I know we won't buy any of these players but i thought the Austrian right-back Garics (plays for Napoli) and the Croatian left-back Pranjic have played very well in their 3 games. Lahm has once again been a very good player on both sides and Boruc has been one of the best Goal Keepers in the tournament. It's ludicrous we won't spend money on him.

I prefer to keep quiet about prediction etc ...

Anything is possible tomoz .. anything ~~ i Just hope luck is with the azzurri but theres soo many different posibilities ~ linking the 3 teams ... romania france and italia that it would take a gambling man to make a clear and certain prediction ~~

FORZA ITALIA

Yeah, its surprised to watch Gombez play like that. He couldnt play he did in the League. Pity for him.

Lahm is really good fullback on left and rightside, tough at defending and fast plus decent dribble while attacking. I do like how he played today. He deserved to be man of the match.

Ballac was excellent at defending but not so great when attacking. Podolski played pretty well today and maybe Milan could try to sign him if he is not part of Klinsmann tactic.

i read that he is taking out Pirlo and Del Piero. dunno if he changed it in the last minutes. this is also confusing me. so far Pirlo was the one who created many chances for Italy. i hope Donadoni could surprise me with his unpredictable decision.

and btw.. it would be Germany vs Portugal in the quarter final. Ballack was good last night. hope he can talks more later when he meets the likes of CR7, Deco and Iniesta

If Pirlo is out then Italy might as well just start packing their bags. Donadoni would be an idiot to remove Pirlo from the team. He just needs De Rossi and Perrotta playing the majority of game next to him.. these players should not be substituted.

I really hope you are right. Italy must be France by a solid goal difference... it's been since 1978 since Italy has beaten France by goals... we need a solid 2-0 or even 3-0 defeat of France.

I think by not including F.Inzaghi in squad that stupid Dhonadoni has made a massive mistake. Its not that Italy is not creating chances, its just the finishing letting them down. Toni has missed at least 3 clear cut chance in the 2 matches. Just imaging if Inzaghi was there, he would have scored atelast 2 of them. Specially against Romania when at the later stages of the match Zambrota went for an over lap and entered the penalty area, the keeper came to the near post & Zomby made the cross, But NO ONE was there in front of the Fully Open goal. Toni was at the far post, if I am not mistake That chance went begging. I was thinking had Inzaghi been on the field, he certainly would have taped that one in because of his positioning quality which even stuns Johann Cryuff. Similarly against Holland Inzaghi would have scored at least 1 goal for all those chance which fell to Toni
Also Totti has been missed big times. Italy don't has any substitute for him & Nesta has really disappointed the ACM fans by not coming back to NT

I agree with you that Inzaghi could have done great but Toni did play well, he lacked luck sometimes that's all. As for Nesta I am glad he doesn't play for Italy anymore, he quit at their peak. Besides he needs to rest for the new season same goes for Totti and even Maldini. These three player gave a lot to the national team and they had their fair share of injurys. It's only natural that they chose for a longer carreer without NT.

Toni could have given many balls to Inzaghi !! I'd like to see that before the end of Inzaghi's career.

SEriousely, it will be a great Euro untill the and and Im hoping for Italy win even dough I said I was for Romania when arguing Giancarlo. I cant help my self in the end Italy-Spain in quaters and then semis:

Portugal-Croatia

If Croatia reaches semis this country will be completely out of function, even now its football and everything else is just " ah...later...". France 98' for our small country is not a success like Milan winning CL or Germany being 2nd or winning Euro, its a religious event And now we are close to playins semis, which would be incredible!
