BTW... this is from a previously posted article that Ancelotti said:

"“Aside from the tactics, it is a question of studying the movement of the three forwards. Pippo Inzaghi and Marco Borriello have the characteristics to stay up there alone, but Pato does not."

-----

He understands completely... so I don't think he'll sacrifice Pato. If anything, at least Marco Borriello would play alongside with Pato...

Pato should come in more as a super-substitute I think... he's did fine in that last game against Udinese if you all remember. 4-3-1-2 is best suited for him...

I think he should be a regular sub... and should be brought on even if we are winning a match. Not Emerson.

I dont want pato as a sub, i want him as a starter.

Carletto, needs to come up with another formation to get Kaka, R10, Pato and a striker all in the one the field.

and so for pirlo and Flamini. Gattuso is the best player to come on a a regular sub, the seedorf, if he is still here.

i prefer to win. if pato is good eough he will start. but to have an 18 year old be focal point of our offense, we wont win league. it could also kill his career. if we get dinho.... then him +dinho and kaka will be in a 3 person rotation for 2 'creative offensive spots' be it attacking mid or support striker.... if he gets 20 leage starts... 10-15 more sub appearances... thats great. if he hits amazing form, he an relegate some1 else to the bench.

but you dont build ur team around 18 year old. he is the future, he will be a star but he needs time to grow. you dont see barca selling everyone to start bojan 30 games. they r bringing in peices so they can bring him along slowly... they did same thing w/ messi. even when he was super talented at 18 he didnt start full time. took him a couple years....

dinho and ronaldo both played at smaller clubs (psg and psv for exmple)

I have no problem with Huntelaar, and he is definitely better than Boriello.

Boriello is better than Huntelaar. We are lucky to get Boriello back. And Huntelaar wastes way to many chances, and against Italian keepers. It's suicide.

Ha! Huntelaar for 25 million euros? It's a bargain!

How? Borriello already scored 20 goals in Serie A in one season, which you can't say about Huntelaar.

Lets spend 10-15 million more for Adebayor and be guaranteed better chances. Huntelaar is pretty wasteful. Yes Adebayor isn't the best finisher either, but he can learn from Inzaghi. But for people to say we should focus on Ronaldinho... I think that's not what Milan needs right now. We really need a strong forward...

I do not think Huntelaar is good enough for the Serie A. Afterall, scoring in the Serie A is a lot more difficult than any other league because of the defensive nature of teams and the high number of quality goalkeepers.

another arguement for ade or berbatov. epl is a tougher league that it was 5 ears ago. And epl has best goolies in the world van der saar, reina, cech, howard, keller, james etc

Exactly. I just view Adebayor, Berbatov and even Drogba (my last choice because of his age) as more proven and better than Huntelaar. These guys have had to score against some of the best keepers in the world. If I remember correctly Adebayor did score against ManU in a game this previous season (despite Arsenal losing that I think it was 2-1... but can't quite remember).

Our management would never go for Huntelaar. I can guarantee it. He just does not have the characteristics we need in a player, and I don't think they are convinced by him.

My guess is he will end up in Real.

Yes, but unlike Gilardino, Adebayor scored 24 times last season (or was it 27?)... far better than Gilardino's 11 was it? Look at the bigger picture and stop nitpicking. And you're comparing Adebayor to Gilardino lol? That's almost comical.

They are two completely different kind of strikers... and Adebayor is far more physical and mobile than Gilardino (at least the Gilardino we've seen the past one or two seasons).
