Milan084, Emerson is not Crespo, and Crespo is in far better condition than Emerson. Emerson will certainly not be playing for Brazil in the World Cup 2010... but I'm sure Crespo will be.

Crespo is one of my favorite players. Such a classy striker.
Nevertheless, there are few problems with your wish to see him in Milan.

First of all, he indeed has a contract with Inter.
Second, if you ask any Inter fan he'll tell you the same thing - the age caught up with him. He was brilliant in his first season with Inter, scoring 21 goals in all competitions. But last year something happened. He was like the opposite of the great Crespo we all know. He was missing chances he usually scores with ease, he was absent and didn't position hismelf the way he knows and he was obviously not fit physically. Cruz easily took his spot in the starting XI. Then when Ibra was rested Mancini again gave a chance to Crespo but the same problems occured. At the end, even when Ibra was injured Crespo lost his place to Balotelli. He became team's 5th choice striker after Cruz, Ibra, Balotelli and Suazo.

And last but not least....at the end of 2004/05 Crespo was (literally) begging Berlusconi to buy him from Chelsea. He didn't want to go back to England and he was publicly saying that he wants only Milan. Galliani and Berlusconi decided not to listen to him and they went for Gilardino.
Next year, after Shevchenko left, Crespo again asked Chelsea to sell him to Milan but Milan again didn't want him and they were looking for a Sheva type striker. He went to Inter at the end.
Now i'm not so sure that Crespo would like to play for Milan at all. He was begging your directors to buy him (twice) and he was ignored both times.

Suazo is crap....we should at least try to get a player that is respected at his team. When Sheva and Crespo ....even Tomasson and Gila left here they were appreciated....The Inter fans are counting down the days to Suazo's sale.

You're right tony... I did read more into Crespo... I admit I haven't been following him much since the World Cup 2006... we'll probably have to look elsewhere... David Suazo would be fine... but I still hope we get Ronaldinho.

I just don't want it to seem that I have the "I'll settle for anything attitude". If anything, I really hope Milan explores its Brazilian connections, because we have now two non-EU spots open.

With that said, I gotta run. Must get to my uni's financial aid office.

I hope that is the case, but I really don't think so. The reason is that we aren't the only club in for Ronaldinho. If we don't meet Barca's demands Chelsea or Man City will.

With Gila Galliani did the same thing, but we were the only ones really really interested in him.

There is a little bit more credibility to that because afterall that is his brother. He knows him a lot more than just any agent for a player...

While I've been a skeptic of Ronaldinho big time, I'm willing to give the guy another chance. As long as he wears the red and black with honor.

And can you guys believe the LA Galaxy has tried to entice Ronaldinho? LOL. They want to buy more attacking players, yet they don't know how to defend for a damn... lol... anyone can watch their last game for that one lol...
