Summer Mercato

Payne, i've been a fan of huntelaar, and i'd be really excited to have him, in fact, i'd probably go buy a jersey with his name on it! i'd think galliani did a nice bit of business and that we've got an eye to the future. Others on here are also coming around to the idea of having him. I hate when people piss on a league; the fact is, we don't know how a player will play till they have the chance, and if huntelaar goes to a mid-level italian team and plays well, his price will go up and then galliani will say "he's too expensive." so wtf, stump up and go for him. if he's good enough for madrid, why not us? oh wait, we're only good enough for madrid's busted up misfits...

not only madrid, but ManU wants him, Roma wants him, Juventus wants him, just to name a few teams, and im sure that barca wants him too.

Manu has Rooney and Tevez as strikers both are good (though i dont really rate them), and ronaldo whos is a goal scoring maniac is england.

Juventus has trez, amauri, delpiero, iaquinta and palladinho as strikers

Madrid has Van Nistelrooy, Raul, Higuain, Robinho, Scheijer, robben, and many other people able of scoring goals.

Milan has Kaka, Pato, Inzaghi(when healty) as goal scorers. we have the most need for him.

Bernd Schuster has said of the player(huntelaar) "It seems like they have cloned him from Marco van Basten. His way of moving, shooting with both feet and heading power all remind me of Van Basten.

and guess who marco was a great player for?

so why not make it happen?

I rate him more like van nistelrooy. That being said. If he's 75% of either of those players when he goes abroad i'll take it

That'd make for an interesting transfer, since marco wants him to stay at ajax one more year, but if milan made a move, what could marco say then?

Who knows payne that may just be the surprise of the summer. The one person we're not linked to that comes to us. Honestly I'd be THRILLED if Huntelaar signed for us. The guy has EVERYTHING...just provide him with PROPER service and he'll score. End of. Proper service means a DYNAMIC midfield and GOOD crossing. Zambro + Janku should be adequate for the flanks in case we don't get a LB. Pirlo Ambro/Gattuso Flamini Kaka should be good enuff for midfield. Pato + Huntelaar will both score 20 goals each if this can happen

He would sell him, ask for a one year loan ... then he would play in Milan under Ancelotti for one year and would play for Van Basten again the year after ...

Gila wouldn't move to get into good positions; Huntelaar and Pippo are always super-active.

haha. i jus came back from the barber with my friend, EXACT same hair cut (him, not me). things get crazi around euro cup time, even in canada. about his wing play, duely noted, but i can still see him in the line up because i do not find him that one dimensional.

His price will most likely skyrocket after the tournament, along with lahm, but these are excellent players for milan, and i hope we can get them next summer. I have been hopin we get these two for a very long long time, maybe lahm+schweinsteiger for oddo+gattuso+10-20 mill, but i know the likelyhood is 0.00001%.

jtelly you bring up a very good point about movement,i have to believe that's the main reason why Pippo works so well with Kaka.
Sheva was very good with his movement,maybe one of the reasons why Milan went after Pato so hard.

schweinstarjfd;vcer is ok. but he's one dimmensional. personally I dont like wingers all that much. Players like mancini etc r just too one dimensional. And float out of way too many games, my 2 cents....

podolski though. I think if you put him w/ pato upfront w/ kaka behind him....could be a gigantic beast. He's alot more skilled than i previously thought
