I think Milan should of done more work in the transfer market last year in order to defend the CL Title,but nobody was really talkng about as much they are now?
I was not posting message with you guys last year,but that's what remember reading on this site and other sites

I did...I wish I had the time and the patience to dig up some of my first posts when I came on this forum.

I slammed managements transfer policy/activity last year and everyone was like, "oh no we're world champs we're fine" people were telling me, "we just won the CL we doen't need to change anything."

This year I do agree they have made some signings...is it enough for their "OBJECTIVE" this coming year NO!

Last year did we get played by management with that whole Mr. X thing? YES!!!

So people have legitimate grounds to be concerned whether or not management will get the players that they stated they will.

Add last year's poor transfer market, with the poor performance of our team this past year, and all the talk of names that are too expensive and the money that we don't have this year...what confidence has management instilled in fans that something will happen?

We can't look at last year. Or the year before. Or the year before that.

Management may indeed do something this year...but I'm preparing myself for more of the same until they come through and purchase/acquire some of the names/promises that they have made.

About this Ronaldinho Eto thing...enough talk already just let me see one or both of them in a Milan jersey.

Spanish clubs have too some advantages on Italian ones.

And not being in CL one year is not a problem, if it's so frustrating to finish 5th, just remember some years ago (like you've followed the club for more than 20 years) when the club did worst ...

Chelsea spent so much that not qualifying for CL each year would be a joke (look at before Abramovitch was there, it was just a decent club), MU/Liverpool/Arsenal had some years too with no CL, Barcelona too, it can happen to every club.

Maybe some of you want to win everything every year but it can't happen (except if you play in Ligue 1 lol) ...

1) Since when has Italian teams been so inferior to EPL or La Liga teams? We are also bankrolled by extremely rich men. Is Berlusconi any poorer than Abramovich? If Italian teams are indeed so inferior, how do you explain Inter's mercatos every year. How do you explain Juve's last 2 summer seasons. How do you explain Fiorentina's resurgence and transfer activity. My point is that the whole of Italian football may be at a slight disadvantage, but are still very competitive on the transfer front. It seems like only Milan have difficulty spending money.

2) Ask yourself this. WHy did we not qualify for CL this year? I will tell you. It is because Galliani and co did not buy enough players last summer to ensure proper squad depth. For chrissakes, they knew that we would be involved in the league, CL, and the WOrld club cup, and they still sent out a paper thin squad to compete. What happened? Pirlo and Rino and Kaka played every game until their forms dipped. Ronaldo and Pippo were injured and there were no proper replacments. Remember the games when Ambro was played as a striker? Absolutely disgraceful for a club of this stature.

3) As somebody else said. If we did everything we could to prepare the team and then still fail to qualify for CL---it is understandable, but when management grossly miscalculates and do not make an effort to strengthen our squad KNOWING full well the scale and amount of competitions we have to face----that is what makes me upset.

I don't remember Ambro playing as a striker. For one, when we did have an issue with strikers, we turned to Paloschi. And I see evidence now we are putting lots of new players into our team... it's not about spending money, but spending it well and wisely so you have more in the future or for other players. That's the problem with say Chelsea and Barcelona (they spend horrendous amounts of money and have little show for it).

i think arshavin is a player on rise who WANTS to win everything. dinho is a player who HAS won everything and clearly plays like it. just lacks the hunger.

it sucks to say because for 2 years he was better than just about anyone ive ever seen... but he really doesnt look like he has the will anymore. if we do end w/ him though.... i hope i'm wrong. also. him + kaka + pato is WAAY too many guys who dribble alot

That Arshavin guy From what I saw in the Uefa Cup Final, he is a great player. Of course, I'm not often see him. He was a constant threat down that wing and in that game Rangers really struggled to deal with him. He has good movement off the ball as well, which I noticed throughout the game, and his passing was simply brilliant. Especially the one to set up Denisov for the first goal, through the legs of Cuellar.

He started as a winger, and then converted into an attacking mid, then a striker, and finally his best position a 2nd striker. So you know how useful he can be with us! Very versatile ! My answer would definitely YES

yes i think he'd fit our tactics perfectly.....he goes eveyrwhere on field, will even get involvedon defense. has kind of a carlos tevez type of mentality- aggression, always running working.

apparently gus hiddink says arshavin is smartest player he's ever had. hiddink is a good coach, thats a pretty nice compliment.

he is 27... but he looks 12, so hows that for youth? lol

He's like a king in Zenit. Zero chance for our bald head transfer guru to sign him. He is technically good, good with both feet, has vision and versatile. So dream on, Dude

Arshavin is godly, i will take him over R10 on current form. Imagine him and kaka behind Pato, we will rape any team.

Arshavin is fricking amazing, like wow. he was absolutely astonishing today.

Pirlo, Arshavin already stated that he wants to leave Zenit...so the only reason we have to dream on, is because there is no chance that kojak will make a move for him.

You're third point is the root of everyones frustration and cannot be successfully disputed...think i'll put it as my sig.

On another note...that Arshavin guy along with Pavlyuchenko are studs...what a way to just flat out run and out play your opposition in to the ground. Fully deserved!!!
