I have mixed feelings about this guy. But I do agree that we need a player upfront like him. We have too many nice guys up front. We need a nasty guy who has the look of crazy in his eye, and the stature to back it up. Baptista would be nice.

Pavlyuchenko - I think he may be the diamond in the ruff of this summer transfer campaign and may go to a team for relatively cheap (because of all the attention that Arshavin is getting) and then explode into a real good if not top goal scorer. His movement and touch in the Euro's were really nice.

LMAOOO!!!! dude where do you come up with this stuff

I guess he wouldn't be that bad...comming to think of it he IS big, Tall and Strong and if Carlo can convert Kaka into a striker why not Baptista who plays far up front anyways? Still there are better options...and dealing with Real is like going back to your gold digging ex-girlfriend...sure they'll help but the price to pay afterward isn't worth it (read : 'kaka')

It was the awful injury that stopped Oliveira's progress. If Milan bought him before the injury then i think everything would have been different.
This year he's shown again that his time in Milan was only a bad episode after the injury.
i personally just think he's frail. His style doesnt lend well to serie A, and then carlos tactics dont necessarily suit him. but you're right... it doesnt make him a bad player, just not the right player for milan

Yes, but I'd be willing to give Fabiano a chance... I don't think he's another Oliveira, and his condition is a bit better I believe... I don't think he's frail...

hahahahahaha, no real are over him. He's old news. Now they want ronaldo. Until next season when kaka lights it up again all over serie A.

you can laugh at me all i want dru, but you have to admit, the beast is the most likely transfer target

perhaps too much time on this forum is making me search for crap.

cmon admit it he's brazilian. he wants to be a striker. all brazilians have propensity to stay upfront. Even alex on chelsea makes this ridiculous marauding runs up the middle.

Actually even Kaka wanted him here too He's never impressed me though....just an average player with a tad of pace and a good finish

Please stop with Pavlyuchenko because:
- he has never scored more than 18 goals in a season
- he is 26yo (not old but take it with the previous line)
- he isn't the best Russian striker

Why would he be a success ? Seriously, if we're going to spend money for him, I would rather us not to spend it and to play with Borriello as a starter ... ( what did I just say ?! lol)

Wenger is NUTTS. What's point holding a player who doesn't happy and want to leave ?

It's the only thing I don't like with Kaka' and all his Brasilian team mates ... they all want other Brasilian players, probably some of their friends and they say that they could be an excellent option for the club whereas they're not really what we need or they're not really enough good to be called "reinforcement" (they would just strenghten the team).

I agree with you 100% on that one....sometimes I think even Dida fashions himself as a striker BUT then thing is Wenger played him as a striker and he didn't exactly light up the Prem. Not that he did bad mind you.

He has a contract, so if Wenger wants, he can say to Adebayor who isn't paid that much for moment (umh I'd like to earn his wage lol): "you stay because you have a contract, if you're not happy with that, don't sign anymore long contracts and stay on the bench".

Actually, Wenger will never do that but it could be a solution to shut the mouth of all these players with long contracts who say that they want to leave ...
