Why would I be kidding? He's a totally capable player... I mean he was the one that scored a double in that CL final I really don't want to remember ever...

And not to rub it in, but he's far better than Gilardino lol...

^^^ I thought it was clear Ambro and Gattuso shouldn't be starting together....

drucurl will become famous soon enough
The one positive I have drawn out of all of this is that Galliani IS passionate about Milan unlike what a lot have said......His words betray a sense of frustration at the whole debacle.....but Galliani can only spend what he's allowed to spend.

initially i aid yes to crespo than i thought about it. He's 33 in a couple days. He would be another mistake signing in mold of oddo, emerson, brocchi etc etc all signed past there prime.

Make no mistake before we signed oddo he was 1 of top RB's in italy. Emerson was the key midfield force for brazil for years.... no1 denies they once had alot of skill, but now they r past there prime sitting on fat contracts. If we got crespo, its just the same **** over and over again. Crespo isnt going to play for small wages.... I say suck it up management, get someone younger and promising, who is RISING... not falling. Adebayor, berbatov, eto'o. these would be great, but i wouldnt mind seeing a kid relatively unknown signed who has lots potential.

I see it this way, if we can't get another striker, then we're in trouble. Crespo can substitute Inzaghi (or vice versa)... it's better than...

No one.

And Crespo had a relatively successful time with Milan. If Inzaghi picks up an injury, who will we have? He's also in pretty good condition.

If he's a free agent, I strongly recommend we get him. I'm all in favor of getting another striker, but right now that may not be possible.

perhaps he is a genius, trying to anger the fans to rattle the board into spending more. I just think its ridiculous no1 is investing money when we had an AWFUL year

Crespo has shown he is still totally capable, and he may be good for a season or two more... he's not past his prime. However, he'll have to be an interim signing. We can signing someone else in the winter.

This is not the same old crap over and over again. Crespo is totally capable as a forward. He's not like Emerson.

I'd rather go with someone who is proven and can score consistently at the top level.

About Crespo: He has a contract with Inter, so is not a free agent like some of u think. He was released by Chelsea but had signed a 2 year extention that becomes active after he is released by Chelsea.

Guys just accept the fact that we won't be getting anyone. You will be a lot happier.

I have made peace with this situation.

You have it the other way around. Crespo has a contract with Chelsea and was released. He was only loaned out to Inter. With Adriano coming back to Inter, I highly doubt they'll want Crespo back...

You totally can't accept the fact that we will and you certainly are not going about this correctly. We will be getting another striker, whether it be Crespo or maybe some kid from South America.

Our transfer season is NOT over.

emerson was considered 1 of he best midfielders his whole time at bayer leverkussen and roma. he was key for juventus too. He started a decline at madrid, but was still key. He's been capped over 70 times for brazil and played in world cups
