That's how I see it.

It's worth the risk. I can't see us signing him hurting us as much as not signing him would. It all comes down to price...which is why I'm forcing myself believe this is mis-direction.

2 years of negociations and a blown transfer window for nothing.

If Kaka's knee doesn't heal properly we're screwed. If he (Kaka) picks up another injury who steps in to take his place?

Having him on the team will create so much space for others, and bring some much needed creativity.

AND HE WANTS TO COME!!!

Yes someone to fill that attacking midfielder position might be a good idea, but I think I want someone who is a bit more fresh than Ronaldinho. I hear Kaka's recovery from the operation is going very well... he should be fine and it was a good idea he got it...

He's a spring chicken according to your view point that members of our team aren't that old.

I wasn't talking about the position that he fills... I was talking about defenders.

20-25 Million is what Barca should be releasing him for...the problem is that Man City is matching Barca's first price tag of 40 Million pounds give or take (I think.)

But in that article I quoted it seems like our management believe that Barca is an "expensive shop" and I agree with them. I surprised Barca is playing such hardball when Article 17 can be invoked by the player.

This drama is not going to be finished until the final days of the summer.

Chelsea with the purchase of Scolari may now have been given a lifeline to
R10.

Do we really need a striker or a defender?

Finish Club GF GA
1st Inter 66 38
2nd Roma 72 37
3rd Juve 72 37
4th Fior 55 39
5th Milan 66 38

Now what do you guys think?
Goals from attackers.
Kaka:15goals in 30starts-30games played
Pato:9goals in 13starts-18games played
Pippo:11goals in 14starts-21games played
Gila:7goals in 20starts-30games played
Seedorf:7goals in 31starts-32games played
That's 49 goals of the 66 out of our attackers.Let's say Borriello will do the same as Gila for us,which alot of you guys don't want hear. But when you look at it with a 18year old Pato just starting his career,a season that Kaka who was not a 100%,a frustrated Gila and a aged Pippo.I really don't think we need a superstar at striker. What Milan lacked was another creative player that could support Kaka on the wings.
What really hurt Milan last year was not the attackers as much as players like Janku being hurt most of the season and finding zero for a replacement,Oddo hurt and declining form and also no help in a replacement. The reason i targeted those 2 players was they where not only really good defenders, but also gave Milan the wing support the team need.

I would like to ask Mrki about a player that i saw today in Croatia 2-1 Germany.
Firstly i would like to say well done for your NT Mrki they played very good football against a team supposed favorites for the EURO.
Modric is a great player i wont ask about him, we all know him very good from now.And if he was a tall player then he would make wonders in every game.
I want to ask you about that RB Vedran Corluka who plays for Man. Sity. That guy played superbly today and impresed me a lot in defence,in attack, his passes, strenght,in air,........he is a very good RB.But i only saw a game from him.I would like to see you opinion about him because i think you will know better him.

Stitch is an unknown quantity at this point
I don't believe we will abandon our transfer politics - so our next keeper will probably the great Marco Ballota

yes but the werent consistant. We had alot fo 3-5 goal games. and then FAR more 0 goal games.....Plus pippos stats r hugely inflated. he scored 10 in like last 6 games... basically didnt score before that. And he has never played a full season. That is why a consistant CF is so important for us to get. an eto'o adebayor berbatov type who scores at a high rate and plays every game...

i do agree w/ you about consistancy on wings and need for creativity. I just think we need both. 49 out of your attack isnt VERY good either

Absolutely not.

I've already seen Milan make several acquirements already... so what's the problem here?
