new decent fullback would be a bonus.

Speaking of our non-EU spot...do we have any idea who if anyone it will be used on?

Is Hernanes the only name mentioned now that Sheva looks like he isn't coming?

In truth I haven't even heard Hernanes name mentioned for quite some time.

Quaresma: Ho firmato per un grande club
(I signed for a big club)
Quaresma doesnt specify the name of the club, but we all know it's AC Milan...
----
it is probably Inter. and rumours have mentioned 40M, that's more than our transfer budget LOL.
But, ignoring his ability, how hilarious would it be if we signed him, kept it secret and revealed it later...

Interesting article regarding management's handling of the summer transfer market. Asking some patience from fans as it's still early.

http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=1880

I also seems as if Ancelotti wanted to get Zapata...but might have to settle for Ferrari.

http://www.milannews.it/index.php?ac...idnotizia=1881

Note: Translator needed, as both articles in Italian.

Our management could keep that a secret...they'd be bursting at the seems and let it slip out through the media.

It's most probably Chelsea, although there is a small possibility that is could be Inter.

Our wage bill is really high, thats one thing.
For the foreseeable future no one can compare EPL teams to Serie A teams, the reason top EPL teams like ManU have any debts is because of the way their current buyers financed their purchase but otherwise their (TV and other) revenues are much higher than Serie A teams.
My point is for the time being if we are making mercato comparisons we should be talking about other Serie A teams (and may be La Liga teams to some extent)

With regards to the above there were rumours awhile back stating that Liverpool had loaned money from the bank to purchase Torres and Babel.
They also had to repay said amount back in a very short period of time otherwise bank could have forced the sale of Torres/Babel

As mentioned, were rumours so not sure how much truth in it etc

Lets assume there is fact to it and worse case scenario happens. Bank sells 2 WC players to settle debt, leaving club with 2 vacant spots and no profit to show from the sale. Doubt bank would reloan money for new players.

I think its a good thing that Milan doesn't conduct business this way.

Chelsea join Cigarini chase: http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/jun12i.html

Other clubs involved include: Juve, Napoli, Genoa and Villareal

I wonder if now that another big club is after him he'll become a good enough player for Milan as at times in this thread that seems to be the defining property for good players.

The good one is that i had a lot of time to hear about Sheva coming to us.
I just don't know... he seems so wasteful with shots... and it's been said that Arsenal has had to deliever balls to him many times for him to score. And most of his goals came towards lower teams like Derby County this previous season.
