Once again I have to express my sadness that Galliani didnt listen to Naletilic and sign Modric. Before he signed for Tottenham for 25mln I was telling people on forums that he has class, that he can play for Milan. But peopel want to see numbers in papers before they "realise" someone is good. Now, at this moment when he is in top 11 of Euro by UEFA, people suddenly "know" that. He outplayed Ballack and Frings, isnt that enough? Even outplayed Gerrard at Wembley! ( Gerrard IS a better palyer dough, just pointing it out). Naletilic told Galliani that midfield consisting of Pirlo-Modric-Gattuso-KAka' would be the best in the world and that he only needs to step in contact with Dinamo, as Milan has GREAT connections with Croatian managers and clubs and is followed greatly in Croatia in general ( like Brasiliero talks about Milan in Brasil ). Him and Flamini would fill ALL the gaps in midfield.

A player that can play DM, CM, RM/LM, AM, can defend and pass whenever he wants and however he wants, runs 11km per match...and he goes to Tottenhem...???!!!

With him,Flamini(free),Abate(free),Zambrotta(not to expencive), GK ( 10 mln ), one CB and one forward we would have perfect team. And that is possible, and not too much to pay.

Well now my next wish is Ronaldinho, the most talčented player on earth. Who CAN play well with KAka'. Brasil played 4-2-2-2 sistem, and not 4-5-1 ( 4-3-2-1). And Ronaldinho and KAka' cant play together in 4-2-2-2. This would be a different story. EVERYONE can play with ronaldinho and EVERYONE can play well with Kaka'. Even Brocchi as AM.

Adebayor told the News of the World: "Either Arsenal give me what I want and I stay or they don't and I leave."
Adebayor, 24, wants a mega new £120,000-a-week deal - a staggering 400 per cent increase on his current wages.

Adebayor made it clear he would snub Milan in favour of Barca if the Gunners do not meet his demands
Milan are a big club but the fact they are not playing in the Champions League next season is less of a challenge he added

Barcelona have made a good financial offer and there is also the chance to play alongside great players. Yes, I am still under contract to Arsenal but it's up to the directors to satisfy my demands or I'll leave

Still prefer Villa. He's a very accomplished striker and can do anything a striker needs to do.

The news about Schweinsteiger coming is going louder and louder...

That's very stupid of him to pick Barcelona. He saw how Henry has done in Barcelona... not too well at all.

He should really consider Milan. Even though we are not playing in the CL... we will be focusing on the domestic title, and will be back in the CL shortly. I'm sure he would want to win a trophy, whereas Barcelona and Arsenal win nothing. Barcelona hasn't even been capable of contesting the domestic title in Spain, and I don't think they'll be able to do it again.

However there is a silver lining if he does pick Barcelona, that means Eto'o may be off loaded.

Dude, just because Henry failed doesn't mean Adebayor will. Henry also failed at Juventus, so does that mean players should stop going there? Vieira was unsuccessful at Milan, but quite successful at Arsenal.

Barcelona won the double in 2006, something that we have not been able to do since 1994 (beating Barca 4-0 in Athens ).

Also, Barcelona are a special club, and they are in the CL. Plus, they offer good wages, and he can link up with Messi there.

From our perspective, of course we want him to come to Milan, but think about it from a neutral's perspective.

We will probably get Ronaldinho and Galliani will say, "con Ronaldinho saremo a posto". Oh, and for good measure he will add, "il Milan e' il re del mercato". Get me Dinho and a CB, and I will be happy. Is that too much to ask?

Good that you mentioned this.
If we use that weird logic than we can as well say that players who do well in Arsenal don't do well in Milan.

Barcelona hasn't won anything since 2006. How are they special? They had a disastrous run domestically the last two years. I am thinking from a neutral perspective. Milan has a more distinguished history than Barcelona and has had more success the last two decades than Barcelona.

Ronaldinho just isn't what we need. Why? He's so out of form. And let me tell you, what if he gets injured again? He's already recovering from an injury. I don't suggest we get yet another injured Brazilian and hope everything turns out for the best.

We need a REAL forward.

A true story for idiots maybe.

Why are you even trying to compare the two players? I thought you were supposed to be some football expert but here you are comparing an all round central midfielder in Gerrard with an attacking midfielder who is more like Deco or someone of his ilk. Makes no sense. Croatia don't have anyone close to Gerrard and England don't have anyone close to Modric, it's like comparing Deco with Yaya Toure, you just wouldn't do it unless you were just desperate to prove a ridiculous point.

I forget how many games Vieira played for Milan but it was only a handful at the most. So it's not like he had a chance to be successful with us.

We also went two seasons without winning anything - (04-06) - so that doesn't make a team horrible all of a sudden.

Jim you can't classify Modric as any particular sort of midfielder because he does EVERYTHING. Same way Gerrard does EVERYTHING. I don't see the problem with comparing the two players as come to think of it, they're very similar in truth.

You can attribute that to Albertini!!!!, he was untouchable at that time....remember Davids played for us too....both Him and Vieira went on to become th best DM in the world.

that is true Jamie...Modric is still not near Gerrards accomplishments, however his an all -round player. In fact he hasnt played as pure attacking midfielder for a long time, cuz for the national team he plays more of a DM with more freedom(Pirlo) and for Dinamo he used to play on the left of 4-4-2.

I hope Totnham plays him more upfront where his magic is endless.

It's all right to compare both of those. I'm not agreeing that Modric is better than Gerrard (no way, Gerrard is far better at this time), but it's all right. Those both are great midfielders. Anyway, please show to another comment by not calling them idiots, even though I know that you were surely hurt when someone said Hrvatska >>> England to someone from UK. We're all Milan fans at all.

He wasn't successful with us, so he didn't play much and only lasted one season with us. That's the truth for me. And no regrets for he left us.
