take a look at the "Milan History: Things you should know"

Berlu didn't save Milan from Serie B... Milan was already a Serie A team... with problems, yes... but not in B... also, Napoli's problems were far more than just financial...

Um Milan were relegated because of a scandal, then got promoted, then got relegated again. In other words, they were not going down a good path. When Berlusconi took over they may have been in the Serie A, but they were having severe problems. If Berlusconi did not step in... Milan would not have had any of the glory it has had for the next 20 years (1988-2008).

Milan was not in the Serie A 1980-81... they were sent down in 1979-1980... they then gained promotion from the Serie B again in 1982-83... Berlusconi started his ownership just 3 years after (1986), but Milan not at any point was close to getting towards the top. This 85-86 Serie A saw us in 7th place... only 1987-88 did we finally win the Scudetto after those bad years.

The thing with Borreillo is that, if lets say Milan does not sign him and other teams did. THen he have another 19 goals or more season in Series A, Milan will look stupid for letting him go for 10M.
I think it was a tough decision on the Borreillo b/c the MGT is afraid he will do well and we look bad.

Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea survive off foreign signings. Our youth system is bigger than their systems. And no we should not cut Seedorf. We should cut Emerson, Simic (he wants to leave), Brocchi and Favalli (perhaps retirement would be suitable for him). But... we are not looking for bargains. We did bring back three of our youth system players... so aren't they doing what you want them to do?
NOt going to comment about Galli's words anymore b/c it is really a case of I say Tomato, you say ToMAto.
'
As for Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea survivie off foreign signings? Maybe they do not have as much locate base as you would like, but alot of their signings if not all are young players, I mean very young players. Chelsea did sign guys like Sheva and Ballack at 30s, but they also signed Alex at 23, Kalou and MIkel....and Terry(Own system), Lampard, J.Cole and Cech were bought when they were 25 or younger.

ALso, I never questions or even mention the size of our youth system nor quality rather I SAID, I WOULD RATHER SEE THEM INVEST the money on has been/bargain buy IN YOUTH development instead.

ALSO, I never state that I am not happy bc Milan not bringing in youth, I question the fact that they rarely USE YOUTH and part of the reason is b/c players like Emerson, Brocchi, Simic, Favalli are here. Even to some extent Oddo and Marek too. B/C I believe that Sammarco, Mazarotti and even Gourcuff when given chance can play at the same if not a higher level than Brocchi, Simic, Emerson and Favalli. But the MGT or Carlo would rather use the latter. I also stated the example of guys like Gattuso, Ambro, Abbiati, Coco, RJ back when they first came to Milan and won the Title, nobody heard about them but they were playing for a TOP CLASS team in MILAN and performing.

The Seedorf part is the only part I wrote down, b/c I really dislike players who does not play for the team, don't want to get into that again.

PLS READ the whole and complete post and then wait awhile in order to digest the words b4 making comments. I am not trying to be rude here, but u r just so jumpy whenever someone else make a comment about the team and the players.

No, no, no, you are a little bit wrong: Italian judges are under strict control of Berlusconi's gang, nowaday.

He must have perfect balances, ....

or perfect laws about distorted balances made by himself in order to protect (always & only) himself of course.

I checked all the Italian sites and i couldn't find anything regarding Abate.
But i see that Scolari made his interest in Ronaldinho known and now Milan get a much more serious rival than Manchester City (the source is Daily mail or something. I don't know how reliable they are)

Yeah Tony, but let's look at Chelski:

With Deco's purchase, they have an abundance of AMs...Lampard, Ballack, Joe Cole, SWPhilips....Mikel(?)+Deco....and R10? Unless he plays as a second striker

While they dont have to "sell" in order to raise funds to buy, I think some of their players would rather leave, than face a long period on the bench.

In essence, I don't see R10 going there until someone leaves.

Oh and the Daily Mail is as poor as one can get in terms of being a good source for a UK based paper.

Today's news are that Chelsea finally accepted to do business with Moratti and how Lampard is almost certainly going to play for Inter.
Dunno if it's true, but even if it is, Deco is Lamp's direct replacement.

Personally, i can see Dinho only in Milan, not in City or Chelsea but it's a fact that Scolari knows Dinho very well (he was the first one who gave Dinho a chance to regularly play as a starter for Brazil. They won the WC in 2002 with Dinho as a young star of the team and Scolari as the manager of Brazil).
If it's up to Scolari i'm sure he'll choose Ronaldinho in front of Ballack, Joe Cole or Phillips. And i also believe that Abramovich would like the idea of having Ronaldinho in his team.
I expect Scolari to bring few more Brazilians+ Portuguese and to change the boring football practiced by both Mourinho and Grant with some south American or Portuguese magic.
He already brought Bosingwa and Deco, i'm sure he'll try to bring few more players from Brazil and Portugal. Players who already played for him in the national teams of BRA and POR, players who know him and respect him.

It's a loan deal. Galliani confirmed it yesterday.

"Con Abate dobbiamo pensare a rinnovare il contratto ma non vogliamo perderlo. Per questo lo abbiamo dato in prestito al Torino con un diritto di riscatto molto alto".

- Adriano Galliani.

This is from Calciomercato.
Supposedly, Ronaldinho said this in an interview for the Sun (the good news for the Milan fans are that The Sun is a tabloid and they usually invent their stories...or that's what i heard):
"E' meraviglioso che Felipe si sia interessato a me perche` e` un grande manager - ha detto Ronaldinho in un'intervista riportata dal tabloid The Sun - Ho un grande rispetto per lui perche` lo conosco fin da quando ero bambino e lui era il manager del Gremio. Se dovesse prendere corpo questa opportunita` per lavorare con lui sarebbe davvero fantastico. Abbiamo vinto insieme una Coppa del Mondo e questo io non lo dimentichero` mai".

Translation:
It's great that Felipe (Scolari) is interested in me because he's a great manager. I have great respect for him because i know him since i was a kid and he was Gremio's manager.
It would be fantastic if there is an opportunity to work with him again. We won a world cup together and that's something i could never forget.

I have a feeling it's all BS and Ronaldinho never said this. The English can confirm if The Sun have a habbit to invent stories.
