If Pato plays our formation becomes the above one with Pato stepping in where Sheva left. What's so hard to understand?
Where the hell have you been all these years? Do you even know how to read? 4-3-1-2 is what I was referring to as 4-4-2. The 4-3-2-1 simply does not work for Milan anymore when it comes to certain games. I simply don't see why we can't play with two strikers.

Personally, I'd like to get back to the transfer market and how important it is us for us to get another striker. What happens if Pippo and Pato get injured again? We would have a lack of depth.

Why are you so against us getting another striker?

Actually, that would be an ideal formation to periodically rest Pirlo!

why do we need 2 dm's? no other top club really plays w/ 2 as consistant as us. it's been proven you cant win league playing so defensive. you cant take 3 points consistantly playing defensive. name the last time who played as defensive as milan who won league?

we need to not worry about the formation and carlos tactics as we do bringing in as many class players to win. he'll make it work. but i am a big fan of abandoning our 4-3-2-1 tactic for most matches..... save it for europe and big matches.... 2 leg ties. not away to siena or home to cagliari...
While I love Inzaghi and Pato, I have some issues with our current bank of strikers. Pato has some finishing issues and can be inconsistent at times. Pippo like it or not is getting older and will be playing less games, in fact I think he should be saved for UEFA Cup games, because he specializes in that. That's where Adebayor can come in... helping us win the scudetto.

As I say, lets beef up the attack and take chances. We are beefing up the defensive back four, so playing with two defensive midfielders may no longer be necessary.

So yes I agree with you.

There are different views not only between Berlusconi and Ancelotti, but also in the AC Milan dressing room: Zambrotta, Oddo, Seedorf and Jankulovski support Adebayor; Borriello and Inzaghi aim at Ronaldinho and the fans want both. Galliani is buying time waiting for the sales.

tuttosport... crap source... perhaps whole dinho ade thing is a ploy

A ploy for what? A different surprise signing?

Argue with my opinion if you want, but don't make it personal and don't resort to personal attacks. Your first 2 statements (particularly the second one) is a direct personal attack.

I have thick skin, but I also have high expectations of this forum. This is where mature grown-ups discuss football and AC Milan, not a place for personal insults. I think I and a lot of people have brought this issue up with you. When will you learn?

Now, back on topic--dont get me wrong, I'd love to have both Ade and Dinho here and every other top player for that matter, but I dont want to see the likes of Pato (who is a phenom) and Boriello (who we spent a good deal of money on to bring back) rot on the bench, that's all. I mean if we didnt get Boriello back, then that's one thing. And if we get another trequartista (R10) we will have between 3-4 strikers: Pato, Pippo, Boriello, Kaka/R10--both can play as striker as well. Now if you add Adebayor or Drogba to that mix, then I think we have too many players for one position. I think the choice should be either Adebayor or R10. If you ask me honestly, I would probably go for Adebayor because he is exactly what we have needed and have been missing ever since Crespo left and Gila arrived.

I don't get how you are getting to one thing from the other. You're thinking if I'm in favor of bringing in a forth striker for this team I'm in favor of letting other players rot on the bench? It's interesting you use that ridiculous terminology. No one here is personally attacking you or advocating letting players rot on the bench.

Our strike force is simply not strong enough and we need one more striker. That's all I want. Even if we don't get another attacking midfielder. But may need a sub for Seedorf (or vice versa). Yes, this is a place where grown-ups discuss football. But you made some very personal claims about me saying I don't know what I'm talking about and haven't been watching it. When will I learn? Rephrase that. When will you learn? You made this personal and it certainly wasn't. You attacked my knowledge on whether I've watched games in the past few years (and I have). 4-3-1-2 all the way. That's my opinion.

No one is advocating letting them rot on the bench, and personally I'm only really in favor of getting Adebayor. If we get Adebayor none of those strikers will rot on the bench if we play 4-3-1-2 more often. it's best to have 4 strikers, as Inzaghi can be kept as our UEFA Cup specialist. That would leave Pato, Borriello and Adebayor. You're not listening to what a lot of us are saying.

We shouldn't play unproductive 4-5-1 formations in simple league games... take risks I say! Heck, the 4-5-1 formation is basically why our league position was so weak. It's fine in certain tournaments, but not for the entire league. It's put way too much pressure on Kaka and Seedorf all the time.

i cant lie, buying dinho is our smartest option. people say hes decreased in form, but how? becasue he hasnt show boated with his many moves? he still got by people equally as effective and provided pass by pass excellently, just because they couldnt make anything of his passes all the time, its not his fault. i dont think ronaldinho ever loses the ball when it counts

Pirlo can defend, he even do it well. He also work and run more than anyone but Gattuso.

Well, that's why you add Flamini into the fold... he's an upgrade to Gatusso...

I feel that Flamini will add the defensive-ness that we sorely miss..

Well if Milan figured out Adebayor is going to Barca it is only realistic to for Dinho.
