Drogba has now recanted his "want away stance"...think I read it on theGuardian this am.

I strongly disagree, Anelka has never fulfilled his true potential he once had in his early days at Arsenal. Believe me at the age of 20 this kid had more potential than Henry.

I must say Wenger is crafty when it comes to letting players go as I can't remember a player who has become a star after leaving him.

dissapointed that Adebayor is gonna stay with arsenal i really wanted to see him in milan but you never know....now it seems like its either gonna be eto'o or drogba or mr "X" who ever it is hopefully we get done things quickly rather than waiting

How do you rate podolski !!... I think the guy can fit well in our system

striker with Pato & kaka behind them ( He did well during WC 06 in that role)

AM with Kaka behind pato ( he is currently doing well in Euro in that position on the left wing)

Read earlier he was linked to Fiorentina. He should not be very expensive and he is young.

That's definitely a good idea. He seems to be playing better than Mario Gomes... we should definitely get him so Fiorentina doesn't.

i really dont think we'll sign eto'o or adebayor. arsene wenger is keen on keeping adebayor. Eto'o is wanted by chelsea and inter leading to a bidding war. He'll cost more than 40, something we wont pay (rightfully)...... so who does this leave?

drogba- i do not want him. He's 30, and hurt alot last year...

and then after that its reall speculation? Jo (might be best prospect because of his relation w/ pato... but i dont know if he is that good yet...but if u really believe boriello can contribute and pippo has more in the tank, it might be worth it)

berbatov? i agree w/ giancarlo he'll rpob go to an epl team but man, if galliani steps up his bidding on him we r in drivers seat.... Berbatov grew up a big ac milan fan, and a fan of van basten... and tottenham want to move him outside england. not to a team above them they r trying to compete w/

gomez does not impress me.... I'd like to see huntelaar, villa, or podolski's names linked

Of course we are not going to outspend every team but these silly rumours are getting too repetitious

We spent a lot of money on one player already (Zambrotta)... what makes you think we won't spend a lot on others?

How about we buy Roman Pavluchenko and Alexander Anyukov? These two players have been putting up strong performances... the Russian market may be cheaper... and what great talents they are...

That is soooo truee!!!! you know whats even more annoying,that same template is replying over over again from our management for every player we`ve been linked with.

Episode nr.1 :

We are interested to _________ player!!!
We approach the ________ player!!
Than we meet with ________ club officials!!
They give green light!!
The_______ player wants milan!!!
We have an agreement with the________player!!!
Another round of meetings with ________ club officials!!!
The________club asks this __$___ price!!
Berluor& Galiani go public a and say his_______ overpriced and expensive for us!!

almost every player that we have been linked for can be inserted in the blanks

So sad!!

I think it's sites like goal.com that exaggerate certain things. I don't think we wanted Adebayor to begin with.

i know goal.com isnt reliable but i am just saying because the quote in the article is taken from berlu and if he said this than if we cant pay for adebayor than how are we gonna pay for players that are actually proven and not just young and upcoming but you guys are right these sites do exgerate alot

Unfortunately yes. We won't pay top dollar (euro) for the top talent because we are miserly and we penny pinch. Not qualifying for the CL does not help either. Don't hold your breath because we won't be getting anyone big for the striker department. In fact, we may not get a striker at all and use Paloschi as a contingency plan.

Hopefully, I am wrong, but I think come August 31st we will have signed no one of note for the striker department.
