When Galiani throws out a number I expect thorough application of it to whatever he's speaking about, and (in your opinion) how it will impact on our team.

when Milan beat Inter, no i mean, when Milan outclassed Inter(well, for 75 mins atleast ) they had more quality(like you guys want to call them) players.

Ace, when Milan outplayed Inter that day they played without (Ibrahimovic, Cordoba, Samuel, Stankovic and Cambiasso''if my memory didn't let me down'') so it was normal that we out played them and Milan played without Oddo which is an advantage.

I am not saying that if these players were playing then Inter would win but certainly it was going to be much diffecult for us and easier to Inter Like what happen in the last three derbies before the one you are talking about.

Inter has/buy much better players than Milan (Kaka, Nesta and Pirlo are exceptions) and if Milan didn't get some quality players then Inter will equalize the 17 Scudettos that Milan had won, and will increase the gab between them and us in the head to head games.

One last thing it's nice to have Italian players in an Italian team, but claiming that they are better than the other (as players or for the fans) is .............hmmmm lets say a little bet racist, I mean that fans world wide don't whather the team has Italians or not they just want to see it competetive with or without Italians only Italian fans care for that.

I am troubled a bit by the Drogba rumors resurfacing....of all the "power strikers" I like him the least, more from a personality perspective, than from an objective assessment of his talent.

i couldnt agree more. Although i do feel we should have a base of italian players. (i believe all clubs should.... real should have spanish players, arsenal english...) If we signed 5 nonitalians.... our team would still be more than half italian. We are in no danger of losing our identity as an italian club

Why didnt Löw play him on the right winger in the group matches when Germany played two-striker formation? Löw instead played Fritz who is much better at defending than Schweinsteiger.

Wikipedia says Schweini can play DM, CM, etc. Yes, he can. Its like Gattuso, he CAN play as striker, AMC etc but is he able to do that? Schweini is great while he is attacking BUT not when he is defending.

If we want a viable substitute for Seedorf, it's Schweinsteiger, not Quaresma.

1) you're totally wrong about Lahm...one mistake doesn't make him a bad player....you used that same line when some didn't want Zambrotta

2) you're probably right about schweinsteiger>quaresma for Milan....but you must admit that if it's pace we're looking for then Quaresma is our man

The difference is Lahm's mistake cost Germany a trophy, and now it's been 12 years. And he did it consistently throughout that match... he was poor defending, despite being good attacking. Zambrotta was rather solid defending... Lahm was not.

Quaresma is not coming to Milan. I know you are one of his biggest admirers, but I'm not. The thing about Schweinsteiger is he is great on set pieces and that could help reduce pressure on Pirlo...

Anyways guys, the real juicy stuff will hopefully come on July 5th when the transfer window opens...
