BTW: Daniel Güiza is 27 years old, and plays for Mallorca, which is only a mid-table spanish side... I guess our board should think about him.

Honestly I couldn't care less who won it. Italy was my first team, and then Netherlands. But Spain indeed deserved it. They played a good tournament, and Germany was simply too weak.

By the way: Ballack 2002 & 2008? Wow. Just wow.

I am also one of the ones who wasn't sure he would be a success at Milan for example. He did great in the goal and the final but in my opinion in Euro 2008 as a whole he wasn't Spain first or second best player. I stand by my thinking but for sure he did well.

Congratulation to Spain and they outplayed the German for sure. The result should have been 3-1 in my opinion.

I think the German team deserved some respect... I am sorry, even teams like Andorra or Liechtenstein should be respected even though they never made to any tournament. It's a mutual sportsmanship respect.

As everyone pointed out, Germany defense was unreliable. I don't know if yall will agree with this one. Phillipe Lahm is not great at all. In the game against Turkey, he could have been sent off. His defensive skill wasn't up there, and he was outran by Torres for that goal. Well, also I give credit to Torres for all his runs. Oh boy, Milan surely missed the opportunity to pick him up.

Oh, let me add something about Italy... what I'd like to say is Italy was the closest one to knock Spain out of the tournament with the organized defense, which many people bashed them for playing "defensive football." That's what made me upset because there is nothing called "modern football." At the end of the day, result counts. You can play ugly as long as you get the job done. It is just pure business. Capice.

Mertesacker, Metzelder, Fredrich are disgraces... compared to what Germany has produced in these positions before... I think Breitner was one of the legends in German football... he was a defender right? I can't remember.

Italy did indeed almost knock Spain out and one play nearly decided that when Italy nearly put the ball in the back of the net. But Spain played well and deserve this deeply.

Great news for french haters, Domenech remains the french coach till 2010.

Too bad, Serie A players will have to suffers L'arrogance française for two more years. I really pity Mexes and Flamini.

I was adamant, he was over rated. Obviously people such as your self saw something that we didnt see. Thats football though and that is why Zidane became Zidane and Duggarry became Duggary. It isnt an exact science.

Congrats to Spain who won a great tournament. I don't like the Spanish side, but hats off to them for playing excellent football throughout.
