How are we so easily fooled? This article is corroborated. That's a simple fact. And I think Milan is being pressured to spend big bucks. Adebayor may very well be worth that amount. LOL... i'm defending him... that's ironic. I still think we should spend 40 million on Eto'o.

And 35 million isn't?

I still think we should spend the 35 million on Eto'o... but Adebayor is better than not having anything... as I'm not entirely sure if Barca will sell Eto'o to Milan.

Um I sure it won't. I think Milan still has a few players in mind. But... we will do at least one major signing.

After all, we might get Ferrari and a few more free agents... that won't cost anything (besides wages)...

I really think Adebayor is the not the answer to our team. We need a keeper, CB, another attk mid and then a striker.

Adebayor is a striker... and personally we had issues with scoring this previous season... and if we have him he could help with that greatly. We had a striker that simply couldn't score (Gilardino)... I think he's appropriate. Though my preference for Eto'o is still stronger.

You are talking about the best striker from last season. It is a pleasure and privilige for him to be associated with us.

And if you must know he is worth a lot more than those 40 M Euro.

I think 40 million is a bit high (maximum I think 35 m)... but he's a fine striker and exactly what Milan needs... though my first choice remains Eto'o.

I think people are too into the idea of one super signings and Milan will be back on top again. To me, having someone like R10, Arshavin or Adebayor or all of them in Milan next year will help Milan win a few more games but not to the point where they are good for 20+pts. That is if all three are to sign with Milan and not just one.
The point is that last season and even the season before that showed the holes in our team.
1. Inconsistent goaltending-that is a big key as if we have a more reliable goalkeeper, alot of draw would have been W and some loss might be draws.
2. Lack of squad depth in all areas- with players like Zambrotta, Abate, Antonini, Flamini and Borreillo, they will help but the team needs more, esp. in defense
3. Lack of speed - clearly the team might be one of the toughest team when healthy but they are also one of the slowest team when healthy. Players like Seedorf just did not run in 90% of the all his matches.
4. Scoring- how often did our team came out blazing with fire and yet could not score in the first 20mins of the game? A reliable striker is needed, he does not need to be a superstar but just someone that can score inside the 6 yards box.

Overall, I think the team is improving, Zambrotta is an huge upgrade over both Cafu and Oddo, Antonini is an upgrade from Serginho, Flamini is another huge upgrade over Emerson, Brocchi and Gourcuff combine, Abate is the speed demon that our team lacks, and Borreillo is an upgrade over R9, as he should stay healthy for the whole year unless he is doing drugs again.

but I just wish Galli to just shut up and do his job. As no GM or President of the club comes out and say we are after so and so to smokescreen people or say the team is poor and just can't sign anyone. Modern day GM or President actually go out and sign players within their given budget.

To Tony29, I really envy the Juve's system as I think they have a much more structural plan than any other clubs in Series A. The way that they are willing to spend 58M just to upgrade the team fully knowing there is no CL the coming year, while at the same time developing youth. On top of that, once the player is not performing at the level they desire, they will cut their loss quickly and sell or loan them. I think that not only Chellini are going to be great, some others like Crisito can also be great in the future.
